Lascari's Italian

Daughter got her first haircut nextdoor. We live in East Los so we never knew this place existed. Glad we got lunch there! I was raised in Pedro and I haven't had a sandwich or pizza this good unless I go to Pedro. This place is good! Fresh like Gulianos and bread to die for! We will be coming back!

Idk…I ordered a soup and large sandwich, and they were so dumb they staples an empty bag together, and delivered it to me. No one at the deli, nor the delivery guy noticed that the bag was freaking empty!! I had to drive all the way to Lascaris to get my sandwich.
For the price, the food just isn’t that good. I’ve tried many times, ordering different things, and it’s just not something to write home about, for me at least, anyways. Probably won’t eat there again…at least for a very long time…totally disappointing. I’m bummed!

I order from there catering menu, the price was very responsive for what I order.
I order for 50 people there Italian style sandwiches also some vegetarian sandwiches. It included a green salad, Pasta salad and all there condiments. It didn't included paper plates, forks it was my fault cause I took it for granted us that it was included with the sandwiches. They staff was very friendly and helpful. Most of the staff volunteered to help me out very nice of them.

I don't see all the whoop whoop. I ordered a BLT sandwich and paid $2 extra for avocado. It was the worst BLT I've ever had and the avocado was brown and tasted spoiled. I didn't even finish half before I tossed the whole thing. Too bad because the place gets rave reviews and I paid premium bucks for a bad sandwich. I'm sorry I couldn't give a better review. I wouldn't recommend the place to anyone.

Great Italian food not just deli items. We got the meat calzone and the Buffalo chips. You have to get the Buffalo chips which are like the crust of the pizza with seasonings. They are great with marinara dipping sauce.

First time ever ordering the sub sandwich, and I did so based on what I read from the reviews. I have to agree with the comments I read online that someone left stating that this sub was especially delicious. I noticed that the meats are sliced thin, are fresh, and there is the correct bread to meat ratio. The spumoni (Italian ice cream) I got was a little on the expensive side for what I paid for it, but it was also excellent. I also bought a slice of carrot cake for a friend and will follow up later as to how she enjoyed it. I plan to make another trip when I am in the mood for Lascari's again

Boy do I miss this place. Moved out of Whittier a year or so ago and have been craving their food for weeks now. My go to is the Submarine sandwich, Turkey ABC or pasta and have been in search of a good replacement ever since. While I have found decent pasta, I can’t seem to find a great sandwich with fresh baked bread and the cold cut blend of Lascari’s. Anyway, in town for an annual check up and had to see if they were open. My appt was early, so I called around 9:15 am and someone did pick up the phone. They took my order and asked when I wanted to pick it up to which I said right away.

First time at this place. Very nice spot and clean, I ordered fettuccine alfredo with chicken, mushrooms and green peas. Didn't taste good at all and the sauce was watery and bland. I will give this place 1 more try and order something else. I will have much less expectation. Plus a younger girl had attitude when serving us for some reason.

Looks like we found a little gem as we traveled through Whittier! Yummy sandwiches in a comfortable environment. The menu was extensive pizza, pasta, salads, and sandwiches! We had some super yummy homemade ice cream for dessert too! Wish we were closer to this place to come back and try more things!
