Since what we do is so individualized to each person, what we do initially is have you in for what we call a strategy session. In it we go over goals, injury/medical history, show you the facility, go over program options. Our biggest philosophy is that the workouts and programs you do are 100% individualized to you in every way.

Working out experience or lack thereof. Movement Assessment. Everything in between. There is no "we've always done it this way" or marriage to any specific methods. We only do what works the absolute best, in the most effective manner for the people we serve. Most exercise programs don't provide the total solution that you really need.

Hugo has been a coach for over 15 years and has a passion for helping people transform their lives through training and nutrition.
Our unique balance of targeted strength training and metabolic conditioning will help you be fit and build your ideal body type in just two to four 50 minutes sessions a week. We use the best programming strategies that science allows to keep you always progressing towards your goals. We use the MyZone heart rate monitor system to track your heart rate and effort throughout the workout so you can see yourself getting better every time.

Then we'll develop a personalized plan to help you eat, move, and live better - in a way that fits into your real, everyday life. Never diet again. Instead of another complex diet program to follow, get ready to have one less thing to worry about.
I looooove my PT sessions. I look forward to each one and make it a point to never miss. My strength, abilities, and stamina have all grown tremendously, yet each session continues to be challenging and pushes me to achieve greater. I lost and only dropped 5 buuuuttt I remembered it's not about the scale it's about how you feel and if you are meeting your personal goals.

Joining Custom Fitness is by far the best decision I’ve made for my health and fitness. This facility lives up to its name because your program is truly customized for you. Each month I see new changes and exciting results thanks to our collective coach-client effort! Coach Hugo is reliable, encouraging, and genuinely cares about each one of his clients. I have been going here for about 2 months, I absolutely love this place, what i don't like is there customer service,I called about a payment, i was left on hold 5 to 10 mins at a time ( i called 4 time in one day) i was bounced around from person to person, with no one willing to help me. Good thing i only work out here, lord for bid, i need to talk to someone again. Because customer service is important to me, i will give them 2.5 stars!

Custom Fitness is more than a gym. It's a community of great people. The workouts are tough and results are impressive. The atmosphere here is unparalleled- it's family friendly with a dose of high energy. I commute to this gym and it's so worth it.

AMAZING!!! I've been a runner for years but it became hard to be consistent after having kids and my body needed something different if I wanted to see changes. I joined Custom Fitness 6 weeks ago and it was the best thing I have done for myself in years. I never thought I would be the person waking up to make it to a 5AM group class (spent years trying to get up for early morning runs on my own and it never happened) but the encouraging and upbeat coaches, challenging group class workouts, attentive personal training, and supportive FitFam made it easy to establish a new routine. My daughter did summer sports conditioning training with Hugo. Prior to starting, Hugo asked about her fitness goals any areas of concern for injury. He built the workouts to be sports specific and really challenged her. My daughter is now in her best shape for the competitive season. We will definitely return next summer!

I'm addicted to this place. I've had fit goals since I was in High School. I'm 28 now and I've never been or felt as driven, dedicated, supported, and challenged as I do at Custom Fitness.
I personally attend Group Classes and other attendees are supportive and friendly. But the best part about this place, hands down, are the trainers. Simply tell them where they struggle is and they will help you through it.
Highly recommended and will definitely miss 'em after I move back down to SoCal.

Also, down 25 lbs in 3 months. Results are real!

I have been training with Custom Fitness for 19 months now so I figured it was time for a review. I have worked out for most of my adult life and believed that I knew best how to train my body. When my company decided to sign up all the employees for a team work outs twice a week, I was not sure what to expect.

Since the first day, I have enjoyed working with the trainers (Hugo and Keith have been great). The workouts are interesting, they are tailored to what I can give and they create results. I think their philosophy on training is on target and my body has responded well.

Hugo is a great trainer and business owner ! I am very motivate to go to the classes because he pushes you to the limit . I used to go to the big gym paying monthly , and never use it . Now , I go to the classes at least 2 times a week . If you want serious workout, come to this place .

This place was so great, I had to create an account on here just to Yelp it. Won't bore you with a long story but the people are great motivators, they keep the sessions very interesting and fun and you leave sweaty and with energy to finish the day. I've shed about 15-20 lbs in a few weeks. They also care about your diet and try to not only improve your body but your all around well being. Tempo for all ages and levels. Won't regret it!

I have never been one to excercise much let alone pay a trainer, but I decided to give it a try and these guys are great!!! I knew that I needed someone to be accountable to and it really has helped me to lose weight. They are so personable and really do care about their clients and their goals. They work with all ages and are also able to adjust workouts to accomodate injuries, etc.

Custom Fitness has been one of the best things in my life since moving to Sacramento! When I looked up Custom Fitness online for the first time 8 months ago, two things caught my attention right away. It was MORE AFFORDABLE THAN the training I was considering at 24 Hour Fitness and it was MORE PRIVATE.
