Went to them for my tire to be aired up as well. They over aired up the tire and the tire blew up. I called BGI OF Indy who replaced my tire and fixed the lining all for $20 where as Gray Goat representative could not air my tire up in one day I had to leave it over night. When I tried to ride the bike after 3 peddles the tire blew out. They charged me $21.09 to PUT AIR IN A TIRE THAT THEY AIRED UP INCORRECTLY AND CAUSED IT TO BLOW OUT. I will NEVER RECOMMEND YOU ALL. This review is for Upland. It is a great little hidden gem inside Gray Goat. Only four taps, but they have a cooler full of different canned options. Ivan was awesome. Open to talk to and friendly.
It would be awesome if they were able to have more of Upland's brew, but space is an issue.
We aren't bikers, but that didn't matter. We came in, had a seat, and had a couple of drinks. It isn't a bar atmosphere, but it was good enough for an afternoon out on an adventure.

Went to get a tire inner tube replaced on my stand-up electric scooter. This is pretty much the only place we could find that even did this kind of service, and we were not disappointed! The staff clearly knew what they were doing, and they did a great job changing the tire. Despite being a bike shop, would definitely recommend for anyone having scooter problems.

What a great shop! I got the quarantine desire to get a bike and had been looking/researching but still wasn't quite sure what I wanted.

The Gray Goat Bicycle Company is a top notch bike shop that feels like a family run business. Their staff is all about selecting the right bike for you, fitting you for your bike, and do not charge extra for an initial setup if you need a wider seat, a one inch riser on the handlebars, etc. That's not typical for an large bicycle outfit in the Indy area.
In addition, the service dept. is excellent addressing any needs or maintenance that come up with your bike and work directly w/ the bike companies to come up w/ a solution. Furthermore, their warranty backing is complete and skillfully

Very impressed with this establishment for the following reasons
1. They treated my recreational bike as a 1st class bike.
2. I was given same day tire repair service
3. The technicians were as thorough on my bike as a pro bike
4. And while I waited they did the same for other walk-ins.
5. I would recommend taking family bikes here and get the kids back into the neighborhoods riding again.
Oh and it was unbelievably reasonable!

Along with two other reviews on this page I was a little off put by the customer service at this store. I am new to Indianapolis and gray goat is close to my office so I was considering using them as my main shop. This experience has pushed me away from this store especially since my local bike store back "home" was so incredibly interested in "me" when I first started going there.
I went in a few days ago looking to be purchase higher end cycling shoes since I have become much more interested in the sport. I got fit and the staff member who helped me was pretty knowledgeable

The few times that I have been in, the staff have been knowledgeable and very friendly. Recently went in for a fitting with Brian, and I can see where the staff get their direction. Brian was extremely nice and knowledgeable and helped me with the fitting of my bike to make it more comfortable. I would recommend Gray Goat Bicycle company to anyone looking to get the right bicycle for their riding style. The company does not try to upsell a bicycle that they know would not be appropriate for the rider.

This is a great store!!! I am a big guy thats trying to get into shape. This store was filled with very friendly knowledgable employees. The reason I went to the gray goat in the first place was to look for alternatives to running. Running was killing my feet for some reason however I noticed my knees or hips didn't hurt. ( Keep in mind I had already dropped $100 on shoes from the blue mile.) A salesman comes over and points out that my shoes are for people with neutral gates, but I over pronated when I walked in. I finally bought my bike. It took nearly 2 months of searching and we went to 8 (?) bike shops. AND I LOVE IT. I finally have a bike that fits my body and fits the kind of riding I want to do and that's thanks in no small part to the FREE custom fitting (with laser measurements!) that Gray Goat provides with every purchase.
