Dr. Maleki grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After graduation, she moved back to Boise with Dr. Linenberger to begin her veterinary career.
Dr. Linenberger is from Bainbridge Island, Washington and received his Bachelors degree in Zoology from The University of Washington. In 2004, He received his Veterinary Doctorate degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed his clinical training at UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Everett is the son of a small animal veterinarian and as a result his love of animal medicine started very young. He grew up in his father's practice having started working for him at age 14. His experiences in Veterinary medicine are varied and many and have shaped the Veterinarian he is today.
As the daughter of a veterinarian, Dr. Fiona Lee (formerly Dr. Fiona Caldwell) grew up playing in kennels with bandage material and tongue depressors. Eventually this turned into a passion for animals and veterinary medicine. After completing her undergraduate degree in Biology and Chemistry at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon Fiona received her veterinary degree at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado in 2007.

Dr. Lee, Hannah the tech, and Stephanie the receptionist are top notch. We had a crested gecko emergency (that literally cannot be googled!) and Stephanie and Hannah were so incredibly caring, warm, and comforting. Dr. Lee preserved Yoshi’s quality of life and he is going to be the happiest one-eyed gecko around. Thank you for not only seeing our pet, but caring for him too!

Spectacular vet. I had to bring my chinchilla in for an assessment and they were so willing to work with my crazy unpredictable work schedule so I could get him back in for a follow up appointment. I would recommend this vet to anyone.

I would love to give this place five stars, if it weren’t for the rude older woman that seems to manage the front desk.
It’s a shame that a vibrant, passionate and sweet staff is met with someone so undiscerning and venomous: if you don’t meet this woman’s need for control, you are talked down to and treated like someone that isn’t coming in to pay for a high end trip to a beautiful vet. We have had to use this vet for the good, bad, and ugly; please consider training for discretion and kindness for those that may be going through a hard time or just expect someone to be somewhat considerate

This is the best vet in Boise! The team is always very caring and attentive. I have been able to get my little rat in day of and I always feel like she is in good care here. Everyone truly cares for critters of every kind.

The doctors and environment are great. And love supporting this local business. But you need to be aware of price gouging. They charged me $56 for a $30 over the counter probiotic. That's almost a 100 percent markup from the price at every other place. I spoke with them about this and they said that's our price and seemed to display zero understanding on the outrageousness of the price. This is enough to have me consider a different veterinarian. Definitely will not purchase anything from here. Buyer beware.

I can't say enough great things about Habitat. They've been incredibly accommodating, particularly when I've had sick pets who needed immediate medical care. I recently had a very sick bird and even though they didn't have any open appointments/were very busy, they worked to fit my bird in for immediate care. They were wonderfully caring and sweet throughout the entire process. These people care about animals and their customers, which is invaluable since Boise is growing too quickly; there are way too many new people who've moved here and not enough veterinary services. I will always take my pets

Love the new location! The staff is fabulous- helpful and caring. The well- thought out design of payment in the private exam rooms and exit out the back of exam-room into courtyard- back to parking make this a 5-star place! Best in Boise.

Habitat is our favorite vet we've had through many moves with our deaf, 12 year old pitbull. She had dental surgery here and they were really thorough with checking up on her as well as with giving us a detailed breakdown of possible charges before surgery. Our dog loves all of the staff here. They're organized and really helpful. We'll definitely miss them now that we're moving across the country.

I could get into the details, but I'll spare you. TWICE Habitat has misdiagnosed my dog. They suggested and went through with treatment without running definitive tests. When I brought her to another nearby vet due to Habitat's lazy response to my concerns, my dog was found to have serious ailments and could have been started on the CORRECT treatments months earlier. My experience is not isolated. I know several other people in the area with similar stories. If you have a concern about the health of your pet, DO NOT go here.

I absolutely love this place. My daughter has a parakeet, and HVH has been amazing each time we have brought her in. Everyone is friendly, patient, and indulgent of nervous pet owners 😊 who have many, many questions. The care given is always professional, courteous. I highly recommend them!!

Totally spot on. Communicative, covid aware, but at the same time works to make sure your pet is taken care of appropriately.

We got a "covid dog", as we tend to travel, but are mostly stay in place at the moment (well, more than a moment).

Our aussie has "grown up with Habitat", gotten her shots, got spayed, and they are available upon need.

Great place.

I've been very pleased with the services of Habitat. My Mini Australian Shepherd is 5 months old and has gotten her puppy shots at Habitat. I have interacted with two of the vets and both have been very knowledgable answering many of the questions I've had since it's been a long time since I've raised a puppy. They have helped me decide upon a good nutrition diet, given me info on dog training in the Boise area, and helped me determine the pros and cons of spaying at different ages. And now my Mini Aussie has been spayed. I'm pleased with the surgery, the post-op, and the

Habitat is the vet to see. The whole staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We have had the pleasure to see several different doctors and every single one has made us feel welcomed. Duke was just recently neutered and Dr. Baker made us feel great about our decision. Great Place!

We adopted a puppy and scheduled an appointment with Dr. Anja W. Hunter at Habitat Veterinary Hospital. It's quite the drive for us, about 40 minutes, but we read her bio on Habitat's website and we were very impressed. She did not disappoint and her expertise was worth the drive. In addition to being very kind and gentle with our pet, Dr. Hunter was EXTREMELY knowledgable and took the time to answer my many, many, MANY questions regarding pet care, pet products, pet procedures, etc. She was also respectful of my choices as a pet owner and gave me informed consent for every potential

I had a wonderful experience at Habitat when I brought my cat in for a visit. The vet tech was so kind and friendly. Dr. Everett spent a lot of time with us, answering questions and sharing his insights and expertise. I think my cat received more time and attention than I ever have from a doctor. I highly recommend Habitat, and will happily drive across town from Eagle if I'm ever in need of vet services again.

Just love this place! They are friendly and truly love animals. I took my dog in for vaccines today and they gave him lots of attention, noted his preferences, and were very attentive. We used to go to a different vet closer to our house but the extra drive time is more than worthwhile.

Our dog recently passed away. He was ill for less than a week, and then passed peacefully at home one night. When he had lost his appetite, we took him to Habitat. They found a tumor on his liver, which was inoperable. They treated Fred with the best of care, and, as a Team, discussed alternative methods of treating him and making him comfortable during his final few days. Once Fred passed, they took care of the cremation arrangements. They were professional, caring, and overall awesome. We got a new puppy, and Dr. Everett is her doctor. We wouldn't take her anywhere else. We have

Brought my dogs here for an exam and the male vet was timid, hesitant, and flinched at handling the scared pups. When he went to take their temp they each whipped their head around as if to say "absolutely not", which I am sure is common, yet he acted ASTONISHED that a dog would act like that, backed away and said they tried to bite him.

I'm not going to say my dogs are passive and let a vet touch them enthusiastically, but I'm also not going to let a vet accuse them of lunging and attempting to bite when it VERY much wasn't the case.

Never coming back.

I didn't have the best experience here, though I had high hopes based on the positive reviews and their claims of a holistic approach.

We took my 11 year old dog in last week to check on a leg injury. She almost immediately slipped on the polished concrete floors in the waiting room. When she was being examined, the vet lifted up one of my dog's hind legs, which caused her once again to slip on the smooth floor. This time, however, she splayed out and fell to the ground, hitting her chin on the floor (not fun for a 78 pound senior dog who already has a leg injury).

If you need an avian vet, Habitat is your place! I have several birds and one of them broke his toe recently. Dr. Linenberger was absolutely WONDERFUL with my little lovebird, who was absolutely scared out of his wits after a bad experience at another veterinary hospital. He carefully treated my little guy very gently, so much that my bird wasn't freaked out by the end of the visit. I also had to bring the bird back the following week because his toe had not improved (not Dr. Linenberger's fault) and they didn't even charge me for the follow-up visit. Dr. Baker is also wonderful

I love this place...it really kicks all other veterinarian clinics in this area in the butt!! They are doing awesome work here, and it lines up with my philosophy of taking a more natural approach! I'm a Chiropractor (for humans) and I like to find the cause of the problem and not just throw medication at every little thing. On top of the usual treatments Habitat also offers Acupuncture, Chiropractic, and herbal supplements and vitamins. The Veterinarians at Habitat are very specialized and knowledgeable...AND THEY TRULY CARE ABOUT YOU AND YOUR FURY FAMILY MEMEBER!!! No matter where you live

Where is the ten star rating when you need it?!

I can't say enough good things about Habitat and the staff here. Our youngest pup (15 months old) recently was diagnosed with epilepsy and as a result suffers from seizures. And our oldest pup (13 years old) has an enlarged heart from a heart murmur. All of which happened within a couple months of each other, enough for any pet owner to be on edge.

Dr. Frost has been above exceptional in his attention and care for our dogs. He is very good at explaining everything and walking you through treatment options- easily weighing the pros and cons

I wish I could give 10 stars.
We moved to town last fall with two dogs, one 7 and one over 14. After reading reviews, we chose Habitat and had great first visits with Dr. Maleki, and made sure we were caught up with all our exams and in the know about what to expect in our new environment.

Fast forward to last week when it became obvious that our senior dog was ready to be put down. She had a scary to us and uncomfortable to her health crisis, and I called Habitat. The techs were very helpful, and I spoke to Dr. Frost who helped me understand what was happening. We then scheduled to bring her
