River's Bend

Came on a Friday with a reservation. Busy place. Found a couple seats at the bar and had great cocktails. Seated at 7 exactly on time and ordered soon after. Very nice salad bar - something I haven't seen in a long time. I went different with Salmon in a bourbon glaze which was quite good. My wife had a delicious pork chop.

The problem for our meal was the hour wait for our entrees. Fortunately they were fresh from the kitchen. Our plates weren't cleaned up for a solid 30 afterwards with only 1 refresh on water and drinks. Yes it's time to be patient, yes it was a busy

Always a great place to go for dinner or even just drinks. Very prompt and friendly service. Seated promptly at our reservation time. Waitress took our orders right away. Salad bar has good selection. Food was excellent.

We ended up here after reading the reviews and previewing the menu.
It's a cute little steakhouse. Denise, our server, was fantastic! The steaks and Alaskan crab legs were delicious. Everything else was OK.
As others said, one downside was that the steak prices aren't listed anywhere, so you're taking a stab in the dark. Luckily, we weren't surprised by the bill when it came. It was on par with other steakhouses. I would recommend River's Bend, and I'd stop by again.

Let me start by saying I have been going to Rivers Bend for probably 40 years. I've seen owners come and go and this last owner has been amazing! We have not seen him in the last several visits and it's starting to show. First off what we love: the atmosphere is fantastic, the Edge Water room is absolutely the best setting, the bar is always hopping, the salad bar is incredible, and the staff are usually fabulous. Tried this place out for the very first time recently. The only negative was the salad bar. It wasn't horrible, but I feel it could have had better curbside appeal lol.
Anyway, steak wasn't too bad. We asked for cook to be medium and it was unfortunately not consistent [one was perfect and the other came out medium well], but the outside of the steak was great! The appetizers were great and the window seating at night with some lightning across the water made for a nice view.
I would probably go back again, but would be eager to compare to other comparable fine dining.

I was staying up in Green Bay and wanted to treat my friend to a nice dinner. We're from Chicago so we have a lot of great restaurants to choose from. This place was amazing! Overall ambiance was very nice. Not too fancy, not too casual. It has a supper club feel to it. This was the best meal both of us have had in quite some time. The food and service was unlike any other. Even on a busy Saturday night we were greated by friendly faces and in a timely manner.
I highly recommend calling ahead and making reservations. This place is worth every penny. The food is very delicious and high quality. The next time I visit, I will be having dinner here.

This place is so pretty. Every staff member were awesome. Our food and drinks were ultimate. We were in Green Bay for a week. We came here twice.

River's Bend is one of our favorite spots to go for a great dinner. The bartenders are always so much fun and very skilled at their craft. Salad bar has great variety. The view is the best part! On a rare occasion we have had a less than par meal but almost always the food is excellent.

Was at the restaurant last month and had a great time. Came back last week and found the owner implemented a "supply chain' fee on all sales (both at the bar and in the restaurant). This is terrible. Just raise prices...don't act like a utility company which buries fees on its customer's bills that are simply margin enhancements. I get inflation is here, but this is not how to deal with it. Disappointed!

River's Bend is a very large classic Wisconsin supper club with everything you would expect. The service is good, food good, atmosphere good. It has an operating salad bar (rare nowadays) and classic menu choices such as walleye, prime rib, cheese curds, etc. The big surprise on my most recent visit was a sham charge on the bill called "supply chain economic charge." What? You read that right. The owner has decided to slip in an extra charge, not noted on the menu or anywhere else, to bolster his profits. This of course, is the preeminent football town. But I will use an Olympic analogy. I didn't take bronze, silver, or gold, I took MEAT! The filet mignon was amazing. Nice warm pink on the outside and an amazing crust! A word on the cocktails. Fantastic, "what could go wrong with an Old Fashioned?" (If you know the reference let me know) Answer? Nothing! My Old Fashioned preference, bourbon, sour, with mushrooms. I will visit Rivers Bend every time I come to Green Bay.

What an amazing beautiful spacious place to dine. Menu was great for the experienced eaters and also for a very picky eater like myself. They have a small salad bar for you to pick what you would like. My most favorite thing is the location of this restaurant right on the river. Beautiful scenery in the day and at night when they light up the tree line along the river. I vote this as a must try and must return to place to eat.

I went here upon a recommendation. The hostess greeted me with a smile and within 1 minute I was brought to my table. The waitress came, I ordered a nice bottle of wine and the pan fried walleye. I wasn't dressed the best but got no strange looks. The salad bad was typical and the only thing I would suggest is a better lettuce instead of iceberg. The ambiance was very nice and somewhat upscale but still inviting. A river runs alongside the restaurant which provides awesome views. The food was excellent and the staff was so nice. The sauteed shrimp was delicious as well as the crab cakes. The carrot cake was phenomenal. When you add in the view, you can't beat this experience.

First don't forget to reserve a table. Second Really good food, I had this pasta that reminded me of a fajita & Alfredo mixed. Surprisingly very good, the grilled chicken in it OMG YUM! The best meal I have every enjoyed! We had a filet steak with the best double baked potatoes and roasted asparagus. Potatoes were very light and fluffy. Coffee was very good. The dinner rolls were yeasty and they had whipped cinnamon butter to put on them. There was a fresh salad buffet with many toppings and the cottage cheese was really fresh. We were seated in the room looking out on the river. Our server was a wonderful waitress. Kudos to all of you. This is the sweet spot. Oh yes, the carrot cake was delicious!

We had dinner recently on a Friday evening. The restaurant was very busy. It is best to have a reservation. Everything was very good, salad bar is best in the area & very fresh. The staff was hustling and very friendly. I would recommend Rivers Bend to anyone looking for delicious dinner in a nice clean updated supper club.

Really sad, my wife and I went out to eat here and were seated. Then we sat for 20 minutes while three other tables were seated around us and orders taken, while we sat with no water or drink orders.

It will be awhile until we give them another try...

The food, service and drinks are good. I have ordered white wine (they have conundrum) a few times here and its too warm for my liking. This lst time i forgot they served it warm I couldn't finish it. Stick with reds or
mixed drinks. Definitely recommend!

First time here, and it was not a bad visit. Of course Saturdays are the main stay of most Supper Clubs, and they can get rather busy.

We had reservations at 6 and everything was setup and ready to roll when got there. We were greeted by our friendly server and our drink orders were taken quickly. Again it was prime time Supper Club action so the drinks were a little delayed, but delicious. The Bloody Marys were tasty, and the rum runner was also well received.

Kudos to the staff for the wedding gift to our newly weds. It was a small wedding and the dinner was their reception, perfect
