I am definitely impressed with how nice and helpful the staff is here. Johnathan was great from beginning to end. He helped me through out the entire process and was very kind and patient answering all of my questions. I got a great deal on the place and it looks great!!! HONESTLY THE MOORS IS THE WORST PLACE TO LIVE. they claim that they screen everyone which is a LIE. all they do it take down names. the moors association does NOTHING to accommodate people during the holidays. the line for the north gate should be OPENED DURING HOLIDAYS. the workers in the clubhouse offices are TERRIBLE and have -3 brain cells. they charge you $100 for leaving a trash can out and then will TAKE your trash can until you pay the $100. THIS ASSOCIATION IS A SCAM. DO NOT MOVE ANYWHERE INTO THE MOORS.

I have been living at Latitudes for the past year. I really don't have much to complain. Our fridge broke and it was replaced that same day. They provide AC filters for you to replace them. You can pay rent online so i have never had to write them a check. When moving in, they only accept money orders, no checks. I have always felt safe here and feel comfortable at night walking around the area.
I have never had trouble finding parking close to my apartment when I get home from work. On weekends after 10pm it can get a little difficult to find a close parking space but nothing that is extremely

Stay way from this place or your life will be miserable. My father comes to visit my kids almost everyday for a couple of hours, and his car was towed after two warnings. I was told by security that he is not allowed to park in guess parking spaces since he comes too often...are you kidding me? This was backed up by management which makes me think these people all they care about is making easy money and harassing the people who live here. My fiancé and I have been tenants here for 4 years and I really wish that I could not even rate this property one star. The last few months to a year, have been horrendous mainly attributing our experience to the new management and staff over seeing the property. We are anxiously awaiting for our lease to end so that we can move elsewhere.
Our dishwasher machine has broken four times along with the washing machine which has caused extensive water damage to the property and was over looked for sometime until management finally decided to change the damaged carpet to one that does not match the

I have seen many comments and ratings on here that might be correct in some instances or unique cases. People cannot expect a 5-star community but then again it is not by any means a poor community or bad. Rude neighbors, loud dogs, other peoples trash is usually the about the people in the community and not the complex itself or the reflection of management. People will be nasty, loud and rude mostly anywhere on earth.
With that said I am very happy at Latitudes. I have noticed many changes in the management since I have moved and it is clear they are listening to residents and improving

I will just review the Moors in general because I lived there from 1999 until recently, although I didn't live in the Latitudes section so I can't really say much about that. There doesn't seem to be a place to review the Moors in general on yelp so I'll simply put my review here.
Anyway, the Moors itself isn't a bad place to live depending on whether you rent or own and who your neighbors are.
From my observations they seem to have stepped their game up with a few things compared to a few years ago...security is a bit tighter now because some pretty unsavory people used

Despite the reviews I'm still moving here. Sometimes when we are displeased with services we voice our gripes but when we are satisfied we rarely speak on it.
With that being sd, I'm already feeling some type of way with this Ruth chick. She confirmed something on the phone with me and now that I'm here, everything is different and she doesn't want to come out the office to address it. That's a coward move and I see early on she ain't bout what she be talkin bout.
I will say this, give me anything less that Heaven and you will receive HELL!!

These people discriminate towards children with special needs. My son is 9 years old with Autism. Yesterday they post a letter on my door saying I'll be evicted due to "obnoxious" behavior signed by Ruth Cobo the same person that is aware that i have a son with special needs. I've only been living there for a month and my son doesn't make any more noise than a typical developing child and is in bed by 8PM. So they accept pets which bark all day but if you have a disability that's uncontrollable they make your life a nightmare and theaten. Currently our case is in the

The fact that they have 1 large trash dispenser for all the apartments & none of the tenants know how to use the trash compactor makes a disgusting, foul sight during the weekends. Not to mention, smell. There is garbage piled up all weekend because no one throws it away properly. It's disgusting. Not until Monday morning when maintenance comes & cleans it up. It's a really gross problem.
My stay in the apartment was ok. The upgrades are cheap with low grade "stainless steel" appliances & fake granite counter tops. The carpet is quite cheap too.

DON'T MOVE HERE!! STAY AWAY!! We moved here in May 2012 and will be leaving as soon as our lease is up in July. Upon our arrival everything seemed great. Our leasing agent painted a perfect picture and unfortunately it worked. It wasn't until a couple weeks after when I noticed the huge cockroaches, multitude of ants, and mosquitos (more than likely from all the standing water in the stairwells) that also resided in the apartment. The pest control they send out is a joke.. And the office staff is rude and not helpful. The toilet in the master bath runs non stop despite several maintenance

It I could give no stars I would. Had the worse experience here trying to lease an apartment. Staff is clueless as to how to get things done in an efficient way. They make promises that they can never deliver on - this includes the manager. I told friends about my wanting to rent here and they told me to stay away. They warned me that the place was not what it used to be. Because of my experience I decided not to rent here.
