While you'll feel like you're being pampered, our massage therapy is actually helping improve ailments such as sore joints and body pains and increase circulation. Have a Flexible Spending Account? After more than 3 months, Achtung! Body is open again! What you need to know when coming in for your appointment: Remember to bring a mask that you will be comfortable to wear during your massage therapy session. Should you need a new one, you can request one. When you arrive, please spray the bottom of your shoes with the Lysol disinfectant spray located at the front door.

I have been with Rick for awhile now. I try to see him once a month to relieve stress and soreness. I highly recommend Rick. He gives the most superior massage in San Diego, and I have been multiple places.
He has great package deals, and you can use your FSA. His location is very central, parking can be challenging so you'll need an extra 5-10 minutes.

This is a long overdue review! I've been a client of Rick's for about 3 years. He is professional, listens to your needs, and friendly. He has a great scheduling system and easy to book with. His treatment room is clean and the temperature is always good. He helped me get through some chronic health issues, the most recent was some kind of frozen shoulder type symptoms. I'm really grateful I found him and highly recommend his professional massage services!

This is probably the best massage I've ever had, and Rick will continue to be my go-to therapist from now on! I've tried out multiple places around the SD area through various Groupons, word-of-mouth, etc. - and never found a place I wanted to go back to until I came here.
Definitely worth every penny, and the specials that he offers regularly cannot be beat! If you have regular pain/knots like I do, do yourself a favor and go here!

I feel bad for leaving a review like this vice saying something in person but maybe I will do the latter when I am back in town. Regardless, I had a 120 min massage that my wife purchased for me a few weeks ago. I recently had pain in my shoulder and neck but through acupuncture, chiropractic sessions and numerous other massages the pain finally went away for the most part. Until....the massage with Rick. It's all back now and I haven't been able to move my head because of the pain in my neck for two days now. Again, I should have been more vocal about the discomfort during the session

Absolutely love Rick! I discovered him when looking for a good prenatal massage in the North Park area - He is awesome! I've been going to him for the past 2.5 years and every visit is great. I always leave refreshed and relaxed and I love how easy it is to make appointments online. He has great specials via email - sometimes up to 30-50% off! Can't beat it.

I've been coming to see Rick for at least a year, maybe longer. Rick is a very friendly, professional masseur. His studio is always very warm, clean, and inviting. It's very easy to schedule appointments online and parking (given the location) surprisingly has never been an issue. Rick is able to compensate for different levels of massage so don't be afraid he won't be able to accommodate as I've seen him go super light to almost painful deep tissue massage and Rick uses various massage techniques to ensure a unique massage every time.

I have been to massage therapists for chronic neck and back pain since an auto accident back in 2001. I have had good and bad therapists throughout the years and I was quite pleased to find Rick about 2 years ago. I have been extremely satisfied with his technique, his professionalism, and his wonderful personality. He is truly a gifted healer with hands of gold! And the music he has playing softly in the background never fails to put me in a trance like state of complete relaxation. Rick continues to be my go-to massage therapist. It's easy to schedule appointments with him online and he also encourages me to text him if I can't find an appointment soon enough so that he can let me know of cancellations. That's customer service! :)

I have been going to see Rick for several months now. I enjoy going to Rick for several reasons. He is located only a few miles away from my house and I can usually schedule an appt within a week of when I check online. He offers evening and weekend times which are my only options for massages due to my work schedule. Prior to each massage he is thorough about discussing if anything has been bothering you or to follow up on an issue you may have been having. I always end up leaving my appointment feeling much more relaxed and not as a giant knot! Give Rick a try.. you won't regret it!

Only Rick and one other massage therapist get to touch my back! I've gone to Rick for about three years. His style seems more like physical therapy (which I've had in the past) and is just as effective in loosening my persistently tight lower back. I never had a leg stretch to work the lower back from a massage therapist before, but now I won't leave without one! I just had my 2nd massage with Rick and I have to say that he is truly amazing.
There's something very artistic about his movements. He is really into what he's doing in a good, present way, not a creepy way :)
He's a nice guy, and has his massage room in a cute shop on Ray Street. There's a parking lot right around the corner.

For providing a soothing massage and being a nice guy, this place gets 5 stars no doubt. However, I rate objectively for whatever type of business it is, from a 76 gas station to The French Laundry. 5 stars are reserved for places like The Bazaar by Jose Andres or $$$$ restaurants in Napa that change your fork after every bite.
At any rate, Rick is an awesome fellow with a lot to share. If your body aches for some reason, I wouldn't hesitate coming by here. He was gentle yet applied firmness when/where necessary. The price he charges is fair. I like how he offers water in a normal glass cup

Absolutely amazing! Rick's technique is perfect and his hands are magic. Seriously. Not only does he listen to you, but he provides feedback after your massage. Last time he gave me stretches to do for my tight neck and shoulder and they really work.
Today I saw him after being in a car accident and while I'm still a little banged up, I feel so much better than when I walked in.
