Sweet Mango

We love Sweet Mango! This place has delicious Asian cuisine- trust me, I am from Hong Kong and am a tough critic. I regularly come here and am always thrilled with the food and experience.

This is our favorite Asian fusion restaurant. The owners are so sweet and the food is outstanding. Best Asian fushion in CT!!

Best place for lunch in the Southington area. Sushi lunch special is the perfect size. Great classic rolls and the hibachi lunch is more than enough food for a meal.

This restaurant is now the only place my husband and I go for Thai. Always good, and beautiful presentation. We went there Christmas Eve, and I was pleased that they had soft Christmas carol instrumentals playing overhead. I thought that was very thoughtful of them, and it really added something to our experience.

Delicious sushi and sashimi. But more importantly we loved the Kani salad. It had mango and we asked for avacado on top it was not many places around here make it like that. We were very pleased

Ordered and was told will take 30 minutes... waited another 30-40 minutes in the restaurant with 10 other people

Steak hibachi came out cold but was cooked perfectly.

Have been dining here since it opened... Service can be spotty... this restaurant has built a loyal following and is very busy. Is pretty good in a pinch no longer my go to

I had a sudden craving for sushi and have driven by Sweet Mango a few times while in Southington. After a long day of work, and not wanting to cook dinner, I picked up takeout for my boyfriend and I. He got the chicken hibachi. The woman who took my order over the phone was so sweet and accommodating. My boyfriend doesn't like mushroom soup, so she gave us double salad with his meal instead. I ordered the Ichiban salad and some sushi rolls. The mango in the salad was so fresh and the rolls were perfectly made. I will definitely be eating here again.

This was my first time here . I must say I expected something completely different. A bigger restaurant and off Queen St in southington. When I parked it was this small restaurant off the Main Street (west st) but people were coming to pick up orders and there was Customers inside enjoying lunch.

Service was very good and fast! Waitress constantly was coming by to fill up our water. And the restaurant was clean.

Lunch is a great deal and the portions for the most part are reasonable. I'd avoid the tempura bento for lunch as u only get 2 shrimp but the salmon bento or sashimi are very nice deals for the meal. Fish seems fresh and overall nice , quick service.

Stopped by here while traveling for work. I did not have high expectations looking for Thai food in a small town, but they still managed to disappoint. 40 min. wait for my food, unfriendly staff, and Pad Thai that half resembled one and way too tart deserves only one star.

I do badly wanted to like this restaurant. It got good reviews and was recommended to us from a local. It started off great. The server was attentive but it went downhill from there. We waited as we watched other tables get there sushi. It took about an hour after we got our appetizer for our sushi to come and only our first order for my husband and I arrived. We had to wait another 10 minutes for the order for my children. And we had to flag the server down so she could take our sushi order. When we finally got to eat, the sushi was just ok. It did not wow me. I think a score of 3 is a bit too

The sushi here was very good and the drinks were tasty as well. We got the Crazy roll which had asparagus which was a refreshing and interesting crunch in each bite, I do recommend it. We also got the Angry Dragon roll, Fallen Angel roll, and a regular Philadelphia roll. All of them were really well made, delicious, and had a great presentation.

The staff was very nice and attentive, but perhaps a tad too overbearing at times.

The location is good with lots of parking.

Great sushi the best around. A total train wreck to order take out on a Friday night! 2 hour plus wait I ordered at 7:15 m for a 8:26 pick up it's now 9:00 pm and I am still waiting. On top of that I added a tip on take out and the doubled it when I went to go pay. Won't be coming back anytime soon especially on a Friday. What a joke.

Really great food and service! We went here on a whim on our way home and I'm so glad we stopped-the sushi was super fresh and tasty, the gyoza was delicious and not greasy, and the yellow curry was the perfect balance. I highly recommend the French Dragon roll and the pork gyoza.
Also, normally when you go to a restaurant, they don't refill your drink or check on you-we've never had such attentive service at any establishment.
We'll definitely be back!

Having recently moved to southington, we were looking for a new sushi take out spot and I think we just found a new favorite! Not only was the sushi fresh and delicious, they were very nice and timely when we came to pick up. All the staff was wearing masks and the chefs were wearing gloves as well, taking extra precautions. One of the people in our party has a severe nut and avocado allergy, and they were very diligent in marking the container with her sushi, placing it separate from the rest and marking it "nut/avocado allergy."
