During THAI MASSAGE our Certified Massage Therapist (CMT) uses extension, retraction and compression to help reduce stress, and improve flexibility and range of motion. Thai Massage can reduce muscle spasms and back pain, and has been shown to be useful in treating balance problems as well as migraine symptoms.
This is the best place around for massages! They take very good care of you from the moment you walk in the front door to the moment you leave. It's easy to book an appointment that fits your schedule and they always accept walk ins! and it's actually very affordable too. It's our goal to get our clients onto a massage table with a massage therapist on-hand within five minutes or less of your scheduled appointment time. My friends and I were looking to get massages and this place popped up so we decided to try it out! Everyone was so super nice and very attentive. As soon as you walk in you feel welcomed and comfortable. And then we started the 1 hour combination massage.... and wow I NEEDED that! The lady who did my massage somehow knew exactly the amount of pressure I needed and I honestly almost fell asleep. We even got to wait in the lobby area while our the rest of our friends had their massages and we had wonderful conversations with the front desk lady who was super sweet. This has been by far the best massage place my boyfriend and I have ever been to, and we have been to a lot of massage places. No place compares!!! This place is amazing. June and Yaya were amazing and gave us a wonderful experience for our couples massage! We are here for vacation and wish we could have them where we live! My husband and I decided last minute that we wanted massages. Now with it being a Saturday night in Gaslamp, I was not optimistic about finding a good place with availability for both of us at the same time. Do NOT believe the 5 star reviews at this place. My partner and I went to get couples massages and I got the owners wife for hot stone. Horrible experience. She left a couple times in the middle of the session to yell at some of her coworkers, the hot stones kept falling off my back and I had to keep asking her to readjust the pressure. She kept trying to do a thai massage when I specifically said no walking on my back please. It's like a thai massage is what she was comfortable doing so she kept trying to go back to that. Best massage I've ever had. I went for a deep tissue to help relieve pain from a shoulder injury years ago. Often, I go for a massage and it's just for pleasure. This time the masseuse understood that it was to help heal my body. It was more massage therapy and it was WELL worth the money! My boyfriend is going this weekend and I highly recommend you do too!

Had a couples massage and wow do I feel so much better. Spent the day before at Sea World carrying my toddler around so a massage was a must. Definitely did the trick. Had a kink in my neck that was bothering me for weeks -- gone!

First off, I'm at the end of my vacation here in Downtown San Diego. My back has been killing me for over a month, and I have been seeing a chiropractor with no relief. I knew at this point, I needed to find a masseuse. To my surprise, there was a Thai massage place minutes from my hotel and they were willing to take me in immediately. My back has been bothering me for 6 weeks so I decided to get the Thai Massage/Deep Tissue and I can honestly say that I am feeling 100% better and not tight anymore. Their massage technique is therapeutic and they used a combo of hot stones and Thai massage to relax my muscles and fix my tightness. I highly recommend this business!

I did not tip, my husband decided the payment and being the nice man he is he always tips. He/ we did not feel comfortable talking to you after what happened in those rooms. You as a business owner should've addressed it before we left like anyone other business man or woman would've done. Don't make us as customers feel like we are in the wrong, we wouldn't say this if it didn't happen. My husband couldn't even say one word about it until we left. My husband and I planned a couples massage but due to unforeseen events we could not make it. Jeff tried his best to accommodate us but unfortunately we still couldn't make it. I would definitely recommend Gaslamp Thai Massage Therapy just based on they're amazing customer service. We will reschedule our couples massage the next time we're in San Diego.

I can see why this place has great reviews! You walk in and already start to feel good. We were greeted by the owner, Jeff who had us fill out a form asking what type of massage we wanted and where our pain areas were.
This was unlike any massage I have received. I recommend yelpers to go with the flow and say yes to the hot stones! I haven't had a proper massage since COVID had started and was in much need of one. After my massage, I went back to my hotel, took the hottest shower I could take and took a nap. I woke up feeling brand NEW!

Wow. Wow. Wow. I could sing the praises of Yaya for the rest of 2020. This was my first experience with Thai massage AND deep tissue and while I'd like to chalk it up to my pain tolerance, I mostly want to give credit to Yaya for having such an instinctive touch. She knew exactly how hard to push and while I'm a little sore now, I know I'm going to feel like a new woman tomorrow. I almost want to drive to SD from LA just to have her work her magic on my back. The combination deep tissue/Thai massage literally healed my body. I am making an appointment the next time I visit SD! I recommend this place to anyone needing to de-stress, having chronic pain, or just wanting some down time.
The establishment was sanitized, all workers wore masks at all times, and I felt safe.
There is nice music playing in the background and essential oils for aromatherapy. Do be aware that if you go during the night time (especially weekends) party people hang around the gaslamp district, there was a gang of bikers outside blasting
