Excellent Vet and staff!!! I can't thank them enough for the wonderful care and attention to my kitty Elf. He had bleeding ingrown toenails and they took such amazing care of him. Their communication is wonderful and the curbside check-in checkout process was so easy!
highly recommend this clinic!!

My cat has been having a rough time with a urinary blockage. Seattle Humane teamed up with Greenwood AH. This was a crisis.
The condition was very stubborn. There was damage to his bladder. They kept him for an entire week while I was getting hints to prepare for potential loss. But he's still young. When I determined this is going to work out, it seemed that the vet mirrored this determination. He persisted more than he said he would. We are more grateful than I can express. He's now struggling with persistent infection. The vet has kept in touch and mailed medications as needed.

They care very much for their patients, they treat them each with recognition and sweet talk.

The veterinarian is extremely knowledgeable which means you avoid higher costs involved in unnecessary testing done by less experienced vets.

He treats my kitten from a whole body, mind + nervous system approach.. I'm pretty certain my kitten wouldn't be doing so well, so fast, had I taken him elsewhere.

Covid times update!

Yup, we still take our fur babies to Greenwood for their illnesses and check ups. They have adapted to Covid really well and follow Covid protocols including a mobile check in process that is efficient and timely. They have had quite an increase in business with everyone getting Covid pets, but they are staffed up to handle it. Hubs and I noticed check in and check out times are speedy, minimal wait times. It's a slightly different vibe now, but everyone is still super friendly (shout out to Ava behind the desk who still recognizes our two babies when we bring them in

Tl;dr; extremely slow service and subpar customer service. I get a different recommendation for services from different doctors.. feels a little dishonest?

First of all, the care given at this hospital is just fine. There's no malpractice and they seem to treat my pet with respect and kindness every time I visit. If you need a vet and this is the best option for you, that's not the worst thing in the world.

My pet has some digestion issues so we find ourselves at the vet at least a few times each year. It seems that this vet has really leaned into covid protocols to deliver a terrible

No stars. Zero. But I had to do atleast one to post this.
They flat out lied. I will now lose precious time. His life will now unnecessarily be cut short.
My Cooper was having issues with his nose. They took x rays of his nose. They said they see a foreign object in his nose. Not cancer. That their Doctor who was able to use a scope was out of the Country for a month. I call weeks later. The person who answered the phone actually told me they do not do scoping there. Months later I find I should have been referred to a specialist. The CANCER has now grown to the point of no return. I will lose

I highly recommend this vet clinic!! I was extremely nervous bringing my 15 year old kitty into the vet. All of the staff and doctors were so incredibly kind and understanding of my anxiety/concerns. They really went out of there way to ensure I was comfortable and confident with leaving my cat with them! The bill was pretty high but understandably so for Seattle prices and also for what my cat needed for treatment. She’s doing really well now and I’m so happy with how they took care of her! If you’re looking for a reliable place to take your fur babies, I highly recommend Greenwood!

I have the change my rating back to one star. I called multiple times, spent over 30 minutes on hold, got hung up on, and more while trying to have them transfer my cats prescription.

I then was promised that the prescription would be faxed over in 30 minutes. It never happened, and when I called back I was told they would do their best to get it in? This is my cats pain medication and she's gone without it for over 24 hours now because of this. She's 22 and has severe arthritis. I can't believe my cat has to suffer because the staff here cannot get it together.

I'll be changing

They’ll take your pet into a back room (and won’t allow you to join) - this caused a lot of unnecessary distress for my dog (for a routine check up). Based on the size of the operation and the number of people waiting for their dogs, it appears the vet comes in to do a very quick check up and then the animals are taken into a kennel in the back to wait for pick up.
Pros: this makes it easier to get seen, and maybe a little less expensive than some other area vets
Cons: distress for the animals, quick check ups unobserved by pet parents means mistakes could be made
Might be ok for routine

Came in with a dental emergency after being displaced by hurricane Ida. they were able to take care of my dogs abscessed teeth the same day and absolutely relived her pain. I appreciated the different financing options because emergency dental surgery was not cheap! staff was so nice to us during a really terrible time. she's doing better than ever.

I took my very sick cat in on Wednesday and was told that all they know is she is very sick but won't know with what until the lab work comes in on Friday. Received no call friday. I called them they said the labs are in but they can't tell me anything and will have the doctor call that night. No call. I called all day and left multiple messages on Saturday (they are open) and received no call. They are closed on Sundays. So now I have a sick cat, no information and am out $400 and need to take her to another emergency vet because this place is garbage.

I rarely review on Google but felt that the Greenwood team deserved one! Dr Raj and his team have given us (& the org we adopted from) so much help and support over the past year; I don’t know if our kidney disease pup would’ve made it without their help. Ready to treat, very helpful on the phone, straight with the facts, ready to commit to what it takes - it’s what we wanted and needed this time last year. Thank you Dr Raj and team!

We were introduced to Greenwood Animal Hospital through the organization that we adopted our cats from. After our first visit, we quickly realized we had found a special vets office. They don’t over charge, or have any hidden costs and are pretty quick with communication. We have had especially great interactions with Brittney; She gives great advice, very kind and really cares about our animals health. We are so happy we found this place!

This place is busy almost every time I go there. But I can understand why, these are the best vets I have encountered thus far. We just moved to the area a few months ago in the middle of covid and our pups needed care. When everyone was refusing to our dogs for their ear infections, this hospital was able to accommodate us on a very short notice. When we got there, the vet was thorough and direct and went over the exam and all the costs of tests and medications. I was very happy with the professionalism. The overall appointment took a little over an hour for both of my dogs and within a week they

This is the best vet hospital in Seattle. Dr. Raj and Dr. Tom are very professional and attentive. Both of them take the time to listen to my concerns and explain the treatment options in details. Their fees are much more reasonable than others in the neighborhood including cat dental cleanup ($350 vs $650+ from many others) and prescription cat food (better than petco and chewy). This is my go-to vet hospital for my three cats!

I had an okay experience with GAH. They are a bit unorganized. They got the birthdate of my pet wrong--even when I filled out the application. They are not the cheapest either. It seemed like the office visit prices fluctuate so much that sometimes I paid 20$ to 60$. The reception was ok, I scheduled a neuter but they never followed up until the day of the surgery. So I canceled it and went somewhere else. I wouldn't recommend this place just because their attention to detail is not there and I don't feel comfortable having my pet in that environment.

Took our 8 month old lab here for spaying and micro chipping because they work on a fixed fee basis, rather than a range from $500-$1000 like most others. That's so honorable and evidence that they know what they're doing. All went well, they followed up with texts and calls to check on our Mia, and made us feel they were there for us, not us for them.

Hopefully we won't ever need a vet again, ya right, but they'll be our first call if we do.

The place is a scam - end of the story.

U can see the pic i uploaded - this is my first invoice. I was sloppy and my dog has food poisoning, having some diarrhea but energy level was still high. As all the comments suggest, first they let me wait for an hour and a half lol. Then then the doc used less than 10min to check my dog and sounded like the end of the world, giving me two options: 1. Stay in the hospital for monitoring with all the meds in IV 2. Take all the Meds in the pics, as u can see, extremely extremely pricy for a little diarrhea. So I refused to pay the fee and but since the doc

Brought one of my cat's, Trash Cat, here almost a year ago to the day to be neutered because he was pretty feral when he came to us and I knew once I got him in the carrier, I was going to need to find a vet that could perform the operation same day. These guys were amazing.

Just got an email from them and one of their assistants, Brittney, reminding me it's time for a re-up on one of his vaccines. I remembered I had some other questions regarding vaccination and talked with the same assistant about next steps, what was necessary and not, etc. and she was super helpful and patient.

I waited for half an hour after my check-in for somebody to take my dog in. They told me the check up would take half an hour, I've been waiting for an hour and a half. I called 15 mins ago and they said they had an emergency and that the vet would call me in a few minutes - nothing yet.
I'm in the middle of a work day and would have appreciated notice if it was going to take this long. Disappointing.

DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMALS TO THIS VET.

We had a huge issue with this vet which ultimately jeopardized the health and well-being of our dog (thankfully we went to another vet the next day and our dog is fine).

There is a huge lack of communication between providers and owners. There are hidden fees and things done on our pet (not necessarily bad by any means but we're not agreed upon, disclosed, or discussed).

Our experience ended with a full refund from the vet. I hope others haven't had similar

We brought our dog in for shots, spaying, and microchip.
I understand things are different in the time of covid, but it felt like drive thru service. There was no consultation time, no discussions before or after, no follow thru. When we left we were handed a bag and told to read the email they'd sent re/after care.
Four days later I called because my dog had stopped eating and was having runny stools.....the doctor failed to call me back.

I didn't get the impression that they actually care about my animal or my experience, they just want to burn and churn patients and make as much
