Johnny Doan was born and raised in San Diego, CA. He is a Certified Personal Trainer who specializes in Corrective Exercise, Sports Performance and Body Building. Johnny grew up playing organized sports and believes that exercise is a huge part of living a healthy life. Before becoming a trainer, Johnny served 4 years in the US Marine Corp where he worked as an artilleryman.
John is a Performance Specialist, United States Marine Corps Veteran, and Strength & Conditioning Coach. After serving in the military, John decided to move onward to the next chapter of his life by beginning his coaching career in 2013. Since then, John has pursued a path of sports, fitness, and educational pursuits, all geared towards advancing his understanding of elite human performance and increasing his ability as a performance specialist.
Christopher was born and raised in Los Angeles and moved to San Diego in 2010 to attend San Diego State University. He played basketball for the Aztecs under Coach Steve Fisher and won the Mountain West Conference Championship in the 2011-2012 season. After graduating, he played in the ABA for the San Diego Surf, including a short stint in China.
Christopher Long has specialized in Strength and Conditioning, Athletic Performance, and Corrective Exercise since 2011. Working with people of all ages and priorities, clients enjoy being educated and empowered to achieve new levels of strength and ability.

Gabby Marrewa has been a professional in the fitness industry for 18 years. She is an AFAA Certified Personal Trainer, Group X Fitness Instructor, and Hatha Yoga Instructor. Beyond her certifications and continuing education, Gabby has worked to develop a unique approach to fitness, that resonates with today's busy lifestyle.

I started training with John Fasulo after a lower back injury took me out of heavy lifting for about 9 months. He told me his goal was to "pour the concrete" to restrengthen my core, help prevent injury and gain strength. He put me on a program called GP - Athletic Strength. The program had a mix of stability, mobility and strength exercises.

If you are cleared physical therapy, recovering from surgery or an injury I highly recommend John. His knowledge and experience was extremely helpful in my recovery process. We focused on core strengthening, balance and light weight lifting while maintaining excellent form and posture.
We discussed my full medical history and John was aware of all my concerns throughout our training program. I highly recommend him for whatever type of training you're looking for.

I've been training with John for a number of months now, he was recommended to me a while after a shoulder injury that has been bothering me for some time. While training I've been able to learn a ton about how the body works, and have been taught a number of new exercises and movements that have really improved my workouts and rehab past injuries. He's extremely knowledgeable and passionate about training and I would highly recommend working with him

I trained with John Fasulo for almost a year. I have trained by myself for years, so I have a high standard for my trainer. However I have to say that John is indeed a super expert in his area. I really wonder where he picks up so many training method for all aspects of your body, strength, flexibility, agility, explosion and so on. John's training helps me to improve my performance in other sports like swimming and boxing. Really have a lot of fun with him.

I trained with John Fasulo for about 8 months. John is truly an expert in his field and I enjoyed every session. He pushes you to your limits but understands your limits. Ever session is a bit different and tailored to you body, strengths and weaknesses. I felt my body responding and getting stronger with every session. Looking forward to working with him again at some point. He is an extremely knowledgeable trainer.

This gym is for Torrey Gardens apartments residents. It’s clean and has a wide selection of cardio and weight machines. There are various classes offered here like yoga, zumba, mat pilates and cardio barre. There are water fountains and shower rooms. There is a personal trainer option available here. It’s open 24 hours. There is free wireless internet to use. The cardio machines have a big screen display where you can watch YouTube, scan Twitter, or listen to music.

John was my personal trainer for over year. When my daughter moved here, he worked with us together. John is extremely knowledgeable about the body and nutrition. He never asked me to do anything that he wasn't willing to do himself. I'm in my mid-50s, and he treated me with kindness and respect. One of the Top Trainers in San Diego! I started training with John more than a year ago and due to some injuries/issues that left me feeling like I couldn't get back to my normal exercise or gym routine without at least getting "fixed" or better first! Athletic & Aesthetic Fitness motivates me to want to work out, not even kidding. I have been to pretty much all gym's in San Diego County and this one has a special place in my heart.

I started training with John months ago after a surgery weakened my body and have had great results in such a short time. I have previous sports injuries and he was able to work around those while still producing results. He came up with multiple different ways to work the same area while progressing the difficulty with my growth. I was sad to have to stop training with him due to a job relocation. He's very knowledgeable and I would definitely recommend John to anyone.

I started training with John Fasulo about two years ago, but got serious about weight loss and healthy eating in November 2016 after a health scare.
My main goals were (dramatic) weight loss, weight training and general health improvement.
In November 2016, I was obese, out of shape, and not well educated in nutrition.
One year later, at age 60, thanks to John's diligence, motivation and skill, I have lost 45lbs, am no longer in the obese range, and all my health issues have resolved themselves.

I've been training with John Fasulo for almost two years. My main goals were to tone up, lose a little body fat and build strength. When I first started, I was only really familiar with using the elliptical, the stair climber and the occasional treadmill run.
