I've lived here many years & recently the service is horrible. I have a rusted tub that the company keeps sending the same vendor back to fix (4 times) , despite it continuing to rust as soon as he finishes each time. I understand the property is old but the least they can provide is something sanitary.

I love the community because it's homey. It's small and that is my number one value factor. Being from a big city I love small quiet communities. The customer service is excellent. Maintenance issues are addressed in a very timely manner. The location is optimal, close enough to everything but far enough not to be affected by traffic

I don’t recommended living here .. the apartment are outdated .. been living in my apt for almost 4 years bathroom, the walls haven’t been repainted, kitchen cabinet shelves are off , screen door is off the hinge, old AC system that barely works and make your electric bills extremely high, bathroom shower wall are cracking , outlets that are out of the walls , carpet haven’t been clean , windows dont open all the way and or closed and yes all of these problems had maintenance request. Also there is 1 garbage system for all Apartments which isn’t big enough or service enough that the garbage

I've lived in several apartment complexes before and this one is by far the best. The office staff is respectful. The maintenance guys are fantastic. The community is quiet for the most part. And I feel incredibly safe here, which is of the utmost importance as a single female. That said, these are older buildings, so you have to expect there to be some issues. For example, if you're a first floor tenant, you definitely hear the people above you walking around, but you get used to it after a while. Another example, I can hear everything going on in the breezeway even from my bedroom in the back

The main office has been forthcoming with helping us mitigate issues within the complex- those primarily being resident oriented.
The maintenance staff is courteous, timely, professional, and knowledgeable- they've been great.
New trash compactor is in, and due to it overflowing often, I'm sure management is working towards having it emptied more frequently throughout the week.
Overall, good value for the price. We've been here a year, and although we've had our differences at points, I'm confident that the new management team will do their best to fix issues.

I have lived in the Chimneys back in 2009 and currently the past two years. I have enjoyed living here with the location and the the affordability. The new management has been great getting the community involved and taking care of things. I will say the trash situation isn’t ideal, but they are doing the best they can. And the only complaint I have are the occasional neighbors who stand outside at 3am being too loud outside my windows while trying to sleep and waking up my baby, but that isn’t an apartment problem but the residents. I have renewed my lease and look forward to seeing the positive

This is a very good apartment that I recommend if you want to be around a lot of good areas of Greenville. I’m close to everything in Greenville like downtown etc. that is a nice perk. The buildings are old they are not brand new, I was aware of this when reading reviews about this place before I moved in. But they are small and quaint. The electric fireplace is a nice touch. The pool is nice and well kept. I don’t agree with some other reviews saying this is a place that is unsafe, I feel really safe actually. I don’t see a lot of out of the ordinary stuff going on.
