Based on tour, not a resident. My favorite apartment layout I've ever seen for less than $2500 or more a month. (Looked at those for kicks) I also liked the staff on meeting and the community looked clean. It's in a louder part of town but super convenient and easy assess to Portland metro area. Not a negative review below that concerns me but the response to it. People are going to say negative things in a review more than they will positive. I take that with a grain of salt and always add a half start or so to reviews to consider. The fact that management/owners/whomever responded so personally

The lock on the garbage compactor broke right after I moved in and it's never been fixed in over a year. Ran into people going through the dumpsters at 7am a couple of times. The carpet was never cleaned before I moved in and my cat got fleas AFTER I moved in. The setup is like a shoe box with windows at both ends. Very dark inside. They keep the grounds nice but they're way too expensive for what you get.

So I've lived here for a year new management seems pretty decent until I went in to report some stuff being stolen off my back porch and her response was crime doesn't have an address and unfortunately you live on the corner there's two city blocks of apartments that are on the street now you would think she would send out an email letting the people that pay an ungodly amount of money to live in these subpar Apartments to let them know hey keep an eye on your things I guess not I sure did get an email about a lost cat though LOL

If you want a peaceful nice place to live, DO NOT live here. The management is very strict and unfriendly. Went without any maintenance for over 3 weeks this summer. Garbage containers overflowing, resident above me was loud and obnoxious. When brought to managements attention, they did nothing about it. Just kept asking me for pictures to prove it and kept telling me they had to do "due diligence" to get them out. Nothing was ever done for about a year. Very crappy place to live. But if you like structure and living under managements thumb then you might like it!

Hello All!
I just wanted to say I am going on my 2nd year here at Sunnyside Village Apartments! I enjoy this quiet apartment community. Aubrey (Office) and Danny (Maintenance) are just awesome!! These two are on top of their game and I frankly, can't say enough awesome things about them. They are here to help! The library and the gym are close by which is a plus. If you are a upstanding person, don't litter, mindful of others, and polite, we would love to have you be apart of this awesome community. Thank you!

The apartments are spacious and beautifully remodeled. The grounds have plenty of parking which is increasingly hard to find. Great pool area and the Happy Valley food cart pod across the street means we rarely have to cook!

Black mold, horrible managment, money hungry, they don't fix anything, they threatened about parking permits, they tow cars that shouldn't be towed, they don't help when something breaks, they have been under construction for a year, yard maintenance people threaten you and steal your stuff on your patio.they raise the rent all the time. They let any one rent from them. We had 7 people living in the apartment next to us doing drugs and partying all night and management turned us into the bad guys! If you value where you live don't rent from this place.

My roommates and I have been residents at Sunnyside Village for over a year. Recently, management has decided to require parking permits for residents. This is fair, as it seems there are quite a few non-residents parking here and it's causing certain areas to be crowded. Come to find out, they are only providing TWO parking passes per apartment although they have multiple THREE bedroom apartments.
Now my two roommates and I have to decide who is gets to park in the complex where each of us pay rent and who has to park 100 yards away on the street!! Every complex I've ever lived at has issued
