Palmer Ranch Animal Clinic is a well-established, full-service, small animal veterinary clinic serving the Sarasota area since 1991. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external reference laboratories.
Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services: Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs. We have full digital x-rays and in house blood machines. We also have endoscopy and ultrasound, via a board certified veterinarian. Surgical Services: Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures.

A+. I found out that Palmer Ranch helps feral cats. I want to give my business to people like them. I went there with my 2 kitties and they were awesome. My oldest (6) wheezed since I got her (rescue). Other vets could not tell me why. Head infection and antibiotic shot. Week later no wheezing! Also, I am impressed with them calling multiple times with follow up calls. EVERYONE there was awesome. Highly recommend!

I just picked my dogs up from this clinic after being away since Friday. When I picked them up and got them in the car I noticed how matted and disgusting they looked. I can’t believe an animal clinic would… give a dog back looking like this let alone a place with a groomer. It’s just shows pure carelessness and disregard. It makes me wonder if they were neglected for 4 days and thrown in a crate. I’m not even sure what this green substance is. Won’t be returning ever

We are so happy to be back at this wonderful veterinary office. Dr. Neher and Megan took amazing care of us and our two furry loves Tiger and Sasha. We lived here a few years ago and happened upon here as it was near our home. We were so warmly welcomed and every need of my senior cats were addressed and given options. I love the time they take to make sure you feel heard and also earn your pet's trust. The office and patient rooms are clean and there is lots of room in the waiting area. They have a fantastic online system to order your medications and pet food. I love that they texted me

We are new to Florida and needed a place for grooming and vet care. Our little dog who has separation anxiety and is so timid was coddled under their care. She has been treated for a UTI which they helped diagnose with tests and resolve it with medication. Their groomer is fantastic and she always is fluffy and clean. Front office staff are all so comforting and kind. Great place to take your furry friend. Thank you!

I have a very sad experience with palmer ranch animal clinic, they double dosed my cat with a steroid for his allergies, on a friday afternoon ,, by saturday evening he was in the er,, after suffering a heart attack which he was recusitated and brought back from death,, he spent 36 hours in icu, in an oxygen box,, they have medicated him, and i pray he does not to be medicated for the rest of his life,, this also occured 3 weeks after my dog abruptly died,,i took her in because she had started peeing inside the house, i asked what was wrong and they said it was probably a uti,, they took blood

A wonderful experience. Very knowledgeable vet and staff. All compassionate and helpful. My 12 year old Brittany had intestinal distress and with some medication and science diet rx food he was back to regular and I was able to get sleep within a few days. Glad they are close to me. Highly efficient and pleasant office. They do grooming too.

This is a fantastic animal clinic. The staff here are truly committed and treat each pet as if they were their own. They take the time needed to answer all your questions and leave feeling confident in being fully informed on your pet's health. There's NO rushing you through so they can see the next pet. I have taken my 5 lb Yorkie in for several visits and, even with the number of animals they see, they remember her. They are familiar with her little quirks and fears. This is, by far, the best Vet. Clinic/Animal Clinic that I've found in Sarasota.

One week prior to leaving town for a long awaited vacation, our big dog played rough with our 15-year-old, 5 pound Yorkie Pom resulting in a fast surgery for a dislocated hip.
We had to find someone who could check her out and remove the staples 11 days post op. All we had to go on was yelp (thankful for that all the time when we travel) where we saw 2 reviews and both were 5 star.
The people at this facility - whether receptionist, vet tech or doctor - treated us like we had been coming for years. We could not have been treated better or had the TLC even had we been home! Thank you Palmer Ranch
