Staff and neighbors are friendly BUT during the winter your apartment is freezing. They have no insulation. I'm stuck right now with a 300 dollar heating bill just from this month alone. I'm so disappointed and will not be renewing my lease. I shouldn't be freezing for the amount of money i pay to live here. BEWAREE!

My husband and I lived at Skyview for 2.5 years. We originally signed a 1.5 year lease, then resigned for another year. We were very satisfied with our 2 bed, 2 bathroom apartment. The gym was rarely crowded, and the front desk and maintenance staff were awesome!! We moved out because we bought a house. Our closing date overlapped with our lease by about 45 days. We asked if we could end our lease a month early and were pleasantly surprised when this request was approved. We saved a whole month's rent with no problem.
Overall we had a great experience during our 2.5 years in Rahway

Management is terrible! There is almost never anyone at the front desk. Having you sit around waiting on them to get your delivered package. Employees who work there will go into your apartment without any notice if they want. Neighbors smoke cigarettes or pot at their leisure, it will leak into your apartment. The management hasn't done anything about that. Listen to this review and all the others and just stay away from here! Over priced for a horribly ran apartment complex.

At first we enjoyed living there, then the hotel and restaurant were closed and rent went up! This took away from the ambiance that we were looking for. Not only that, we were told we got one free parking spot. Little did we know, we had to start paying after a year. Heating is horrible and expensive. Management is rude and difficult to work with. I would say the front desk is pleasant but that's about it. Stay away! Other buildings nearby to look at.

So here's what you need to know about Skyview. For the most part, you'll have no problems with your neighbors or most of the staff. NJ Trainsit is conveniently located across the street and there are some restaurants and stores in walking distance. However, buyer beware.
1. There's no insulation in the walls, your apartment will be freezing in the winter and your PSE&G bill will be exponentially high.
2. Your air conditioning and heat come out of the same unit.
3. People move out as quickly as they move in because management raises the rent after your first lease is up.
