This is a fantastic gym. I've been a member at others around the country and this one stands out for its quality and the results I am getting. I've been at Go Fitness for a year and am training with Alex. I am impressed with the level of knowledge he and all the staff have. Beautiful renovated space, new equipment, innovative approaches, and a friendly, supportive atmosphere. Couldn't be happier.

Really happy I joined this gym. Great atmosphere and unique equipment/machines you wouldn't find at other gyms. I've been training with my trainer, Alex, for a little over a month and I'm really happy with the results I'm already seeing. Definitely recommend their gym and training services.

I have mixed feelings about this gym. I had a good coach and I think the coaches are for the most part well-intentioned. I enjoyed the classes, but the building where the classes are held is dirty and falling apart. I thought twice about each burpee as the floor needed a good vacuum and scrub. The ceiling was leaking and rather than getting it fixed week after week, the leak made the gym stink like vomit. Aside from those complaints, I enjoyed the classes and the times offered were pretty convenient.
The main gym's bathrooms leave plenty to be desired. I felt like I was in a CARPETED prison

Won't allow cancellation of a yearly contract unless you move 25 miles away. For perspective, if you live near their location in Grandview, you'd have to move to Delaware or Marysville in order to cancel. Westerville? Nope. Still have to keep your membership. Dublin? Nope. London? Nope. They trap you in annual agreements, don't recommend. Terrible customer service and predatory contracts.

Favorite gym I have tried!
I've been a member at GoFitness in Grandview for a few months now and never felt more comfortable at gym before. The staff learned my name within the first few days of me working out there and have made me feel very welcome. They often will ask what my plan for the gym is that day or how work was.
The gym is never crowded which is great! I have never had to wait for a machine or weights that I want to use. This makes it easy to get in and get out in as little as time as you need to.
My favorite part about GoFitness is the classes that they offer. The classes

I have been going to GO Fitness at the Grandview Location for about 2 years now, and I have never gone to a gym that I have loved as much as this one. They call you by name when you come in, they know when you have signed up for a class and hold you accountable if you haven’t been in for a few days. They PUSH you to the best of your ability and congratulate you on the little wins as well as the big wins. Their trainers are the nicest people and are very knowledgeable. They help you with your form first so you can learn to lift heavier. The variety of classes that they offer every day, all day

I was really disappointed with the lack of support from the staff from a customer standpoint. I was told I could pay a monthly fee and cancel at any time - then they came back and said their prices changed and they accidentally showed me the wrong price sheet. I was mislead about the monthly fee and about the required one year term. I was ready to sign up until they had no remorse for their mistake and were not willing to work with me on coming to an agreement that worked for us both. They clearly care about making money first and foremost. The locker room area is nice but the actual bathrooms

Big fan of this gym! If you're a fan of big box gyms with plenty of machines, then this little gem might not be your style. However, if you like small group fitness classes, want to learn proper lifting technique, and incorporate a better diet in your lifestyle, then the fabulous coaches at Go Fitness can help you do that! My personal favorite are the Fast Fit class; short 45-minute classes that incorporate cardio and strength. Plus, they're conveniently scheduled both before and after work, and also in the middle of the day (for those of us with alternative schedules). Additionally

As a college student, it's tough to pay for any form of personal training. However, my body needed to change and I decided to put my money toward this gym. At home in New York, I go to a personal training institute that is much cleaner, more effective, and serious in general. I signed up with Go Fitness with blank expectations and initially didn't judge their outdated equipment or uncleanliness.
However, as a college student, funds can be tight. During my first month with the gym, I was planning on canceling my membership, but waited until the last personal training session of the month

The upsides to this gym: it's not very busy, the clientele is fairly nice, the equipment is decent (though sometimes older) with some cool toys, and the classes are varied and affordable. The downsides: they will call you, constantly, to try to sell you packages or personal training. It's super annoying. It's pretty small, and if there's a class there really isn't any other space for stretching or ab work. The toilets in the women's locker room seem to be broken pretty regularly and there's no hot water. Hey, it's an old building in Grandview I guess.

I hate the gym.
It isn't their fault. I just hate working out and being at gyms in general. But, since finding Go Fitness I can at least say that I DO now go to a gym.
Memberships run around $40 a month (they have a few options). With a basic membership you get access to tier 1 & 2 classes for free -- think yoga, conditioning aerobics, things like that. You can pay for passes to the tougher classes like spinning. Plus, with each membership you get a free 30 minute session once a month with a trainer to do whatever you'd like. You can have a workout, figure out a nutritional plan

I had a membership with Go Fitness in 2011 and left solely because I didn't have to pay for a gym membership at my employer's fitness facility. Fast forward to today- I've got a new job, and five months of not working out under my belt (along with five extra pounds) and I decided it's time to search for a new gym. My new employer offers a discount membership at a big box gym that happened to have bought out another big box gym recently (ahem) but the reality is I won't enjoy working out there, or probably even go for that matter.

This gym is the best, absolutely best gym I've ever been a part of.
1. It's not Urban Active and isn't filled with pretentious d-bags who spent an hour getting ready to go workout. This gym isn't filled with girls in spandex who did their makeup before hitting the gym. This is real people, doing real work.
2. A monthly personal-training consultation is part of your membership fee. Each month, you can work with a trainer in a wide variety of ways.
3. It's low traffic. Unless you go between 4:30pm & 6p, you're not going to be running into people. It's doesn

I have been going to GO:Fitness for about 6 weeks and have had the best gym experience here. I have joined several gyms and always feel intimidated going to work out. Not at GO:Fitness.
The gym is split into 3 rooms: a cardio room, weight room, and a room for group classes. I like the set up of the gym because I don't feel like I'm working out in a fish bowl. Machines in the cardio room are facing away from each other making it easy to focus on my workout and not be distracted by others. The weight room has tons of free weights, great machine selection, and all the medicine balls

Friendly staff, clean facility, helpful trainers and no high pressure sales pitch from the trainers with every workout. They explain what your options are and let you decide what you want to pay for, but never make you uncomfortable. My trainer (Coach Rob) helped me lose 18 pounds and 11 inches in 6 weeks! I'll be with this gym as long as I live in Columbus. The staff is invested in helping clients achieve their goals. I am doing workouts I never imagined I could do! Classes are no-frills but incorporate EFFECTIVE functional training moves to get real results. I am more than willing

I have had great success with Go Fitness. I have been working out on and off with a trainer for a while and very happy (when I go). I do have some commitment issues, but over all I have averaged 3 workouts a week for the last 4 months and that is a big deal for me. I think the main reason I have gotten more consistant is I am finally getting results. I am not using boring equipment workouts and doing the same exercises all of the time. I am always challenged, motivated and really energized during my workouts. I have lost 17 lbs since Christmas and plan on working out with Brad until I
