Jessica is a California native and graduate of Pacific College of Health and Science who specializes in Tui Na massage. She is a board certified massage therapist thorough NCBTMB and has worked in a variety of professional settings including chiropractic, acupuncture, massage clinics, and spas in major hotels.
As part of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Tuina uses a variety of specialized hand techniques and acupressure to clear out obstructions that cause pain, restore the flow of blood and qi, and return the body to balance. Tuina effectively aids healing of acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain, as well as internal disorders such as digestive problems, insomnia, and reproductive health.
A deep oil massage, done on the massage table. The practitioner massages the client with her feet using an overhead support system to control her bodyweight. The soft surface of the foot contours comfortably with the body allowing the therapist to deliver powerful, effective treatments that make deeper work more relaxing for the client.

I had a session with Kaitlyn today and I was completely blown away. I have never felt such a release of tension before. She really paid attention to the tight spots in my body and even found some i was unaware of. Of all the massages I’ve had this one is most beneficial. I feel like she actually worked to relieve and reset my aches rather just a typical massage where they give you a nice back rub. Thank you Kaitlyn will recommend everyone i know to come see you!

I highly recommend somasense and Stef. I have been going to Stef for 25years and I wouldn't go anywhere else. She is phenomenal at deep tissue and even after this many years she did a new style similar to a shiatsu massage and it was magnificent. My shoulders and hips fee more aligned now than ever. I have been a member of SomaSense for about 2 years.. during this time, its been nothing but absolute harmony for my body and mind... yes, because both become balanced when I come to this place. This is the only place I think I will go to for massages.
It's so worth it. I had a deep tissue massage and cupping with Paris. She's an excellent massage therapist I must say. She definitely knows what she's doing and she knows it well.
I've been sore for some time and after the session I feel über relaxed and restored.

Don't waste anymore time, book a massage with Sergey right now.
Seriously, the best massage. So knowledgeable, intuitive and great communication. I told him my trouble areas, and he did an amazing job making me feel so much better and melting those trouble areas away with the perfect amount of pressure.
But what makes me leave feeling so spoiled and well cared for is his professional notice to detail. He is always finding spots on me I had no idea needed some TLC. Plus, I have TMJ and he noticed I moved my jaw around during the massage from it acting up, so he massaged it out for me!!

I came here for the first time recently and had a wonderful experience. Sergey is awesome, very personable and gave an amazing massage. I injured my ankle recently so have been on crutches which has been exhausting and very painful and Sergey truly worked wonders. The space is very peaceful, clean and inviting. I will definitely be coming back here regularly!

Victoria was absolutely amazing. I got the best massage I've ever had. She used exactly the amount of pressure I requested and did this throughout the entire 90 minutes. I stress this cause I like a gentle touch, which doesn't seem to be the norm and in my experience it's difficult for most therapists to scale it back to the level I need or to maintain that level without slipping back into doing it really hard and deep. Victoria never forgot to keep the pressure consistent and her skills as a masseuse are superb. I've already booked another appointment with her and plan on making

I love this place. I was a massage therapist in NY for almost 20 years. I just had a massage from Sergey and I don't hesitate to say it was the best massage I have ever had, hands down. True deep tissue massage without being incredibly painful, focused on the areas I told him were an issue plus he found some I didn't even realize were causing me problems. Lots of amazing stretching, too. I walked out of there feeling better than I have in a long time!

LOVE THIS PLACE! I have a hectic schedule and Tina and her team is always accommodating. Additionally, SomaSense is conveniently located in Golden Hill with ample street parking. After three years of living in San Diego and forking out the dough to massage therapists around town, I am in utter shock with the phenomenal team here. Everyone is great. However, I must admit: Victoria is my go-to massage therapist and she is great in finding tight areas and working them through. I always leave elated and refreshed. She teaches me stretches that would help in my tight areas and has such a calm spirit

Somasense is amazing! If you were like me before I met Went there and knew nothing about ashiatsu massage...look it up! It is a game changer and They are pro at it. It may seem awkward if you know nothing about it... But after you get over your paranoia it's amazing and she can actually get deeper into your fascia then you'll ever know. I have a bad shoulder which has then translated into a bad back with many problematic areas. being that my jobs keep me on my feet 12 hours a day doesn't help.. I recieved a certificate for a prenatal massage at my baby shower. After a very difficult pregnancy and a painful 9th month, I booked my appointment. I had barely been able to walk or sleep the last two weeks. At 41 weeks I was set to be induced, but really wanted to try and get things going naturally. At the very least I wanted some relief from the pain.
The massage went so well, I was able to go to the beach and hour after my appointment. I walked around and played in the water. By the next day, I naturally went into labor at almost 42 weeks.

I never actually stepped foot into this place but I want to give them a 5 star review based on the fact that we had a 2 pm app and we thought it ws at 3 but either way was that there was a HUGE mix up between my bf and I and we had to cancel 1/2 hr before app (would never do this to them intentionally)

After extensive searching through Groupon for somewhere credible to get a massage (so many iffy places) SomaSense stood out with really good reviews on Groupon and Yelp.
Got a Groupon for a massage for a great price and was able to book thru the Groupon website for the very next day. This was incredibly convenient as many people have trouble booking appointments for services booked through Groupon. So handy that SomaSense has worked with Groupon to make it so you can immediately
