El Veracruz

Went there yesterday. Food was so good. Husband and I ordered the same Chimichanga De Picadilo except he had regular cheese melted on top (he doesn't like the cheese sauce) everything came out exactly how he wanted. We both really enjoyed it. Wait staff was great too.

I rarely write a negative review but I came here based on the reviews and I think people should know this is not a 4.4 star restaurant. If it were 1 thing, I would not say anything but We were here for lunch and had 3 meals, of which, there was something wrong/forgotten with each meal. In addition to that, Chicken was over cooked to the point of being hard, the chips were warm but stale, and the hard taco shell was as stale as the chips. So, just be warned that are plenty of better Mexican restaurants in Charlotte to pick from that are way better than this.

Authentic food, great drinks, and fantastic staff. They have a dance floor that opens up on weekends after about 10pm with a live DJ.
Service is overall incredible. They have vegetarian options and food for kids. Parking lot is huge and the entrance is handicap accessible.

The food is very good sometimes they forgot something but the food is good ,
Only we don’t like nobody wear mask I don’t understand why if is a restaurant.

My husband and I went here while in town based on a recommendation by our hotel concierge and online reviews. The service was extremely slow. It took a half hour to get our drinks. After two requests for water, another staff member brought it to our table. The food was average. It took nearly an hour for food to arrive after ordering. I lived in Mexico City while attending college, so I have had the best. This was definitely not it. Don’t waste your time.

Was not impressed with the place whatsoever. The only thing I enjoyed was the guacamole, which was on my wife order, even though she asked for it not to be. Also asked for no cheese on my order, but it was still there also. Server even repeated the order back to us. The food was not very memorable. Flavor was very lacking. Staffing issues caused us to have to wait for our food and for bill.

I came here on a Wednesday night. The place looks like a dump, to be honest had i not been starving I would have walked out right away... 90s furniture, just horrible.
The place was fairly empty. There were maybe 2 or 3 tables with guests, yet my food took almost 45 minutes... then I ordered 1 beer. Food was ok. The only good thing about the experience. Looking at my bill they charged me close to $5 for a 16 oz glass of Dos Equis. I was not pleased... on top of everything the server was condescending to me and kept making remarks about how maybe I couldn’t afford it.
Not sure how this place

We had seven people and two dogs, looking for a dog friendly place to eat. Some reviewers really criticized the food but all seven dishes we ordered were very good (the guacamole Fresca was especially delicious) and the staff was indeed very friendly! Not sure they have a lot of dog visitors but they happily arranged the tables on the covered front patio for us. Really pleased with our experience!

This place is a hidden gem! Went there yesterday for the first time with my husband and the food was fantastic. Portions are huge! I ordered the Ranchero Special with chicken and shrimp. It also came with tortillas. My husband ordered the Vegetarian #5. Genesis was our waitress and she was kind and on point. I will be returning very soon. Found my new favorite Mexican restaurant. Also the salsa for the chips is PERFECT! Not hot at all it was just PERFECT. I wanna go again tonight for dinner! 😋

10+ for the service but food I’ll give a 5 or 4 out of a 10. I looked at other reviews, and feel bad giving them a 2 but I think these are paid reviews or I may be wrong. This is my honest review to other people like me. The service is great though. I ordered carne asada plate and a margarita for two people, spent around $60 dollars with tip.
