Went to the Jailhouse last night with great friends. Had the seafood trio (Walleye, Perch & Shrimp). Meal was fantastic, all fish were lightly breaded and served with marble bread and warm rolls. Service was fast and the dessert tray unbelievable (we had the pistastio tort, huge piece, which we split) and highly recommend it!

We had a party of 5; Three people in our party showed up before the other two of us and the woman at the host station when my friend checked in was rude to the point where she said she wouldn't go back up to talk to her again, so I did. She was terse, at best, and told us we needed to be seated now because they needed our table immediately after we were done (we were 15 minutes early for our reservation). Fine. Our waitress, once seated, was very friendly and prompt. Drinks were amazing. I ordered the larger filet. I ordered rare and it came back medium--not even medium rare. My friends

Kaylee out waitress was amazing. Everything she did was perfect. What a pleasure she was. And Justin the bartender was great. He could make a drink like nobody else. The best banana banshee drink I ever tasted. The food was wonderful. We will definately be back. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

NO CRAB LEGS! Seemed like a nice place but we were literally there for 3 hours. We went here for crab legs. after we waited 2 hours to be seated we were notified there was no crab legs but snow crab and king crab are on the menu. Ordered the Cowboy rib eye medium well. It came out rare and still mooing! Sent it back n told them to just make it well done then. Still came out medium rare bleeding all over the plate was not appetizing. Probably not somewhere Id go back to.

Jail House has been a family favorite for over 20 years! It's always the first spot my kids, now adults, have chosen for special events or birthday dinners! Just celebrated our daughter-in-law's 29th birthday at Jail House tonight, since it's her new favorite now too. Great cocktails, prime steaks and seafood, bbq ribs, & pasta! Something for everyone. Did I mention the giant dessert tray that makes it's way to every table to tempt you with cheesecakes, pies, and tortes, oh my! Absolutely amazing. a wonderful restaurant, inside of a barn down a back country road. the parking lot was packed (a good sign) but we were still seated immediately, even on a fish fry friday night. lots of staff who were all the absolute sweetest and always getting you just what you needed. get the pleasure platter appetizer, the duck won't disappoint. we also got some great drinks, the beer cheese soup, seafood scampi, and the cowboy steak with lobster. everything just melts in your mouth and there's plenty to take home. all the leftovers are packed up for you, and there's a mouthwatering

Just went here for a lobster tail special they have each Wednesday. Very prompt seating is you have a reservation. Inside is dark, rustic, and charming in that Wisconsin supper club kind of way. The old fashion cocktail was spot on. Everyone's meal was fine perfect. A few at the table had ribeyes bigger than their head! My lobster trails were cooked perfectly and extremely well priced. Our server was a delightful gal and I noticed all the servers were very hospitable with the tables near us. Genuine kind service matters these days. I will gladly pass this recommendation to those I know.

Got seated with my party of five at a tables for a party of four. Originally had a reservation for six ,one in our party cancelled. Many tables empty at that time . For $220 and automatic gratuity , no need to make it comfortable!! Waitress had problems with placement of dishes because of the small table.
I have been eating at jail house a long time ,it just seems a little bit less enjoyable . Just make it comfortable for your patrons.

Good dinner here. The waitresses all seemed to be very efficient and trained well. We couldn't remember the last time specials were fully explained allowing an easy choice. Our cocktails were well crafted as were our dinners and dessert. The only let down was our appetizer. It was underwhelming and not up to the rest of the experience. We'll definitely be back for another meal

Steak and salmon were both requested MR and the were MW. Tried to send them back and a bud girl brought them back to us and said " the manager says they are fine" we had No way to talk to the manager she (Beltney) was to busy. So we packed up our over done food, tipped heavily, and left.
I really enjoyed this place in the past and I think there are other restaurants with better managerial staff, so we will be going elsewhere .

Went to the Jail House Resteront for dinner had the Prime Rib awesome. It was cooked perfectly and it just melted in your mouth. Great flavor also had the garlic mashed potatoes also great flavor. The place was full good to see. And our waitress was very polite and gave us great service . Can't wait to go back and try something else off the menu.

We haven't been here , for a few years, but decided to go tonight, with my husband & his 91 year old mother. We asked for downstairs seating. We were seated immediately. The fish was the best we have had, in a long time. My husband's lobster mac & cheese was excellent & the service was top notch! We will be back, sooner than later!!! Thank you for your great customer service!

Excellent fish fry! The online menu could use some work. I called for clarification on the buffalo cheese curds (buffalo sauce not buffalo mozzarella) and the sampler platter (duck strips are deep fried and mushrooms are not stuffed) the curds could have used more buffalo but I like spicy. The walleye was a little fishy and neither fish fry came with lemon, however, they were still tasty. It's probably unimportant to most, but the tartar was a bit bland. I look forward to dining in and trying more menu items.
