AM Accounting and Tax Services LLC was founded by owner, Alice Zaganczyk Peterson, MS, Certified Public Accountant in 1997. Since that time, we have grown our services to offer tax preparation and planning, small business accounting services, and individual and small business financial planning and coaching to aid our clients in taking charge of their financial situation.
Preparing your own tax return can be extremely difficult with today's complex tax code and may often leave you with more questions than answers. AM Accounting and Tax Services LLC has been preparing taxes and assisting clients with tax matters for over 25 years! These days, most people and small businesses use a professional tax preparer to assist with the preparation of taxes.
Finding small business affordable accounting solutions is not as easy as most people think. Since most small businesses cannot afford to have an in-house CPA, they end up outsourcing. This saves them money but also increases the length of time it takes to get answers to any information they may need.
We work with Individuals and Small Business in Financial Planning and Coaching to create healthy financial habits. Evaluate your current financial situation, identify strengths and weaknesses and help you meet your financial goals. We work with you to understand the importance of tracking income and expenses; set real, attainable goals; and create spending plans that hold you accountable.

Very unprofessional firm. They would not provide tax submission confirmation prior to paying invoice, which was odd. Even told us to pay the invoice and then we will provide them! We have always taken the invoice right off the refund with no problems. Since we (still) haven't received our refund from the IRS, made us question why we didn't get submission and confirmation information. Their online account feature has all the folders for these documents, but the firm elected not upload them for some reason? A soon as we received the information we paid immediately.

I’ve been coming to AM Accounting for about 5 years now. Every single person at the office has been beyond professional. I always receive a swift reply to questions and they always maximize my taxes. Thus far my wife and I have used AM Accounting for the past two years and the process each year has been smooth. Our taxes are fairly complicated and yet they are always completed in a thorough and timely manner. AM Accounting has been absolutely stellar for my companies. As a small business owner it's hard to keep up with all of my financials and even though I can be a tad bit unorganized Alice has always kept my accounting perfect. It seems they don't want me as a client. But I have no idea why. Getting them to respond to emails or to return calls in order to answer accounting questions or even set up appointments has been very difficult for me. I shouldn't have to work this hard in order to theoretically pay for services.
But what really gets me is the advice she gave several months ago (a few unresponded-to mails and phone calls
