Our team is here to help you. Our goal is to develop and foster a relationship with you and your pets. That means we want to know your names, we follow up on treatment plans, we want you and your pet to feel comfortable with your clinic experience, and we want to be here for you when you need us. Dr. Kimball Graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2006 and is joining us after working the last 2 years in Tigard and 8 years in sunny Florida.
Because Dr. Kimball missed basic things like Seasons, hiking and camping (or ANY outdoor activity that didn't result in the potential for heat stroke or fire ant bites) she moved herself, her husband and her 4 legged families (3 cats: Loki, Litmus, and Fozzie, and 2 dogs: Emmet and Waffles) to the Pacific Northwest.

I am the pet owner that hovers and questions everything and wants to know the why behind every decision. I'm the kind of client most vet offices take a deep sigh before talking to. Mt. Scott and their amazing team are always welcoming, compassionate, and knowledgeable. They don't begrudge me my anxiety and take amazing care of my critters. If you want quality care for you and your pets, this is the place to go.

I was recommended this clinic by neighbors. When I enquired as to whether or not they had experience with pregnant dogs they said they did and expressed excitement about my dogs puppies. I asked specifically if the day she was giving birth if I’d be able to call for help or bring her in. If that had that kind of availability in case of emergency. They claimed if they were open and we couldn’t make it to emergency vet they could help. Day of her birth I called couldn’t get a hold of anyone. They then claimed the didn’t have anyone on staff that day that was familiar with birthing dogs. I

I will start by saying I worked at a veterinary practice for almost a decade and as such, I am always able to take my pets there for a steep discount but it's located a good 45 min away from where I live now. To spare my sweet cat the stress, I wanted to find a local veterinary clinic for care. I was SO fortunate to have found Mt. Scott Animal Clinic. From the first time I called to set up the appointment, the staff was so kind and professional and that level of care just kept increasing the day of the appointment. They explained all services carefully and thoroughly and didn't push any services

We have been using this clinic for 13 years. We were always very satisfied with their services, however over the last year or two the prices have gone through the roof. They always want to add on anything they can to get more money, even mentioning that they want me to make more appointments for my other pets during our visit. Which really is just a phone consultation, as they are still not doing in person visits. Being a restaurant worker I find this ridiculous. People can go in the grocery store, bars and restaurants, literally everything else is open, including other vet clinics. Any medication

We were fortunate enough to get an appointment within a week when our other vet was booked out a few months and we are so happy with Mt Scott that they are now our primary vet for both of our elderly cats.
They are very responsive and provide updates every step of the appointment which is extremely helpful during covid when we are not allowed to occupany our pets. Also the staff is very kind and the prices are reasonable. Highly recommended!

Mt Scott Animal Clinic... some of them are good vets while others aren't. It is hard to trust a animal clinic that has a mix of bad apples and Brooke is one of them. She is careless and unprofessional, she doesn't take her profession seriously so in turn nobody should take this clinic seriously. For the sake of yourself and your pets well-being, DO NOT trust this clinic. There are far more qualified, caring and professional clinics in the surrounding area. Sad to see a once reliable and caring clinic lose business, but they don't deserve any business for how my recent experiences

Have been taking our dog and cat here for about 5 years. Our dog is 15 and needs arthritis medication. They asked us to pay $120-150 for a 30 day supply. Every other place we checked charges $60. In the last year, our dog keeps getting with the same thing over and over again. Everytime it happens its another $300-$500. They never recommended home remedies; just antibiotics which have side effects. They also treated our dog's black lipoma twice and said nothing could be done. They tried to aspirate it and couldn't drain it (well duh because it's not liquid, it's fat). They charge

The Veterinarians and staff at Mt Scott Animal Clinic provided care for my dog Buddy for close to 15 years. He visited countless times, and they provided him with excellent medical support regardless of the issue, large or small. They always seemed happy to see him and I think he enjoyed going as well! I'd easily recommend them to anyone looking for vet care in the SE Portland area that is competent, trustworthy, and compassionate.

New to the area and found Mt. Scott Animal Clinic online. So glad I did because even amidst a pandemic and curbside service, they managed to provide caring and detailed care for my cat. Dr. Eddy was so helpful and kind and the staff was amazing. Thank you! Echo feels much better and thanks you, too.

I took my two cats in for a routine check up and to get their vaccines and had such a disappointing experience. I was told there are new owners of this clinic and it shows. The vet told me both cats were fine, but that they should start eating wet food, and pushed the wet food they sell. They also told me to buy their flea medicine. I normally get flea medicine online as they are waaaay cheaper. I have never had issues with this or from other vets. They have a bogus policy saying they won't issues prescriptions for this and that I should buy flea medicine from them. They didn't tell me

This is the 1st clinic I have completely trusted with my dog who has had unfortunately bad experiences with other Vets due to her breed and being nervous. They are ALWAYS very honest with me with prices that actually make sense. I trust them with all 3 of my dogs and am not stressed out about care when they are there. Thank you for giving me faith in Vets again. <3 Quinn, Andromeda, & Trooper thank you as well!

MT. SCOTT ANIMAL CLINIC TRIED TO EXTORT ME FOR MY DOG'S HEART MEDICATION!
They have a bogus policy where they won't write rxs for Chewy/1800PetMeds/Allivet because of unsubstantiated claims that those suppliers sell counterfeit medications (Allivet where I have gotten my dog's heart medication for years has a .pharmacy certification). With this policy Mt. Scott tries to get you to buy meds from their pharmacy service. My dog's heart meds are 40% more expensive at their pharmacy, and are usually out of stock. I can't afford to buy from them even if they did have it in stock

It was hard to find a clinic that was taking new patients during this pandemic, when I called Mt.Scott they were so helpful and willing to get us in as soon as possible. I adopted my cat (Kitty) from an old roommate, I didn't know anything about his medical history. They were very helpful with explaining what he may/may not need. We had Erik help us, and he was super great and helpful! Dr.Kimball was the sweetest on the phone! Vet bills are pricey anywhere so I think what they charged us was fair. They put a lot of love and care into what they do and it shows! I am super appreciative of everyone

Worst service ever! I sent my husband with his dog Axel rod to the clinic for a exam to have the dog neutered, and 458.00 dollars later he came home. I took one look at that bill and called these crooks. They refunded our money for their suggestions that we didn't need or want.
Day of surgery I had to tell the crooks again he is there to be neutered nothing else they started out with 358.00 but after our conversation the bill was 211.00
I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. They are worse then jiffy lube trying to sell you things you don't need, and the customer service

We established care with Mt. Scott Animal Clinic when we got our first Boxer puppy in April. I have found them easy to schedule with and affordable when compared to other offices in the area. I have been impressed with quality of care by Dr. Kimball. Dr. Kimball is knowledgeable about the current research around best practices and takes time to answer my questions. All of the vet techs are amazing. Each time we go they take time to time to make sure our boy feels safe. Watching him run with joy to our vet tech today for a suture removal from his recent neuter was all the evidence I needed

Holy moly, I can't say enough good things about Mt. Scott Veterinary Clinic. They have always taken amazing care of our dog (whom we love like crazy) since she was a puppy. At age 6, she needed to get her teeth cleaned and a growth removed from her eyelid. Neal (give that man a raise) was incredibly gracious at explaining everything and answered all my questions. He made me feel at ease (I was more nervous than Lola) and was just great. The whole staff was super pro and they did a great job with what Lola needed. Our family can't thank them enough!!! Best vet fo sho. If we could give

After being a customer of Mt Scott vet for almost 7 years, with cats and dogs, today I cancelled all upcoming appointments. I really liked the old owner Dr Conradi. The new management is predatory and only cares about money. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, yet things just got worse instead of better. For almost a year now, my husband and I have been wondering why the vet has started to nickel and dime us. One medication was 300% higher than what my husband found online. We assumed it's difficult for all vet offices now and I'm willing to pay for my pets health and good

Been their customer nearly 3 years. In the beginning (when my pet had no issues) they were great. But now my senior cat has ongoing issues so I'm there more frequently.
The last few months they've made multiple mistakes.
*Repeated miscommunication with Walgreens about one of my cat's medications.
*Confusion and miscommunications between the staff and the doctors and me (the customer), resulting in a nearly 2 hour stay, just because the right hand never knew what the left hand was doing.
*Being blithe about those mistakes.
*And the last straw? They gave me the wrong medication

I have taken all my dogs to Drs. Conradi and Bussa for more than a decade, but since they retired and the clinic was bought out by a corporate chain, this place just hadn't been the same. The new vet I've seen was confusing and hard to understand with care instructions. Their automated email system sends weird notifications that aren't relevant.
It's time to move on, sadly.

Really struggling in 2019 and I am now looking for a new vet. Been bringing my two cats here for almost a decade and was absolutely thrilled with Dr Conradi and Dr Bussa. They were both caring, professional, and practical.
Have not been pleased since they left and today was the last straw. One of my cats has been on routine medication for most of his life. Last week his prescription refill was denied until after blood work. Took 20 minutes on the phone and two dropped calls to schedule that blood draw. I was on hold for a looooong time and then just...nothing. Might have been my phone's
