Services
We are a pet friendly apartment community! We are pleased to accept cats and dogs. The following non-traditional pets ARE allowed: Turtles, Non-poisonous frogs, Domestic hamsters, Hermit crabs, Gerbils, Small domesticated birds, and Domestic fish. Fees for these non-traditional acceptable pets may vary if applicable.

Advantages:
- Nice apartments.
- Good price (compared to those around it)
- Good place in Milpitas to live. (Near Walmart, airport, trains, restaurants, etc.)
- Indoor parking garage keeps my car clean.
- Washer & dryer included.
Disadvantages:
- My packages were being forwarded to the previous owner's parcel packaging. Literally... my stuff I buy on Amazon was being forwarded to the previous owner. The office team didn't care at all and took zero responsibility. I emailed them. No response. Had to walk in and one of the staff said "Well maybe I can ask the previous owner for the code?"

Improve your guest parking policy, improve your security staff/company, and improve your customer service from all staff (leasing office, maintenance, etc.) and you will see an improvement on your reviews. Your generic "oh please reach out to us" approach is not working, address customer's concerns individually. Residents obviously don't feel safe/comfortable enough to approach leasing staff.

I was super skeptical in trying out this place based on the reviews, but oh bouy the management STILL hasn’t changed !
First they told me it’s going to be a self guided tour, so I show up at the appointment time just to see the leasing office was closed. When I contacted the main leasing office, they said oh it’s actually virtual not self guided. Even as it may, I never got any text or email or call regarding the virtual tour too.
They apologized and scheduled another appointment for a virtual tour and guess what - no response from them yet.

I came to this property because of lower rent compared to other properties in this area but i think i have made a mistake. Since i moved in there were multiple car break ins, no timely response from mgmt, asked to add security cameras but no response, arrogant mgmt with lame excuses. I am giving one star just because of the apt layout, size and close proximity to essential needs.

Something is a lot fishy here.. I searched apartment on their website and filled online application form. I submitted application form with all required documents and paid ~$350. I scheduled appointment for next working day but no one called me. So I called after some time and got reply that unit you booked has waiting list so your application has been cancelled. They have other units available for higher price. How can you not honor the price which you offered. if that unit is not available then offer me similar unit for same price.

Location is good, accessibility is good. Quite a few incidents with parking and vehicle safety.
Staff is very rude and unprofessional. Staff needs more training and start being polite with the new renters.
Guest parking is a no no, it says that the vehicles will be towed but same cars sit there for months and the staff does nothing.

SCAM!!!!
I had applied for apartment in Ilara.
They charge you holding deposit before even leasing the apartment.
After hearing so many negative reviews from current residents I cancelled my application very next day via email. But even after 20 days I still haven’t heard back from Community Manager.
I have called the apartment almost every day but still Community manager is never available.
I see their comment on every google review " Please reach out to us at IlaraMGR@pinnacleliving.com" . I doubt if they even reply to these emails.

New update! after we lived in Ilara for almost 7 months.
Too noisy place! The construction near Ilara they work starts from 8 Am to 7PM and even you closed the window still can hear it loudly! If you need work from home don't choose this place.
The reason why we choose Ilara apt because the great location, 24hour gym, nice pool and good room layout. They are all true, expect the 24hour gym which we can't using due to the covid-19.

If you had a weak quality for sleep please don't choose Ilara or at least choose the room away from the main street!(South main street which only 20 feet

1. fire alarm goes off very often, it can wake you up at midnight. I had experienced 3 times in one week.
2. You can hear the very loud train sound around 11pm to 1am, it still can wake you up.
3. They charge monthly fee for first & second level parking, no guest parking.
4. Elevator and parking is always dirty.

New to the states and moved in here a couple of months ago. I'd recommend living here if you're still deciding. I would give 4.5-stars, as there are couple of things that are worth mentioning.
There is no grocery store within walking distance, however there are small "supply" cabinets in the apartment building where items can be purchased through an app.
The management office is fantastic. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful for all different types of issues. Not all resident notices are emailed (some printed and slipped into the door), which is kinda annoying for those of us
