This is a regular stop for our Green Bay family members, who proclaim it has the best booyah in the area. Booyah is a type of stew and a regional favorite - an upper Midwestern thing. It is usually cooked over the course of a few days and made in large vats/kettles that can serve large groups.
We've stopped in a handful of times and the food and service have always been consistently good. One of my favorites is the steak philly sandwich which comes with plenty of onions (and peppers if desired), tender steak and enough cheese for each bite. And I typically can't resist ordering a bottle

Food was good, service not so much! Waited for at least 10-15 minutes before someone took our drink order. I actually had to raise my hand to get the attention of the staff. They were not busy.
I watched the staff and couldn't believe how slow and unaware they are to their customer base. It would be unfair to say everyone as one older woman was doing the majority of the work. One of five people isnt bad I guess.

This place is a great place to go eat. They have excellent food selection. They have homemade desserts. You can get a alcoholic drinks if you would like. Serving sizes are very good. The food very good. The prices are very reasonable. Staff is friendly. It's casual dining and they have a banquet hall for bigger events if needed. It is the Rite Place for alot of great reasons.

The food was okay. I would not recommend the mashed potatoes. The smothered chicken was quite good. But the restaurant did not include any cutlery or napkins for our carryout order. It also took awhile to get the attention of the restaurant staff. I don't think this was the staffs fault. I think it was more that they were just understaffed. My sympathies go out to the staff working their hardest. I just think they need to employ more people.

Hello perch plate magic. We thought we were going to miss out on a classic Friday evening fish fry before we left Wisconsin, but we couldn't have been more wrong. Thanks to the blue light special crew at Rite's. We actually stopped in to try Booyah when in Green Bay. And that was good/interesting/solid, but the reason to go back is their light cornmeal breading, fresh catch lake perch, and above average fries to complement.
HUGE space with ample seating and a good bar.

A couple months ago my husband and I had our Wedding reception here- it was a great experience! They were very easy to work with, very flexible with our needs (and covid concerns!), and they made it as easy and simple for us as possible. I was completely comfortable putting it all in their capable hands and having one less thing to worry about that day! Service was great, food was great and everyone had a fun time!

Really good food! I had the JJ burger..oh my! Besides being a heart attack waiting to happen it was AMAZING! Brat patty, burger patty and I added bacon. Wow, flavors and sensations that were different and worth trying. The service was great, friendly people and great atmosphere. A great place to come for simple dining and great memories ❤❤

My boyfriend's family and I went for a Friday Fish Fry. As a vegetarian, I got the veggie burger, which was OK. However, I should not be one to judge the food, as it is a fish restaurant, and it was considerate of them to even have a veggie burger in the first place. My boyfriend and his family all loved their fish, and it came with many sides. The waiter was very friendly and easy to talk to. It is a great place to bring young kids, as the children in our group enjoyed going to play the arcade games! Fun environment for a casual fish fry, but I would not recommend going if you are a vegetarian

Perfect little supper club/diner food. The booyah is great and so was everything else we tried. Sunday tends to get really busy so if you're headed in for lunch after church be prepared for a full restaurant. Even when every table is full the service is great and the food is always at our table quickly and is hot and fresh. Their prices are great and you'll get a lot of food for the money. We will be back again and again.

Ordered the Jumbo Cheeseburger and yellow cheese curds and it was delicious! I am glad that I gave them another chance as my first time wasn't the best. My wife and daughter also enjoyed their meals, they both had burgers as well and said that they were delicious. The staff was super friendly as well.

Last minute decision to head out on a Friday night for dinner. Looked for a place without a crazy wait and a diverse menu. The Rite Place did not disappoint. Classic Wisconsin fish fry with options for the non fish eaters. Menu is full of bar staples. Large beer selection. Seating in the bar area is kind of sterile and not cozy. Been here before for holiday buffets and was not impressed. A typical dinner out seems to be where they excel.

One of the most vile meals I've ever had the mispleasure of encountering. After wading through a menu of fried everything I settled on the grilled chicken breast with roasted potatoes and veggies.
When it finally emerged from the kitchen nearly 30 minutes later it was obvious the 'roasted' potatoes were deep fried to reheat them as they were are blackish/brown color and oozed fry oil when I pressed on them. I took two bites of an overly salted and buttered chicken breast, that was oddly almost perfectly round, and I knew I was done with this place. They are apparently more concerned

I remember going to the Rite Place quite a few times when I was a kid, mainly for wedding or funeral events, delicious chicken dinners! Since we moved to Allouez, our family rediscovered the Rite Place and it is now our favourite go to place for good meal. The prices are great and the atmosphere is casual, we have never had a meal we didn't like. Try the chicken booyah! It's great for take out. Chicken dinners and fish fry is really good and good burgers. The staff is friendly and attentive even when the place is packed.
