Dynasty has EXCELLENT chow mein! It is decent portion size and great taste. The combination pan fried noodle is drenched in delicious flavor, and they make the ends crunchy. The staff is very friendly. They are often pretty busy during the winter season, but try their best to get you seated, ordered, and food at your table as quickly as they can. I highly recommend!

We wanted asian food for lunch and came across this restaurant. So we thought: Chinese food sounds great! We were excited that they're open and the menu looked good and the prices were fair (my thoughts in the beginning).

My husband was craving some chicken teriyaki, which they have. He likes having them with both steamed white rice and noodles. The gentleman that helped us with our order said: "It only comes with white rice." And I said, "I understand, could we please order an extra side of plain chow mein?" He wrote down our order and walked away. The chow mein came

We went to have a nice dinner as a family me my pregnant wife and our 4 year old. The portions were way smaller then when we order take out. The kung pow chicken had no flavor at all. To top it off they tried to over charge us when the bill came. When we asked the waiter about the bill he said it was right and would show us so we got out our calculator and added everything in front of him. All he did was laugh and say I don't know what happened. And gave us 10 dollars in cash after he charged us. I give this restaurant negative ten stars. As a local, this is unacceptable and will never be

Considering the pandemic is still here (ugh), I would view this as 3.5 but let's give it 4 stars.

I'm not a local. I come from SGV where there are many, many authentic Chinese food and I found the menu to be quite legitimate. Not the usual 'orange chicken' but they share many of the items that I would find back home.

I only ordered eggplant with pork (sichuan style). Eggplant is definitely cooked well but I didn't find it spicy at all and I'm very bad at tolerating spice. There was barely any pork (it was minced up) but that's usually how it's like back

It's one of those restaurants that you go to when you're craving Asian food and it's the only other Asian restaurant in town. They did a good job with the spice and flavor but our food strangely came out cold. It was done fast but cold.

I'd come back though just because I need that spice and when you're boarding all day, it helps a whole lot!

I only gave the 1 star because it made me to leave a review. I came here with my wife on a birthday trip to big bear. When we walked in it should have been a sign to run out, but we decided to give it a chance. Definitely the Wrong decision and half way thru eating I felt like just leaving and going to Taco Bell. The appetizers were far from anything I've ever tried to eat. The soup had no flavor , the beef skewers had a weird meat I couldn't even identify and the only thing halfway decent was the dry egg roll. The main course was equally disappointing, the chicken plate had a soggy

From the beginning waiters were rude. Bad service. First time here and as I was ordering they were being rude. we got a soup that had a baby roach in it and I told the guy and he never said sorry or anything. He just took the plate away facility is really dirty too. I don't know how they're in business

Never again. I've been local here for a long time and it's always been hit or miss. Tonight it took $100 and 2 hours to receive mostly empty trays of what I could best describe as dog food. F@%! You dynasty and your generous "all I can do is" $18 refund. You lost a customer for life.

1/7/2022- Worst Chinese food we've ever had. Bland Bland Bland with a hint of frost bite. Portions are small- $14.00 thought we would share for two people, only enough for one person, however didn't eat it because it was awful and to send it back

Overpriced and not even good!! The customer service was horrible to say the least. The wait time is ridiculous! They told me my food would be ready in 25 mins and took over an hour, only to get cold food! Don't waste your time or money.

My top Asian restaurants in this little mountain town!
I love ordering the salt n pepper fried chicken wings because it always hit the spot. Comes out piping hot, lightly battered and fried, and accompanied by garlic onions and spicy peppers. It's soooo good I hate sharing this! Lol.

Fun fact: this restaurant has been here for over 27 years! Talk about authenticity and legit. I come here so often they remember my order. Support your small local family businesses!

Hey guys, if you think that Panda Express is what Chinese food is supposed to be like, don’t leave any review here. These guys are serving more authentic and seriously delicious Chinese dishes that one would never expect to encounter in a remote place like Big Bear Lake. Guys, I am serious, this is an amazing restaurant that I found by surprise. Their dishes are more authentic than what Americans normally get from Chinese restaurants. If you want to experience real Chinese food around Big Bear, I bet that you won’t find anything better than this in the vicinity. Stop complaining about being

Worst food I've ever eaten in ANY restaurant! Not just the worst Chinese food.....Any Food!

Our combination meals started off with appetizers and soup. One of those appetizers was some type of meat on a skewer served on top of a flaming mini barbecue... It looks very appetizing and I was excited to try it until I took one bite and was unable to tell what it was.... The closest thing I could say to describe it would be the fat and gristle from some beef product.

The soup should have tipped us off as we lifted the spoons to our mouths and my wife commented that it smelled like a horse stable

Dynasty has such a huge selection and everything I try is always tasty! My fiancé and I love picking up takeout, but eating in is always a treat as they have a great atmosphere. Thank you Dynasty, we'll see you soon!

Wow. Im writing this as I'm eating and i'm honestly speechless. I'm from Chicago, and ever since moving to California in 2015 I have not been able to find a good Chinese restaurant. We decided to take a weekend trip to Big Bear and honestly we got so sick of every restaurant serving the same bland steak & potatoes dinner, so we decided to check this place out. We were a little apprehensive because of the bad reviews, but oh my GOD! This place is AMAZING! I am so glad we ended up here because this is the Chinese food i have been searching for ever since I moved to Cali. Disregard

I wouldn't even give it a single star. Walked in there, there were 7-9 people in total in the whole restaurant, and the waiter (Asian looking man) told me that they are currently full and was very rude and disrespectful. Smelled horrible in there too..‍ so upset .

Really looked forward to eating some good Chinese food, but the experience was unappetizing.
The food tasted like it had been recooked.

The rice had a bunch of brown spots like old soy sauce or salvaged rice from other unfinished plates. It was quite gross.

Spent over $65 and didn't eat anything.

The beef stick appetizers looked like kabab meat. Tasted like old marinate.

The dumplings were not great. Only ate 1 and gave the rest to our dog

Chow menu was sticky. And dry In spots. Didn't seem
Fresh.

Nothing appeared to be fresh! Upsetting when you're willing to spend

The good:
My family was sick of eating American food in Big Bear so we decided to take a gamble and try this place despite the less than 4 star Yelp review. We're so glad we did! The food came out in a timely manner and their menu offers a ton of great options (including lobster that they have live on site!). The market price for lobster was around $70/pound at the time I went. They serve it in three different styles. My family tried the honey walnut prawns with pineapple, sweet and sour soup, mooshu pork wraps, and the beef with snap peas. Each portion wasn't too large and was cooked

First time came here 2 years ago. I was desperate for some Chinese food during a ski trip and Sichuan food was even better. Spicy food is always a good welcome during ski trip ! Didn't have high expectation thinking it's big bear but I was blown away by how authentic the Sichuan food was !

Fast forward 2 years and we have another short ski trip, the meal 2 years ago was so memorable I wanted to find this restaurant again. So we found it and the quality of food was still super authentic and after living in China for 6 years and Hong Kong 10 years we could really tell this is proper

We came to Big Bear and found this restaurant, the current rating seems to be pretty good so we stop by to eat. The food taste terrible. Sweet and sour is too sweet and too sour, the tomatos egg is kind of flavorless. The portions were small. My sister and my niece's friend got food poisoning and didn't feel good after. I really wouldn't suggest this place.
