If you want to get in shape, going to the gym is only half the battle. For those who train on their own, it is very typical for efforts to fall short of expectations and end in discouragement. You may start up again and stop because you don't see the results you want to achieve. Fitness is a life style and it is my goal to put you on that path.
There is an exact science to fitness training. This is where the skills of a certified fitness trainer come into play. Based on your goals, I will design a highly effective program that will achieve the results you desire. The science of fitness training has made tremendous advancements in recent years and I can teach you how to be as effective as possible by devising a prescription and program that is specific to your needs.

Services
My gym is equipped with dumbbells, overhead cables, TRX straps, resistance bands, exercise balls, floor mats and a cycle. With these simple pieces of equipment we can work each muscle group in almost unlimited variations and actually have fun doing it. Using this equipment does require skill, and that's where a trainer comes into play.
There are a lot of misconceptions about resistance training and I've listed some of them below. But first, here is some background information on why we need to train. Starting in our mid-30s, we lose 1% of muscle mass every year. In addition, our metabolism changes so muscle is replaced with fat because our bodies no longer burn the amount calories they did when we were young.
The amount you pay is dependent on the program that works best for you. This will be determined during your no cost assessment. Most clients will train for two to three days per week for one hour. I encourage you to train for minimum of 12 weeks (the length of time required to see noticable results).

This is the first time I've ever had a personal trainer. Such a good decision! I've been training with Tom for about 4 months and the experience has exceeded my expectations! He set up a specific training plan that target the areas I was most concerned about, my arms and stomach. I feel so much stronger and confident! I can now wear tank tops without feeling insecure. Highly recommend.
