Services
John is the founder of Kinitro Fitness and has a wealth of experience in the fitness industry. He has worked with a wide range of people from absolute beginners to D1 athletes. It is his belief that "fitness" is as much a mental construct as it is a physical one. In other words, the actual desire to get up and move is just as important as the act itself.
Recommended for both beginners and seasoned gym goers alike! As someone who had a bad relationship with gyms and working out from being a former athlete I would always DREAD going to the gym. My fiancé brought me to kinitro to try out and I have to say that this is the only gym that I miss going to when I’m not able to go. The staff is knowledgeable and so friendly! The over all atmosphere is light and fun and makes getting through a workout actually enjoyable!

I’ve always been kind of intimidated by gyms, but I feel right at home here. Classes are intimate enough to where the trainers work closely with you to make sure your form is correct, yet flexible enough to where you go at your own pace. Everyone (members & trainers) makes you feel welcome!

I attend weekly classes about 2 times a week that focuses on strength building and after 4 months I have noticed the most growth in my upper body. I had weak noddle arms that could barely tolerate hanging on a bar for a couple of seconds to being able to do banded pull ups and bench pressing weight I never thought I could lift. The trainers are very friendly and encourage you to push yourself. They also watch for proper form which goes a long way when your someone who lacks proprioception and has bad posture (aka me).
I used to be someone who avoided gyms and preferred to jogging over weightlifting

Last year, I was looking to lose weight for my wedding but I had issues with consistency and not knowing what to do in the gym. My older brother and his wife recommended Kinitro to me and I did a zoom group class as my first session. John almost killed me but I decided to join.
Pretty much the rest was history after that! I learned a great amount about weight lifting and nutrition from John, Julie and Vonida. They make you feel very comfortable and are very knowledgeable. The group classes are challenging in a good way and all the members are amazing as well!

It's such a great atmosphere. The trainers made me feel so welcome and the people there are some of the best you'll meet. Everyone is so encouraging and the training is always challenging in a fun way, love this place. I would recommend It to anyone who is looking for a great gym atmosphere that will make you excited to go every time !

First and foremost, if you're looking for innovative workouts tailored to your specific needs this is your gym! You can tell that the trainers here really want to get the best out of you and push you to your limits. Kinitro is a great gym with even better instructors. John the owner and primary trainer is generous with advice and the entire gym is very focused on helping you grow stronger while avoiding injury.

I highly recommend the gym if you are new to strength training or if you are an old hand. I never was bored with the workouts of the day and could always count on the trainers giving me a great work out.

Cool place to workout. I always do a drop in and do my own thing. Since I work at a gym I have a free membership but it’s always a nice change of scenery. When I go I usually see the class programs that they run. It’s organized for you so there’s not much thinking involved. I like that. They have a cool system set up to track yourself and always good music playing. Coaches are there to guide and encourage you if needed as well.

Amazing place to work out. The owner and instructors are not only incredibly knowledgeable but are also super nice, as is pretty much everyone who works out here. The classes are challenging but fun, and the boxing class on Sunday mornings is amazing!

Kinitro is unlike any other gym I have been to. I tried my first class in December 2017 due to recommendations and all the positive responses I saw from those who are members of the gym and I can honestly say, I loved it! I immediately signed up for their membership following my first class and, since then, the Kinitro family has helped me to… become stronger and more motivated than ever. Basically, they offer several classes, with Mondays and Thursdays being upper body days, Tuesday and Friday being lower body days, and Wednesday and Saturdays being more focused on core work and conditioning. Classes are offered the weekdays at 6:30,7:30, Noon, 5 and 6. I usually go to the 7:30 class since I have time to shower (they have one shower on site) and make it to work by nine.

Class sizes are small, with the morning classes typically 1-4 people so they are closer to personal training. The afternoon and lunch classes can be a little bigger, but they are never too big to cause any issues

I’ve been a member at a few different gyms but Kinitro Fitness by far has been the best. John and his knowledgeable staff will work with you to achieve your fitness goals. The facility and equipment is always clean and organized. I have throughly enjoyed my fitness journey at Kinitro as it has helped me get stronger physically and I’ve made some great friends along the way!

Love the one on one attention I get at this gym. They make sure you do it correctly with proper body posture to prevent hurting yourself. I am a novice and they work you up to build your endurance. Would recommend this place.

Gym and fun were never two words in close proximity to each other in my dictionary. But I'd say that going to the gym at Kinitro has been a fun experience in the past month and half. I signed up for the gym because a friend dared me to go to a gym for a month in exchange of a free dinner (yeah, that's how motivated I was). But at the end of the month, I voluntarily signed up for another month and upgraded my membership.

For y'all logical thinkers out there, I recommend this gym for the following reasons:

I'm not normally one to work out a lot, but the environment at this gym is so positive that it makes me want to come back. Unlike other gyms I've tried out and eventually stopped going to, Kinitro is a place where you'll come to recognize other folks on similar schedules to you. John clearly has an absolute passion for this stuff. He's always happy to help you out with your form, and he'll even go so far as to explain why you need to squat/lift/pushup in a specific way. For a beginner gym-goer, it felt great to have someone critique my form and make sure that I was getting

Looking for a gym that has intelligent and caring staff with a great family/friends oriented culture when working out? Look no further! Kinitro is as personable as it gets when it comes to working out but also feeling like you're at home.

I've been trying to make myself consistently go a gym for over 10 years. I just can't. I'm not motivated, I dislike working out, I don't feel knowledgeable enough to do stuff without hurting myself, and it's intimidating to work out with people who seem so much faster and stronger than you.

At Kinitro, the classes are structured in a way that you get personalized attention and adjustment, but with a group of people who are really supportive, fun, and dedicated. You actually find yourself looking forward to class because the people here are more of a community then

I was never a fan of the small gyms. I'd always gone to 24Hr or LaFitness but Kinitro really changed my mind. The bootcamp classes keep it interesting, it's always challenging, different and it's a total body workout. Of course there's also open gym if you want to do your own thing. For me personally, I've seen results in just a matter of 2-3 months vs. working out for 6+ months at 24 (and I used to have personal trainers working with me).
