Dr. Spillers was born in Casper, Wyoming, where he spent his early childhood with his identical twin brother and younger sister. His family relocated to Reno, Nevada when he was 6 years old. After graduating high school he attended the University of Nevada, Reno and completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology, with a minor in Analytical-Organic Chemistry.

I had a dental Hygiene appointment today for teeth cleaning. The hygienists are always very thorough & pleasant! The office is always clean & they practice safety procedures to prevent the spread of Covid & other viruses. The dentist Dr. Spillers is always understanding & willing to work with me on the treatment plan. He has great bedside manners! The entire staff is great & very helpful! My husband & I have been coming to this office for years & we are so glad we found Summit Dental. Best Dentist office I have found in Vegas!

Dr. Spillers is a top notch surgeon. The staff is friendly, pleasant, funny, and above all courteous. The televisions on the ceiling along with one on the wall when your sitting up is the best idea heading into oral surgery. They hand you the remote too.

Came in for a cleaning and filling. Rachel took such great care of me. I have really sensitive gums and she made the visit as painless as possible. She was very diligent, careful and kind. The cavity filling procedure was equally smooth. Both my husband and I are clients and we couldn't be happier with the services and quality of care.

Overall amazing experience. Very organized and extremely courteous. They use an iPad for the medical forms! They were ready at my scheduled appointment time. X ray process was fast and painless. Cleaning was also fast and painless. Consultation with the dentist was very straightforward. Highly recommend Summit Dental!

If you have Dental Anxiety and delayed treatment but are too embarrassed by how far you let it go.. This is the dentist that will help. Barely any wait time. I was in the chair with xray complete before my appointment time as I had arrived 10 minutes early. Staff is super friendly. They really understand dental anxiety and hesitancy. I had to have two teeth adult extracted. There was no laundry list of possible cavities. He asked if I just wanted to focus on on quadrant with the current pain issue. I was pain free and on my way home in an hour!! What started as an emergency dentist will be my regular

Oh man one bad review will throw you off from a business for sure. I check Yelp before I go or try anything new. So of course I took a look at this page. Saw one bad review and was a little nervous.

Awesome front staff, I had issues with my insurance and they did everything they could to make it right. Heather my hygienist was awesome! Super friendly and honest. I didn't feel pressured to get things I knew I didn't need, I've had dentists push services and products I didn't need and they were great at identifying my needs only.

I called Summit dental because I was suffering from really bad teeth sensitivity. Holly, who was on the other end of the phone was super nice and understanding when I explained to her what was going on. She got me in the next day and my experience was great! Everyone was very nice and professional. Dr. Spillers was so understanding and caring when I told him what was going on. He's so down to earth and easy to talk to. Everyone made me feel so comfortable. I think I'm going to be in good hands here.

Dr. Spillers and his staff are fantastic! I typically hate going to the dentist and have been looking for a practice that I like and feel comfortable with for quite some time. I was not just a number and felt very cared for. Dr. Spillers took time to chat with me both casually and professionally. His entire staff was friendly and personable. It was easy to make an appointment and the office is a very comfortable environment. At the end of my appointment, I actually felt like I wanted to just stay and hang out.

Tried to get an approximate price for a simple denture reline. No dice, I was talking to an off site person, they only wanted to set up an appointment. I tried to tell them I was a low income Veteran and they then said they also have a financial coordinator, that alone tells you they are expensive. Tired of getting ripped off by greedy dentists that think more about money than your teeth, these dentists cost more than an attorney !!

THE BEST PLACE I HAVE EVER BEEN TO! I have the worst dental chair fear/anxiety and the team in this office worked like a well oiled machine to keep me calm a relaxed from the first phone call to booking my appointment, welcoming me, assisting and providing treatment for me, I was even offered nitrous (laughing gas) or conscious sedation (put me to sleep), they allowed my friend to hold my hand while they got me comfortable (I could even bring a comfort blanket).

After a good search and getting plenty of recommendations. I Ended up going with Summit Dental, as I was in pain they told me to come in right now., very nice office, nice staff, very professional and friendly, I was given a few options, given all the prices in advance, work was performed immediately. the doc is amazing, very gentle...never seen that before.
Overall I found the experience very positive and I'm to recommend Dr. Spilllar's office to all.
If I have to complain about something....I was separated from a nice chunk of change before noon...

Knowledgeable dentist, not heavy handed, friendly, and really listens to concerns. The staff is really funny, friendly, kind, and talented in what they do! I just vmoved here and loved my previous dentist but I'm really happy with this choice of Summit Dental. I had my teeth cleaned and a front tooth capped, it all turned out fabulous!

This practice is great! I've been coming here for my cleanings since Dr. Spillers has been here. A few months back he told me it was time to get my wisdom teeth removed. I pushed it off a month or two and suddenly realized he was right! I called and had an appointment that week. I never have to wait when I come in for each of my appointments and they know me first name basis. For as long as I'm in Las Vegas, this will always be my go to Dentist. Highly recommend!

I've been coming here for more than 4 years. Though there's been a change in dentist the transition was seamless. The support staff has remained the same and they always make you feel very welcome. They treat each individual patient with nothing but professional respect. The dental assistants and hygienist are all great people and is nice dealing with them.
They are always in time with getting you into a room for your appointment and start to working on you quickly. They also have kept up to date using the latest and newest technology available to improve the work done.

I have had many experiences with many dentists but none like at Summit Dental! im always treated kindly, never rushed or anything of that nature. Going to the dentist is never an exciting event; but Summit Dental takes away the typical dental visit nerves. They are truly the BEST dentist office in Las Vegas. My husband and I tried a few different places and fell in love with this office. Dr. Spillers is amazing, and the entire staff is friendly and accommodating. They don't make you feel like you are just "another patient", they make you feel welcome and as if they've known you your whole life.
