I had a timing chain done 2 years ago .I was hearing some weird noise from my engine I took my pathfinder to a very reputable auto repair shop.They said it was my timing chain so they opened up the frontend of my motor .They told me there was no way my timing chain was ever done all my chain tensioner were broken inside my motor.The water pump was bad also which they said they did when timing was done ..Now I'm looking at $6000 repair I've also talked to other friends that got ripped off by them also ..Dont give them your $$ they should not be in business

I have never worked with a group of people more unprofessional in all of my years. Oddly, my FIRST experience with this business was pleasant. Marlene, the receptionist, was rude and even made the statement after I asked someone to explain the invoice and what work was completed "I'm not a mechanic, you can read it".
Their only method of payments are cash or card in person, which is what drew such an unpleasant experience as an agency was originally covering the cost.
Marlene went out of her way to tell me that "I've been burned before" implying that this payment

Im speechless, customer service isn't like this anymore. They told me to drive up and they would take care of my evac and recharge for my AC. Exceeded my expectations!! These guys are the real deal, skip the dealership and get over here ASAP especially for the new 1234 refrigerant needs.

The Lady receptionist is racist and gave priority to the white men behind us... We are brown people. We asked her when the mechanic will start working on our car and she yelled, "please stop asking me that question!" What the hell? We are two young girls who just came in in the hopes of getting our car checked out & fixed & this is the type of treatment we get? The most horrible place to have your car serviced. Please do not go here, go anywhere else but here.
My friend forgot her mask in the car & she overheard us and said "you do

This company his horrible, does not have access to a computer. Takes phone pics to send you an invoice. Then has your vehicle towed on the day the check gets to them from the corporate office because they don't have space. Didn't even call for the bus to be picked up. Horrible Horrible way to get business. Get online access, a copy printer and fax in one and don't tow a paying customers car because you run out of space in your little lot that is over crowded by cars that have been sitting there for a year.

Quick, Helpful Estimates
My "check engine" light came on last week, so I took car to shop. As always when Ive needed repairs, Kent Auto called within just a couple hours with estimate. Michael explained my options clearly and helped me prioritize repairs I will need in near future. I appreciate Bryan and his team.

Is this place getting ready to close? Had a vehicle in there for three (3) weeks, after already spending money to fix what kept making it stall and paying. So three weeks later after already (supposedly) repairing it, this is what happened in their care: Cracked the radiator, lost a hubcap, lost the key fob! And after paying an additional $1200 to get vehicle out of jail...had it sent to Jeff's Auto Repair in Renton! Going to go through entire list of the alleged repairs made and believe it...court is in the near future on these "less than competent" repair technicians. Two thumbs

I have to say I have mixed feelings about Kent Auto Repair at this point.
They serviced my Kia Spectra A/C system when it failed. It was spendy, around $500 but they replaced EVERYTHING in the whole system so all in all I left very satisfied. Had ice cold air ever since.
When I had them service my Hyundai Santa Fe, I was also pleased. They did a full fluid service. EVERYTHING. Brakes, power steering, oil, transmission, coolant, differential, etc. And they got it all done in one day.
I was concerned though when I serviced my oil next, the car was missing the copper crush washer that is usually

Kent Auto Repair is so nice, fast and they fixed our AC so it's great now! It's at a convenient location for people living in Renton or Kent. They had to lose a star just because the parking lot and outside building could use some work to make it look a little nicer. The chairs in the office to wait were nice and comfy. We'll definitely be back for all our auto needs.

I will happily give you 10 stars. I'm sorry you've had so many bad reviews. You fixed our Volvo semi truck's AC in a very short amount of time. We were dying of heat this past month and I'm so happy you were so affordable!!! Keep up the great work!! My husband and dad were very happy with your professionalism and knowledge of AC units!!!

It's pretty pathetic when a shop owner has to follow a customer for 2/1/2 years and continue pointing out the obvious. It's s sign of desperation. Business must really be that bad...business is closed until June 1. Hopefully you'll get a fresh start and figure it all out. I will be happy to remove my review if you pay back the $475 you stole. Maybe then with a little good faith on your part you just might be able to run an honest and reputable business. But for some reason I really doubt it. Good luck sport.

My car was stolen and recovered after 4 weeks. Stunk so bad from tabacco I had to drive it back from the tow company with my head out the window. The bozo at Kent Auto Repair said there is "No Way" to get the stink out. Said anyone who says they can is lying. I had it detailed and ozone treated overnight at Jim's Detail in Federal Way. SMELL GONE! Don't trust this company.

1.4.2019. I just got a copy of the police report KNT18-9556 the owner quotes in this review response. It's for his 'fired' employees. I'm not mentioned at all. Kent police decided there wasn't enough evidence to charge those former employees with anything and closed the case months ago. So there will be no sentencing hearing for me or anyone.
My credit card dispute was settle in September 2018 with Mr Brickson getting only 60% of what he charged me. Even the police says he's an angry abusive person.
Who's the con man and lying slimeball now Mr Brickson?

Sad to say, our experience here was not one I would repeat. Took daughter's car in. Paid over $100 for diagnostic. Had problems fixed ($1200+) Before daughter arrived home, the engine light came on. Due to work, we were unable to take car back by the shop for about a week. Thought owner would check problem, and he did AFTER CHARGING $100+ FOR ANOTHER DIAGNOSTIC!!!! We were told it took too long to return to the shop! Problem diagnosed - gas cap. Next time we'll get our diagnostic FREE at Auto Zone and FIND ANOTHER MECHANIC!!!!

Hook and Bait; Miss-leading Pricing...whatever you want to call it. Called Firestone and they said they'll charge $40 to check integrity of the cooling system before re-filling it. Called Kent Auto and they said we'll charge you $160 to refill the system. They ended up charging $160 to fill it and THEN tell us that the compressor is broken and we need to pay another $1,000 to fix that and then they'll refill the cooling agent free. How Shady is this!!! The compressor is $170-$200 and labor let's take it 60/hour for 3 hours; this wouldn't cost more than $500. Very tricky

This is the only place I'll take my truck from now on. Jason treated me with respect, answered all my questions, repaired my truck in a timely matter for being a drop in and was reasonably lower in their prices than other local repair shops. I recommend Kent Automobile to anyone looking for a trustworthy mechanic who won't try to sell you services you don't need.

If this review saves someone from doing business with Kent Auto Repair then I will be grateful. I took my girlfriends car to this place months ago to get the head gasket replaced. The pick up date kept getting pushed up but finally I got the car back. I couldn't leave however because the steering wheel wasn't moving. Apparently the power steering pump was broken now. My cousin fixed it. The engine then started having multiple problems. I talked to the owner and he said they would look at the car again. After bringing the car back I never saw the owner again. My car needed the dipstick removed from the oil container. Simple fix, and when it was finished, it worked well. However, the service I received was absolutely terrible.
We left my car with the mechanic who said he'd have it done before he left. They then closed without a single line of communication about what had been done to my car. We grabbed it after hours and drove it off the lot, only to have it smoke up and find that the oil container had been removed completely and there was no oil in my car.

First of all his place has poor customer service! How do you expect to run a successful business when customers don't have anything good to say about your services. Your work depends on the clientèle and you guys threatening and bad mouthing us just because you dont like what we have to say, is not the way to go.
