According to the Sanborn Maps in the Key West Archives, there has been a saloon or bar at the address of Two Friends since before the Great Fire of 1886. However, the name Two Friends wasn't adopted until shortly after World War I. In 1941, Barbara Smith was hired by Two Friends and became the FIRST female bartender in Key West!

Awesome waiter this morning, he was one of the best we've seen!
I had the Chocolate Chip Pancakes and the Mrs ordered the French Toast..our other friends ordered the big breakfast with eggs, bacon, etc.
We all ordered the Key Lime Pie as well..mmmmmmmmmmmmm
Very cool, relaxed place and everything was fantastic!

Love this place! I've been searching for stone crabs and this place offers it at an affordable price. The crabs were succulent and tasty! The crab bisque was super yummy and I wanted to come back for it again that night but they closed unfortunately. The crab cake was good but wasn't the star.
The Rockefeller oyster was a bit different from what I expected and it taste ok. I guess every restaurant has a different version of it.
If you're in key west definitely check this place out.

We came here after we got a coupon for free key lime pies after our snorkeling trip so we were skeptical of the food quality thinking it may be overly touristy. But man were we wrong! Two friends patio is like many other restaurants in Key West that offers live music and is primarily outdoor seating, though there is some indoor seating available as well I believe.
Happy hour is offered daily from 4-6 p.m. and there are some phenomenal offerings on their happy hour menu. Their house Chardonnay had generous pour at $3.50 during happy hour. We got a variety of happy hour appetizers to split.

Best seafood breakfast ever!!! We rolled in here at 1030 on a Monday morning and the bar was already packed and live music going.
The vibe was perfect Key West laid back. One Karen came in and was irrationally impatient and rude to the staff. She tried to rally other patrons and everyone ignored her. When she could tell she wasn't going to get any attention she stomped out. We all had a shot and laughed when she left. It's that kinda place.
The service was great. The food came out quickly and we enjoyed our drinks. The bartender was very nice.

This is THE breakfast spot of Key West hands down. The food is made to perfection, the bloody mary is (voted) the best in town and yes it sure is! On top of that you get to enjoy the weather, the live music and the occasional chickens roaming around your feet :) Service is also fast and excellent. 10 across the board.

I never like mimosas, but the cranberry mimosa here was actually great! The french toast was not bad, and the smoked salmon hash browns were very tasty, just smaller than expected. Our waitress was super sweet and really efficient even with our large group. Apparently the Bloody Mary was good enough for seconds and the healthy omelet was tastier than it sounds.

The food is meh. I ordered the fried lobster. My husband ordered the coconut shrimp. My son ordered the jambalaya. The best thing on the menu was the mashed potatoes. Keylime pie was perfectly creamy. However, it was too tart. The waitress was great. She was responsive and kind and it was her first day of work.

This unassuming location is GREAT! My husband and I went to Two Friends for breakfast on our last day in Key West. We arrived right as they opened at 8am and were the second table to be seated in their outdoor patio section; surprisingly multiple other tables arrived shortly thereafter, so we knew we were in for something good.
The service was quick with an attentive waiter. Our food came out fast and was absolutely delicious. My husband ordered some sort of breakfast tacos and I ordered the banana walnut waffle. The waffle was incredible with a good amount of walnuts (they did not skimp out!

This place has a wonder atmosphere! It has a tiki room type of vibe in the outdoor patio area. The food was really great! I got the broiled mahi-mahi sandwich and the fish was super flaky and juicy. It came with a key like tarter sauce that was really awesome. The conch fritters were good. The fried mahi-mahi tacos were excellent as well. Can't wait to visit again.

Great place. Food was amazing. After eating bar food for 3 days in Key West, chose this place for dinner. Wanted abetted than fried food and burgers, but, didn't want a high priced gourmet restaurant. This was a gre R choice. Food was excellent, service very good and price very competitive with the food quantity and quality very good.

Awesome casual spot. We walked past this place every day and it was always packed. I wish that we had tried it sooner. The key lime French toast was awesome. The key lime was almost like an icing, very mild flavor. Hubby got the chocolate chip pancakes and ate every bite. The other food looked great too. Next time we are in key west we definitely will be back.

Dinner was very good. We had a party of 6 with 2 kids and our waiter was spot on for everyone. His service and attentiveness was far above just good. The smoked fish dish appetizer 😋. As you can see from the pictures, the entrees were also excellent. Far too much food for a single meal. Bill for all 7 meals 250.00 including 1 adult beverage for all.

We love having breakfast at Two Friends Patio! It’s definitely more enjoyable during the week when it’s less crowded and the food and staff are on point! There’s always live music in the morning which is lovely. They have some of the best Bloody Mary & mimosa cocktails in Key West. Their food is delicious and consistent and reasonably priced. They are a staple in Key West for breakfast lunch and dinner. Everyone I know loves Two Friends!

So I stopped in while on vacation and it was not a disappointment. we got sat right down and our server was very great. He was telling us all the hot attractions in the area and being very positive.
Our food and drinks came out very quick. My salad was HUGE, definitely worth it. Got a Bloody Mary of course!! Was told it was the best in Key West, it was good but wouldn't say the best in KW. We sat on the patio and it was beautiful and shaded just right. Enjoyed it all very much.

I have read about Two Friends Patio and was glad to have a chance to try it out.
First of all, I love live music and there was a relaxed vibe with the live music in the background.
We split a burger and fries and it was very fresh, generous size so good one to share. We wrapped up with the Key Lime Pie and am glad we tried it. The cruse and pie were light, tart, and overall one of my favorites so far.
We sat on the patio, nice breeze and the lights were beautiful at night.

We ate here for Dinner and then breakfast the following morning. There was no wait and very friendly service. The food was great and the drinks were refreshing. Prices were reasonable given the location and I have zero complaints! It’s hard to find a good priced restaurant in the area and for the location this restaurant is at was a great find! Highly recommend if your on a budget to eat.
