In 2012, Khoa and Lisa Nguyen wanted something of their own, something that they could be proud of. And so they set out to try and do something that was original and new, Thai and Japanese cuisine in Mooresville. Khoa has been in the restaurant business for over 15yrs, and Lisa grew up in the business, so their passion and experience help provide for an exceptional experience.

This was our first time at this restaurant. They only have take out because of the pandemic I guess. The staff was great and wonderful but food was nasty. We ordered yum seafood salad (yum talay), pad ga paow and Thai tea. First of all the Thai tea was nasty because the milk was bad. It was sour. My wife ask me to go back in to tell them but I was embarrassed. Then the yum seafood was not good at all. It tasted like they use the papaya salad sauce instead of real yum sauce. Last was pad ga paow, it was way too sweet. I hope they taste test everything before they sell these.

If this place was any better, I would not leave. Ever. The staff is wonderful and the food is outstanding! We have worked our way through most of the menu and have yet to be disappointed. The sushi menu is great, but there are some secret rolls if you ask for them. There is often a high demand for them, but the patience is worth it! Do yourself a favor and treat yourself with Phoenix!!

I wish I could give them 200stars!!! I’ve been going to This restaurant for YEARS! The quality of the food is INSANE! From the hot meats, to the sushi. My favorite place in Moorseville. Worth a drive from anywhere. The staff is friendly.. the food is awesome! Love it! A+++++ get the “Cosmo roll” lol.. it’s the best..

This place is awesome!! The food was amazingly delicious, our server was excellent. Good help is definitely hard to find though and I say that because the host tonight was really slow, he spoke very quietly so you could barely make out what he says and I noticed instead of asking people "can I help you" he would say "what are you waiting for". Like I said, good help is hard to find. I give 5 stars though because everyone else was I point and did a excellent job. Highly recommended!!!

We arrived at a very busy time on a Friday , which happens to fall on Valentine's weekend. The hostess told us the wait was around 25 minutes, we were seated in 15 minutes. Awesome! This is our first time eating here and we had heard wonderful things, we were not disappointed. The atmosphere was cozy even though they were super busy. The owner of the restraunt spoke to us a few times, and our server Dorothy was fantastic. She never seemed to busy to talk to us and laugh with us. Our food came out promptly , in the order it should. I don't even have the words to tell you how good our food was. Let

Phoenix is so delicious! The sushi is superb and the curry and pad Thai are perfectly balanced (and you can choose your level of heat. Hot is definitely hot.) I think Phoenix is better than South End restaurants - much more consistency in quality and flavor - and very reasonably priced.
The owner and staff are always working hard, end everyone is so welcoming and kind. I love this place!
My new favorite cocktail is the Hot Ginger Moscow Mule. I could just eat curry and drink Moscow mules forever!

Average quality food, great service, average interior, average location, average prices. Very average place to eat, in general. I had the Pad Thai and a Thai iced tea during this first visit. Iced tea was great. Pad Thai did not have the peanut and chili taste as per usual, it had a salty taste, was darker in color and had too much sauce per noodle. I ordered tofu on my pad thai, and was not offered an alternative to the chicken and rice soup that comes with the lunch meal. Lunch meals were just under $10/each, plus a $3 tea, so with tip a $15 lunch. Might try again, but would more likely try another
