Farrar's Bistro was recently awarded the Northwest Wine and Food Society 2021 Restaurant Reboot Award. Farrar's food is just as warm and inviting as it's atmosphere and service team. My wife and I came here to celebrate and we are glad we did! A great cozy atmosphere, not too stuffy or sprawling. The service was great, the food came quickly, the servers were all kind and helpful. We had the tomato bisque soup, which was hearty and delicious. Then we ordered the ribeye cut of the week, and the carbonara. It was so nice just enjoying delicious food, and not having to pretend it was better than it was. It was fantastic. The prices were totally reasonable. I can't think of any reason not to give it five stars! Excellent work!

Excellent service, outstanding food thats 'farm to table' fresh served in a warm family friendly atmosphere. The menus diverse choice of comfort food (meatloaf, pizza and salmon) with the full service bar, which rotates local brews on 11 taps, a distinctive wine list and spirits, has just as many options to compliment your dinner selection.

I have been coming here ever since they opened and have always enjoyed the customer service, the ambiance. and most of all the beautiful local and seasonal food choices. It has been expensive, but worth every penny due to the high end ingredients. The selection of mixed drinks are always fun and seasonal as well.
Today, however was the most disappointed that I have been.
The menu was cut severely, to save money, I was told. I can understand minimizing the number of items available when suffering financial difficulties, but the items cut out were the most popular dishes. It is no longer a "Bistro

My husband and I have been eating here for about 4 years but I refuse to go back after the last takeout order we had. We've been picking up takeout from them about once a month during the pandemic, partly because we liked them and to support them. Last time I ordered salmon which came with potatoes and asparagus. I hate asparagus and my husband can't have it so I asked to substitute the other veg, which they've done in the past. When my husband got home with the food I opened up mine and found a dry piece of salmon, no potatoes and extra asparagus. This meant I had very little dinner

Ordering form here was very disappointing. I have wanted to try this place for quite some time and was incredibly let down. I used the menu the business owner had uploaded on Yelp to place a pickup order over the phone. The first two things my wife tried to order they said they no longer had, and so she ordered the tequila lime shrimp. When I got there to pick it up they had my part of order correct but instead of the tequila lime shrimp they had it as a side of shrimp because they no longer had the tequila lime shrimp. My daughters and I come here regularly. We like to sit in the bar area. The bartender is super attentive. We ate there last Friday night and all three had the burger. By the time I left I had a stomachache and by late evening my daughters both got sick. All we can guess is that the meat they use is super rich for our tummies. We will be back but not sure we will eat a burger.

I was hanging out with my partner and we decided to put in an online order and pick up the food to try this place. I was blown away with the customer service skills when the manager called to check to make sure I had ordered was correct (I had ordered the salmon salad and was thinking it came with a filet of cooked salmon) and even went the extra mile to customize my order. When I went to retrieve my order the staff was very friendly and super nice.
My partner and I really enjoyed our flavorful food and will be coming back again!

The $16 SIDE salad I got is NOTHING like the picture on their website, and is certainly not a Shrimp Louie salad. The small salad I got is mostly lettuce. There is no bacon, no cheese, no cucumbers, no asparagus.
I have three green beans, two tomato wedges. Dressing is not on the side but plopped on top.
This was to be a special dinner for us, and now all we have is a small lettuce salad with a few bay shrimp.

Been here many times since they opened over the years. Foods always good. Now they have a great happy hour. So I'm more likely to come by. Why go anywhere when it's not happy hour? You're paying too much if you do. Great drink and beer selection. Little short staffed sometimes. Acoustics are LOUD. But what can you do? It's an old building (nice but old). Nice little local hangout. A little more intimate than the newer spots nearby.

The new menu introduces a bit of Asian Fusion to their choices. I had the Tuna Poke Appetizer which was presented nicely and was very good. The power steak bowl and polenta chicken bowls are also new additions to the menu and look awesome. As does the shrimp skewers. I had a Caesar salad with grilled salmon, another great dish. My wife had her typical go to...the chicken piccata. Everything was very good and I'm really glad they finally changed up their menu. It needed to be done. Definitely worth a try.

A tiny little parking lot, but we were able to grab one of the last spots. Stepped inside and the back door leads to the bar. We had to cut through the bar to the dining room to check-in.
We were seated quickly and reviewed the menu. A variety of dishes from comfort food (chicken pot pie/meatloaf) to pricier items (NY Strip Steak/Wild Caught Salmon).
For my entree:
Fettuccine Carbonara-parmesan cream sauce, basil, bacon & roasted tomato. Very good and pasta tasted
