If I could give this place 0 stars I would!! When I was moving in Patti and Jeanette were so “helpful” made the process so glamorous looking. I was proven wrong quick. Mold issue in my HVAC and in the bathroom.. bugs everywhere. People smoking cigarettes in the hallway and packages stolen always!!!!! Management acts nice but really doesn’t care
Don’t expect to feel safe here either. The activity that they allow is astonishing!

This property and management company doesn’t deserve a single star. The staff is inadequate, incompetent and cannot even handle a simple request. The property itself is in terrible condition with apartments riddled with black mold. Animal feces adorn the lawn with every other step. Construction efforts are dangerous and do not adhere to proper safety protocol. When temperatures drop below freezing, the concrete below the one and only entrance to the gym rises and risks enclosing people in the gym with no way out. The office charges undisclosed fees to your monthly rent and will not provide you

The Residences at Arlington Heights is an alright apartment complex for any (single/non-married) person to live. It is in a good location to a lot of primary needs close by such as grocery stores, major highways/interstates, shopping, etc. The (upgraded) units are nice and there are a lot of amenities for residences.
Despite these positives there are many opportunities for improvement. This complex is MASSIVE with lots of residences, which in turn creates an impersonal management staff that did not really make me feel..."welcome" or "at home" while I was living here (except maybe one person).

NEVER RENT HERE!
We lived there for 2 years. Firstly, there were no doors installed in the cabinets the whole year. Someone was stealing our packages constantly. Very poor laundry. pool and gym never works but I was charged for it anyway.
Second year was even worse. My new neighbor was fighting with her girlfriend on the parking lot. every other day there was police or ambulance. Other neighbour liked to listening to music at 2-4 am in the morning as Loud as they can.
Lastly, never trust management. Make a copy of everything you sing in the office. They lost my notice and changed me 400$ on

**LONG REVIEW**
Now that I've moved out, here's my experience. If you have great credit, use it elsewhere!!
The lack of communication between us and staff regarding utilities, appliances, and the pet, specifically dog policy is alarming. They didn't tell us that dogs were not allowed in OUR unit until AFTER we signed the lease. They didn't tell us utilities were not included for OUR unit until AFTER we signed as well. However, their listing on Rent.com says utilities are paid and pets allowed. How odd. The plumbing had been a nightmare throughout the 2nd half of our residence. When we DID call

Lived in 2 different units, and both had long stretches of time when the air was bad, probably from the building electrical system. While responsive, maintenance or management will not resolve it. Numerous requests to have an electrician examine it were ignored. They say they've never had this issue before. Not sure I believe that, but if you consider living here and experience the same, you may want to flag this review as proof that someone else has complained. The other negative is the rent pricing goes up a lot each year, but they advertise on Craigslist for much cheaper. You should always negotiate

Everything looked great before moving in, but complex is not as nice as the photos. Appreciated Jeanette being friendly and helpful through the process, but there was mold in my apartment and HVAC system, I became really sick while living there. Ordered my own mold test and found 4 different types of mold. Had to move out within two months, and am still recovering from the health repercussions. Despite everything and not having safe living conditions, I still didn’t get my full deposit back. I do not recommend this complex. It seems good for the price, but I was literally not safe living there

I don’t know where to start. When we first agreed on the lease they showed us one condo. Then I’m moving day they said there was a mixup and another family moved in the day before us into our condo and give us a different one. The one that they put us in had a burnt counter so we asked them to replace it. They said that they can’t do it but won’t charge us for it when we leave. Then we started noticing the house centipedes and fly infestation. These bugs would appear almost daily. We asked for an exterminator to come out and they sent the maintenance guy. Was never fixed they kept appearing

We lived here for two years and had an okay experience. The management is pretty bad and not very helpful. They also ask their residents to post 5 star reviews and offer different incentives for doing so. The amenities are great. The maintenance guys were great. They don't have the right equipment for plowing the parking lots during the winter, so it's pretty bad and icy. I don't think the prices are worth the poor quality rooms and poor management services. If you do decide to stay here, since it's relatively cheap for this area, take pictures! We had poor quality carpet when we moved in, but

I only lived here 6mo at first I thought wow this place is going to be great. Jeanette at first was very helpful but they failed to mention to me was that when you first move in prepare for your utility package to be at least 200$ the first 2 months due to deposits they didn’t mention. Also the game room is only available when the office is open. The pool is a lot smaller then it looks on the pictures. Also my building door was broken the entire time I lived here I brought it up to Jeannette and it was never fixed. The hall ways small very very very bad sometimes. When I first signed a lease
