Fit is a wellness/fitness environment based on, not only, the immeasurable physical benefits of exercise but also the wonderful mental and spiritual aspects generated from the movement of the body and taking care of one's SELF! Fit. is the vision of Laura Minor, who has worked in the fitness industry for over 12 years.

Located in the wonderful neighborhood of South Broad Ripple, just feet from the Monon Trail, is an inviting and motivating space. This show features Indianapolis based author John Green (who wrote The NY Times Best Seller "Fault in our Stars"), and his best friend Chris Waters. They embark on a 100 day fitness and wellness journey to test their limits and expand their horizons.

Laura Minor, owner of So. Be. Fit., earned her Master's Degree in Exercise Physiology from Indiana University, and also holds the Gold Standard American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Personal Training Certification. Read Laura's interview with ACSM. Much to the public's surprise, there is no official "law" determining who can call themselves a Personal Trainer.
You will experience multiple types of equipment for a full body workout that will be fun and challenging. The instructor will lead you through a timed circuit style incorporating 10-15 stations with equipment such as trx straps, medicine balls, kettlebells etc. This class is open to all levels of fitness ready to take it to the next level!
Laura is the founder and owner of So. Be. Fit. She earned her Master's Degree in Exercise Physiology from Indiana University, and also holds the Gold Standard American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Personal Training Certification. Laura saw a gap in the fitness community, and that was her inspiration for opening So.
You can either purchase a single session/class at a time, or you may purchase a punch card of 10 sessions/classes which saves you some money overall, and the hassle of paying each time! We keep the card and track the sessions for you.

Sure! Laura would like for you to sign up for a Fitness Consultation with her before beginning classes/training, so that you and her can meet and get an idea of goals, personal history, etc.but it is not required; just highly recommended.The classes are adaptable for beginners through more experienced exercisers, so just about anyone can take the classes.

I've never had a personal trainer before, but my experience so far has been great. My trainer took the time to get to know my goals, my current fitness level and issues, and has designed a program tailored to my particular situation.
Janice encourages me to push myself, but also to modify as needed and take a minute to breath if needed. I've had a very positive experience so far!

Had a great workout! This gym had a small group feel but a huge muscle workout. Everyone was very friendly and seemed to know each other. I felt a little lost but everyone was more than willing to help me out. The workout was versatile and went after every muscle group. There was room for accommodations and variations. I highly recommend this class.

Just started using class pass and this was the first place I went. The gym itself is really cute. The atmosphere screams family. I could tell the members and trainers were all really close which is lovely. The HIIT class I took was awesome. I definitely needed that!

I have been going to So Be Fit for personal training and a few classes for 6+ months and couldn't be more pleased. No, it hasn't transformed my body into a model of perfection, but that wasn't what I was looking for. I just feel better, stronger, and ready for wherever life may require of my body. Lifting a suitcase into the overhead bin on an airplane? No problem!

Laura customizes each session to *just* beyond my ability so I'm always challenged (but not so challenged that I feel like I'll die). Each workout is unique and I never get bored. As soon as one exercise is

Just did my first class at SoBeFit via classpass and I was pleasantly surprised. I live in the broad ripple area and have driven by this location so many times and I'm mad at myself for just now coming for the first time.

It's a no frills type of place and i mean that in the best way. You get in. You sign a waiver if it's your first time. And you have some cubbies to put your belongings in.

But it's a butt kicker! I did the CIRC HIIT class with Chris. The circuit is written on a board and they go over the exercises with the group prior to beginning. There were 10 stations

Working out at SoBe has been one of the best decisions I have made for my health as an adult. It's run by trainers who put great thought into their workouts and switch things up weekly so it is continually challenging and fun. The atmosphere is something I haven't found in any other gym; it's non-judgmental, community-oriented, and you can take things at your own pace.

I've been going to SoBe for almost two years now. I absolutely loved working 1 on 1 with Laura when I first started. She fit such a hard and worth while workout into a short amount of time for me. Now, I'm a regular at the weekly classes. The variety and the energy are what keep me coming back. I've become so much stronger than I ever thought I'd be. When I set out to find a personal trainer to keep me motivated I never thought I'd find the community that I did at SoBeFit. Now I go not only to workout and feel great but I go because I love the people so much!

I have been working with Karena for 4 years. She has a keen sense for individual work outs...never boring, always challenging. She has been able to structure a full body work out despite "bad" knees. Last but not least, we have a good time!

This place is absolutely amazing. I get board with working out and this place makes it fun. The trainers are amazing. They have an awesome facility in the heart of south Broad Ripple. Located right off the Monon so I can get out of the gym and work out too. So Be is the best!

Awesome classes! I've been a member 5 years and I love working out at So B Fit. All the trainer's are great, every trainer has their own format for train so there's variety. I feel that have over exceeded my workout and weight loss goals and I plan on continuing to be a member.... it's like having another family:)
