Somewhere in Bangkok is an authentic Thai Restaurant that presents its customers with traditional Thai dishes, pleasant dining atmosphere, and a friendly staff. We are a family owned restaurant run by Head Chef Song Siboriboun and myself, Chanya Siboriboun. My dream has always been to open up an authentic Thai food restaurant.
We strive to bring you authentic Thai cuisine without having to pay for the expensive flight to Thailand. One of the major factors to our success is our good team work. Our team tries our best to prepare our dishes as close to the authentic Thai taste as possible, even though we lack some of the ingredients here in the U.S. I train my staff to cook from the heart and to not cook solely for the paycheck.

Thai food has become the most popular exotic cuisine in the world. Our food is designed to offer a combination of flavors: sweet, sour, hot, salty, and bitter. These unique flavors depend on special ingredients native to Thai Food: Cilantro, (Pak Chee) leaf and root, Lemon Grass (Trakai), Galanger root (Kar), Kaffir Lime leaves (Bai Ma Grood), Ginger (King) and Hot Chili (Prik Kee Nu).
Somewhere in Bangkok has been honored by Celebration Media, U.S. (CMUS) as one of its 2018 Talk of the Town Award Recipients in the category of top restaurants. This is the ninth year CMUS has honored companies with the prestigious Talk of the Town Awards. The Talk of the Town Awards recognize a host of businesses and professionals who have been noted by their customers through multiple websites for their excellent customer service.

This is a takeout only review - and to be fair I think this is closer to 3.5 stars than three. We ordered the Siam calamari as an appetizer, which comes with pineapple and a sweet chili sauce. The pieces were thick and chewy, the batter was fairly flavorless, and the pineapple made the fried layer soggy (perhaps it should be served on the side for takeout). The pad ke mao (drunken noodles) was overall tasty and nicely seasoned, but the tofu tasted hard and was mainly inedible, likely made earlier and simply warmed for the dish. Some of the noodles were burned in the cooking process - not a big

We had an excellent experience at Somewhere in Bangkok this evening. We walked into a lovely restaurant with kind, friendly staff. Lots of little touches everywhere that really elevated the experience. Fresh flowers on the table. Beautifully decorated bathroom. Surprisingly attractive uniforms for the servers. Unique drink offerings (incredible ginger ale )...
As soon as I walked in I headed straight for their pastry case filled with house-made cakes and macarons. I was lucky enough to snag the last slice of crepe cake which was delicious, and artfully presented.
Our meal was very good, very

Overall: Authentic to the core
Ambience: I have been coming here since 2010 and the place is always busy, during lunch or dinners. I don't see as much family dining as I see friends and first dates here.
Food: Tons of options from noodles to soups to currys and chef specialities to choose from! I have tried their Red curry, Yellow curry, Drunken noodle, Pad see Yew, Queen St noodle, Lad Na, Chicken got mad and a few other items. I like their drunken noodles the best, and curries a close second. I didn't like their Queen St noodle or Lad Na.
Drinks: I have had their Thai iced tea and

This was our first time there. Very quaint place. We were recommended by a friend to try it.
When we arrived, we were seated promptly. A girl came over and asked us if we wanted the boba tea menu and we said no but she didn't take our drink order. We ordered our food and apps. Drinks were forgotten and apps took 45 minutes to come out . Service was very slow and service was not attentive however food was good. If it wasn't for the friendliness , we probably would have gotten up and left

Sheeiitttt, I was so hungry (shocker ) after a trampoline park day with my nieces. My fav food is Thai food or all things asian food so I chose this restaurant to grub and man was it a good choice, not only was this spot clean and adorable but the staff was just fabulous they were all very sweet and inviting. I got two apps and sorry I didn't take pics cause I inhaled it all like my dogs inhale the food filled air on thanksgiving BUT i ordered the Shumai (correct my spelling if I'm wrong) and their take on the Crab ragoon appetizer, so I like to think of myself as crab ragoon connoisseur

We have been eating here for many years, and return for many reasons. The food is consistently good, having tried several things on the menu and never been disappointed! I ordered through DoorDash recently and when there was an issue with my order they took care of it right away! The service is also very good, friendly and helpful. Lots of gluten free options as well.

"Great Thai is Somewhere Else"
The food and service of a great Thai restaurant is somewhere, but it's not at Somewhere in Bangkok.
We were seated within a few minutes in a very bright dining room. It was like a 24 hour diner brightness. Then we waited....and waited some more. Our waitress finally came over and wanted to take our order. She hadn't even brought us menus yet. Ahh no I'm not scanning a QR code to look at the menu from your website on my cell screen when I clearly saw menus at the front door.
So we finally placed our orders from the "handheld" menus

I've always heard such good about this restaurant and was excited to finally try it. Unfortunately I was a little puzzled when looking for the "wow" factor that gave this nice little restaurant in the middle of an auto repair lot over 250+ reviews and a very positive rating on Yelp.
My first visit was good but nothing too special. I'm wondering what this hype was all about. Their drunken noodles were good! Nothing else I could say. When I ate it with my girlfriend, we both took the first bite and made no eye-contact and just said "yeah it's good". But usually

Cute interior, bangin' food. A little pricey, I ordered the yellow curry. Normally I'll have enough leftovers from a meal for lunch the next day, but this was a smaller portion so no leftovers for me. The curry was great, flavorful and not too spicy.
I'm very excited to try their brunch, they will start a brunch menu soon and our waiter explained that it will be familiar brunch foods with a twist.
I came with a party of 4 on a Friday evening, there was plenty of seating and we didn't have to wait to be served. They seem to have a lot of great dessert options too, but we
