Nick taught a great series of classes. He is a very knowledgeable and passionate instructor. He really wants the best for every student and is very good at working with whatever their limitations are. He knows a lot about Eastern martial arts, entertainment techniques, and classical Western Fitness and he puts it all together in a highly interesting, amusing, never boring class. Thanks Nick, I look forward to more classes with you. My husband's back issues were always much better after class, and my shoulder flexibility and strength was greatly improved.

I've had Nick as my trainer for almost two years , and I have seen tremendous improvement in my physical strength, flexibility, and overall fitness level. Nick does a great job focusing on using the correct form and pacing instead of mindlessly lifting a ton of weight to avoid unnecessary injuries or stress. In addition, Nick has tailored the workout for my specific needs so that I can work specifically on improving my weaknesses. Overall, I would highly recommend Nick for anyone looking for a personal fitness trainer and wants to focus on power/weight lifting but also yoga and flexibility

I've been a yoga student of Nick's for about 5 years, and from the first class I experienced, I knew this guy was no run-of-the-mill yoga instructor. No one I know has a greater command of a working knowledge of human anatomy, and through a unique blend of Western and Eastern perspectives Nick brings an unparalleled caliber of instruction to the mat. I have worked with Nick on and off for several years. I am not a young person but I try to stay active and in good shape. Having had back and disc problem s from all my years belly dancing, I realized that most of my injuries were do to improper form. Nick is amazing at recognizing your problems and correcting them. This allows you to continue and perform a more active lifestyle. I highly recommend his talent and expertise. It's so much better than back surgery.

Nick is a great trainer and an equally amazing person. I've known Nick for over 5 years and every time I enter his class, I'm always surprised at how fun and interesting he makes them. I've been training with Nick for a year and have been constantly impressed by the breadth and depth of his knowledge and experience. My routine covers strength training (weights), functional training (yoga, acro yoga, handstands, performing arts, etc.), dynamic stretching, and corrective exercises. Not only does Nick has an extensive repertoire of exercises within each category, but he builds the sequence progressively to facilitate correct form and helps me slowly build up strength and confidence. Injuries? Chronic pain? Call Nick first. Being an aerialist, yogi, dancer, snowboarder and runner, I tended to get injured or have some kind of minor pain somewhat often, but what Nick did in a few personal training sessions, helped me more than trying to "let it heal" or figuring it out on my own for MONTHS. Nick was able to help me more than any other physical therapist could. Because of his help I was able to recover from my snapping hip syndrome. My chiropractor noticed the differences right away after I started doing the exercises nick prescribed. I'd highly recommend him if you are tired of medical "professionals" who seem so disconnected to what they are helping you with. Nick explains everything thoroughly and gives you the knowledge tools to understand your body and to determine what the best training strategies are for you.

I found Nick at a yoga class at one of the larger chain gyms in Sorrento Valley. Even in my first class with him I knew that he was a gem. I liked that he was not afraid to think outside of the box and teach some different techniques outside of your basic gym vinyasa yoga poses.
