Mount Prospect Greens Apartment

Avoid these apartment at all cost, our A/C unit has been broken for over a year and we are always given the run a round. Never even bothered to take care of the mold in our apartment. We are unable to move for various reasons. They will probably kick us out for this but if I can save someone I will.

Roach infested apartments, pest control has came a few times but I think they might be spraying sugar water. I’ve bombed the place twice myself but they won’t go away. We used to have a lot of plumping issues until recently and the water heater being next to the sink sure didn’t help with the roach infestation. I’ve seen them run under the baseboards in the wall outlets, behind the refrigerator, I even got plug in bug repellents place around the apartment, but the roaches decide to live behind them instead, they just won’t go away. Constant issue with the air conditioning and heating

Management and Maintenance are negligent. We just moved here and regretting our decision. We have a ton of issues in our apartment and spoke with the Property Manager Paul. It is taking Maintenance forever to take of our unit issues and to make things worst they ignore emails and say they are going to address our issues on a certain day and never come or email... Awful!!!! If you are thinking of moving to this community I would look at the reviews first before making a decision.... In my opinion I don’t think they care about there tenants.

Still waiting for a holding fee back after a month of an application I canceled. Kind of lucky we didn’t even go through with the process. Seems management could care less

I have bad experience. Ripped off in the name of late fee despite sending in my rents 5th of every month.

This place is a joke...we will be terminating our lease early due the staff and and the fact they say they are dog friendly but leave your dog on the patio for more than 2 min and you surely get a complaint....how bout the pool they didnt put a cover on and left full of freezing nasty water this whole winter...do yourself a favor and dont move here management is a joke

Have been here a couple years maintenance is so slow about getting things fixed. Christina and Kathy should be replaced. I have had a very bad experience with both I'm still waiting for repairs to my apartment and now its 2yrs later. I've called Corporate they said will look into it. Still nothing has happened it's a waste of time. We have new management I will see what happens now. If wasn't for covid 19
I would have been left. Let me assure you this next year I want be here. My rent from 150$ 1yr and 20$ next

I'm on my 3rd year living here and the management and maintenance are great! Very friendly management and very professional. Clean property. I live here with my 10 year and and she loves it! The large courtyard to play in is great and now the new pool ! And how they handled residents and fees and working with them through the covid pandemic was very appreciated and made me feel valued. The neighbors are all very friendly.

We've been living here since this March and so far we're satisfied.
The building exteriors and hallways need a lot of TLC, but the units themselves are updated and quiet. Since they're older buildings, the units are larger than the average apartment complex in the area. Great value for square footage! Our kitchen is huge!
I don't do my laundry here, but from what I've heard the machines aren't great.
We haven't had any issues with maintenance yet. Christina in the front office is SO SO SO nice. She was very helpful when we were touring the place and putting in our application.

My experience at the property was pleasant, the young man that provided me with information was so helpful. Freshly to Chicago, I was eager to move in anything. After driving around the complex I noticed how the upkeep wasn’t what the pictures displayed online, I was expecting resort style living for the price they were asking.
