Pets First Animal Clinic
We realize that many of our clients are nervous about bringing their pets in for routine visits. We are now offering Drive-thru Routine Exams on Fridays. Call 208-375-2512 to schedule an appointment. When you arrive you will drive into the designated area. A technician will come out and take your pet inside where you will be able to observe the exam through a window.

You may converse with the Veterinarian through the window or on your cell phone to answer your questions from the safety of your car. When we are finished with the exam, we will return your pet to you. You may then pay the bill from the safety of your car either by phone or card. When everything is done, you drive away with minimal contact with anyone.
Services
Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services: Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.

Many people have questions about various aspects of their pet's surgery, and we hope this information will help. It also explains the decisions you will need to make before your pet's upcoming surgery. Today's modern anesthetic monitors have made surgery much safer than in the past.

Here at Pets First Animal Clinic, we do a thorough physical exam on your pet before administering anesthetics, to ensure that a fever or other illness won't be a problem. We also adjust the amount and type of anesthetic used depending on the health of your pet. The handout on anesthesia explains this in greater detail.
