As my niece and I walked down Duval Street last night, we both said at the same time..."Boy, that smells good!", as we were passing the Old Town Mexican Cafe. We had to try it, and we're NOT disappointed. It tasted as good as it smelled and the service was even better. Some of the BEST Mexican food that I've eaten in a very long time.
I highly recommend, when in Key West, give them a try...you won't be disappointed! 💯💯💯

I don’t do a lot of reviews, but for this place I had to. I have been to a lot of Hispanic food restaurants across America, and this is at my top 10 best food places of all time. Corona on draft, reasonable prices for the area, very tasty food, and seating that is fantastic and not crowded. If I ever find myself down in the Key’s again, I will be making my way over. Malika was my waitress and she was fantastic, if you aren’t sure what to eat just ask her for a suggestion.

It has been far too long to have gotten out and about. We decided to travel by car which brought us to Key West. With still being a little concerned about crowds, out doors was perfect. We love Mexican food and thought we would give it a try. We were very happy we eat here. Usually you can count on chips but our start was not great. The chips seemed a little stale. Oh no bad choice, but wait. The food was great! Frankly the food is what we came for. It was Taco Tuesday so we had a few as Appetizers and wow. Next the main course and I had the chili relleno and it rocked! Full of flavor and

Great patio, great Happy hour specials.
We stopped for some drinks and appetizers and we loved the atmosphere and the happy hour prices. The waitstaff was very friendly and very helpful. We had two dogs with us and they promptly brought water bowls for them without asking.
The guacamole was VERY SALTY...to the point that I could not eat it....I barely dipped some with a tortilla chip and that was still too much ... Too bad.
The nachos had a good appearance and a nice spicy jalapeño pepper on top...that was great... I thought the dish was too cheesy to the point that I did not enjoy

Food was really great! We both ordered the fried fish tacos because it seemed like almost every other table had them. They were good, but I now know I'm a grilled fish taco kinda girl. Everything was fresh & you could tell made there. The salsa was a bit on the hot side, but had a great flavor. I think next time I will try one of their burritos, they looked amazing!

Visited with my family on our vacation to Key West. We are vegetarian and my family does not eat eggs as well. Servers were accommodating (they have an entire vegetarian section on their menu).
We ordered the grande burrito, veggie tostadas, black bean tacos, guacamole, and veggie tamales. To drink, we got virgin frozen pina coladas which were really good.
Our favorites were definitely the burrito and tostadas. Place is pretty expensive (our bill for four ended up being $100+) but good atmosphere and decent food.

Run in to escape the sudden shower, and so glad we did. Service was fast and excellent. Ordered the Chili Rellano. First time ever having this dish. Was awesome. Seasoning was just right. Little oily but it was fried after all. Husband had the soft tacos. He said they were great. One of the better places to eat in Key West.

What a fantastic experience! Came here with some girlfriends for a bachelorette party, and start to finish, had amazing food, drinks, and experience. The owner, Gail, came to greet us and even bought a round of shots for our celebration. Thank you for such a great evening. Attached is a picture of my delicious snapper.

Wow. Wow. Absolutely great food. I decided to swing in during their happy hour today. My wife and I ordered a couple drinks and the calamari appetizer and the churrasco with rice and beans. Hands down the best calamari we have had. We can really appreciate the hint of heat from the Chile ancho. The churrasco was cooked to our liking. The chimichuri was great on the meat. Beans and rice were a fantastic touch. BTW. Calamari was so good had to order a second plate with another beer to rinse it down. This is by far the best restaurant out of 6-7 during my visit to Key West. Friendly service

We stopped in for an appetizer and margaritas. Service was great! I went with the Skinny Margarita and my boyfriend got the Jalapeno Margarita. A complimentary basket of chips and salsa arrived quickly. The chips were warm, crispy and the salsa was more like a pico de gallo but tasty. We also ordered a queso fundido. The Margaritas were a big let down so we only had one each. I didn't enjoy the flavor of either of them. Mine was very watered down. The queso fundido, however, was very good. Piping hot cheese with chorizo and tortillas on the side. Our server brought us more salsa and

Great little Mexican restaurant in Key West. The service in the food were really good. Strong drinks. It's a small restaurant so it fills up rather quickly. We sat at the bar because there were no tables available. They do take reservations, but we did not make any so our only choice was to either wait or go to the bar. We went to the bar and certainly enjoyed the service we had there. Will definitely be going back.

This was excellent!! Went in only for chips and salsa and a Pepsi and after a while decided on the combo fajitas. This is an outdoor dining area decorated with lights and cute decor and beautiful live roosters around the dining area which is amazing to watch. Staff in masks. Food was excellent! Will definitely return!

Food****
This restaurant is not a strictly vegan or vegetarian restaurant, but they were more than accommodating with changing dishes around and making sure we were happy with our food! We ordered the Spinach and Vegetable burrito and asked them to add black beans and Spanish rice; which they did free of charge! The strawberry margaritas were excellent as well and they even offer to-go drinks!
Service ****
As they were super accommodating with their menu, provided chips and salsa right away and had extremely quick service, they received a great review. COVID regulations
