The Beef & Brew restaurant is located at 293 Main St. in Geneva, NY. We are open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week from 11 am to 10 pm. The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere with a stone fireplace in the main dining room as well as traditional tavern seating in our large bar area. We also have seasonal seating with our outdoor deck and bar.
Our menu features American, British, and Irish fare and our signature dishes include Beer and Cheddar Soup, Beef and Brew Stew, Polish Kielbasa, a Slow Roasted Beef on Weck Sandwich, and the best steaks in town. Our desserts are homemade and include such traditional favorites as Apple Pie, Chocolate Mousse Cake, Carrot Cake with cream cheese frosting, and Coconut Cream Cake.

We had a party of 10 people on Tuesday 1/4 for my boyfriends birthday. It was our table and 3 other parties of 2, which all ate before we received appetizer’s. Once our party was all there our server took our order and it took about 30 minutes after that for just our soup and 2 appetizers. Both tasted good. I ordered the beef barbecue with mashed potatoes. I took a few bites and noticed this bug. I googled a picture of a cockroach and sure enough! Long antennas and everything. The server said sorry and offered to make something new, I declined the offer. He told me he would take off my meal.

Food was really good , very flavorful. Would give it 4-5 stars except the service was probably one of the worst we have ever incoumtered !!!! After we entered we stood at the entrance for almost 10 minutes before any of the 5 staff members standing there even acknowledged us , then had ro wait another 5 minutes before someone took us to a table . Then our waitress would disappear for long periods or sit at bar on her phone (see photo)while she took one of her 5 "rests" leaving us waiting for service , hope she is not an example of all their employees !!!!

Decent pub-like restaurant in Geneva. Customer service was great. They did put us at a two person table right next to a full family and the entire dining room was empty - thought it was a little awkward. Felicia, our server, was awesome - even worked with the chef to make a chicken Caesar salad sandwich happen for my friend who wanted something not on the menu. Bruschetta was good. Reasonable prices, decent food.

Food was okay but the service was SO SLOW. Felt pretty neglected from the moment we sat down - not sure what happened exactly, or if it was just our waiter, or just that particular night, but another waiter from a different section came over to ask if we had been helped...
Even to bring our drinks out took nearly 20 minutes. For drinks... on tap.
Food came at an okay time, and it was pretty good. Just wish the service was better.

I was pretty excited to try this place and the food was good, but not great. He got a beef on wick which he said he’d give 4 stars, but I got the brisket sandwich which was kind of dry and not Smokey tasting at all. Also, I asked for cheddar cheddar cheese on it and they forgot it, and when I brought it up I was brought something that looked like nacho cheese sauce... considering we waited over 35 minutes for our food I would say it wasn’t really worth it.

Horrible service and horrible wait time for a carry out order. Lots of wait staff in the restaurant so it can’t be due to a staff shortage.
Top that with the hot arrived Luke warm.
Got a garden salad which was fine.
Luke warm pot roast sandwich.
Also there was a fee for using a credit card.
Very disappointed.

This place rocks. We are from Buffalo and stopped for dinner while visiting the area and wineries for weekend. We have no idea what the bad reviews were talking about... this place had amazing food, an absurd amount of beer on tap and also a great whiskey selection. I had prime rib and it was great. Don't listen to the idiots with the bad reviews, they are nuts.

I love it there. the staff is always moving but happy! they are singing and dancing and smiling. we love sitting at the bar and just watching everyone hustle. it's a lovely friendly place to go where you don't have to worry about rudeness or impatient people lol we are fans! oh and the food and ciders are amazing!!!!!

We head a great dinner at this classic looking pub. The beer cheese soup is good - but I couldn't actually tell it ha beer in it, and the consistency was odd. I ate the whole cup, however. My beef and cheddar sandwich was exceptional, with tender slices of beef, perfectly caramelized onions, and cheddar, all on a toasted and garlicky bun. The beer selection is exceptional, and the wine selection is just the right size for a pub, but with a plethora of local vineyard selections.

This place is perfection…. I rail against the homogenization of eateries across our great land…. They are boring and bland. The beef and Brew should receive national landmark status because it drips with authenticity from the aesthetic, to the food menu….I might add the beer menu alone should be a draw for people from near and far as it is a cultivated passion project by some genius balancing lots of local, domestic and even international brews…. Truly a great serendipitous stop on our journey….

Great place. Huge beer, whisky and wine selection. The service was great and the prices weren't bad. The menu is extensive and can accommodate almost everyone. It was the best fish and chips I've had in a long time. Ask for some of the po-boy sauce on the side. That stuff was perfect. Strongly recommend this place.

This was our second stop on our visit to Geneva. We were excited to try the flights seeing that they had such a variety. George; our bartender was absolutely outstanding. Not only did he understand our goal of the night but he was able to make recommendations on their beer selection. We had a great time mixing and matching flights amongst our friends and George gave insightful information on the different beers. The stools at the bar were incredibly comfortable unique in that they really felt more like you were sitting in a chair. We didn't have anything to eat here so I can't comment on the food

This place started off slow where we were sitting. Took 5-10 minutes to get waited on. Then when I decided on a beer they didn't have, and I tried something else. Then I switched beers and guess what they were out of the blue moon, so I went with another local beer which was good.
