Set in a 19th century home, our casual interior and lively patio offer ways to relax and savor the unique beauty of historic downtown Grapevine. I randomly came here the other night with friends and had some of the best Mexican food I've experienced in a while. We started out with the guacamole appetizer to go with our chips, and it was a hit.
I had come here once after wrapping up a wine trail and my husband convinced me to give it a shot. Thank goodness he did! We have been going to Esparzas for 25 years, and just had Steve come to Ft Worth to cater our daughters Rehearsal dinner. Steve did a awesome job, just wonderful. They are the Best!

Visited this location on a Friday afternoon at 4pm.
They sat us at a table and no one ever came wait on us. I counted 5-6 people around the bar area 3 were waiting tables. I had to get up and ask the manager if we could be waited on. I wasn't happy having to do this.
After asking things were better.
Food was good. I had the taco salad with grilled chicken and my friend got the enchilada lunch plate. Place is always clean. Service is usually good. Not sure what happened this day. Will be back for sure.

Been here several times. It's just about the only Tex-Mex restaurant on/off Main St. in Grapevine. The patio here on a great weather day is very much the draw here, like bugs to a light!
The puffed taco is most likely my favorite food item there by far! The chips and salsa is very good, the salsa is served warm too, which is a plus I'm my book.
The Margaritas are always tasty, the Iceberg is my go to when I can't decide on a marg or a beer.
I suggest getting there early on Fridays & Saturdays, there will be a wait for sure. We arrived at about 6:40-6:45pm on a recent Saturday evening with a

We specifically went there because we had a guest who was gluten sensitive and they didn't disappoint! Kids had a great time and they provided a printed gluten free menu for guest to choose easily. Servers were attentive and food came without too long a wait even though they are already busy around 430pm on a Friday afternoon. Lot's to choose from and many families with little ones enjoying time together. Even had photographer on staff who offered to take pictures. And ample parking spaces in downtown Grapevine which is hard to find! 👍🏻

Ate lunch here…2 of us ordered a margarita on the rocks - they tasted like watered-down lemonade. When the manager came to our table to bring our food, we were asked if there was anything else we needed…? We said, “we’d like to return the margaritas… something is not right. They taste like margarita mix mixed with water.”The manager did not apologize for the quality or taste, just asked, “do you want something different?”
Food quality was also a 2.
I ordered a lunch item which came with 3 tostadas. One was smeared with guacamole and had an onion on top; one was better with beans

I was not very impressed with the food. The person working at the front that greeted me was not pleasant. Seemed rather bored of their job. The food was average. The chips and salsa were quite salty. The queso was OK. Nothing special. I had the cheese enchiladas with the Verde sauce. There was not much flavor. I also had a crispy beef taco and it was OK but just not a lot of flavor or anything that was unique. I went in with high expectations. I personally will not be going back.

Three stars because of the fun patio and service was pretty good. On a busy Friday night we were seated quickly. However the food was awful. We are from Houston and have amazing Mexican, but here - the queso was runny and not good. Even my kids wouldn’t eat it. I asked what food they were known for and the waitress said the brisket. I got the brisket tacos and my husband the enchiladas and it was SO dry! It was horrible we couldn’t even eat it. We had to leave asap and went down the street to Braums.
