I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Victor, Dr. Daniels, and the amazing staff here. This practice, and the people who run it and work here, DESERVE FIVE STARS.
1) I've always been seen within a day or so when I've needed any kind of help. I was seen today after cracking a tooth on popcorn.
2) I know the doctors and dental hygiene specialists will be kind and respect my comfort level. They've earned my trust.
3) Pricing is transparent. After being evaluated, I was presented with options and an estimate for the cost.

I have been going to this dentist since he established himself in DC, and have always had positive experiences, or as positive as dentist visits can be. I've had a variety of work done, from cleanings to crowns to fillings to implants. Staff are friendly and professional, office environment is good, but most importantly Terry Victor is highly skilled and competent. O have never been disappointed. I highly recommend him and his practice.

If only all health practitioners followed this health centered mission! It's hard to enjoy a visit at the dentist, but somehow, I did. When you walk into this office, you can feel the difference. The staff exudes health -- a good mood- and explains everything they are doing. Unfortunately they did not take my insurance, but they did submit a claim for me to get reimbursed. Such efforts and people need to be recognized and applauded! Thank you for doing things differently.

Staff and doctors explain procedures very well and have excellent bedside manner. I appreciate the environmentally friendly practices, and the holistic health aspects of their care. I have never had an issue getting an appointment time in my preferred time slots. The standing x-ray machine is also so much more comfortable and easy than the traditional x-rays I have had in the past. Cannot recommend DC Dentist enough!

This dental office is full of money hungry individuals who don't care about you.
I pointed out a tooth to the hygienist during a routine cleaning and then again to Terry Victor... and they both ignored this tooth. Both said they didn't see a problem with it. I told them both, I felt the cracks in the tooth and the increasing sensitivity in this tooth.
They allowed this tooth to remain untouched and ignored. Neither of them told me to use a sensitivity toothpaste either. I couldn't take the ignorance to my discomfort and obvious poor service. I went to a detailed and qualified

Numbers STARS should be 1.5...really bad service but they offered some level of courtesy. Total time wasted 75 minutes, learning experience moderate.
I had HIGH expectation that were DASHED. I was interested in the Holistic concepts they adhere to. Yes this is a time of non-normal activity, but the issues this office imposed on my were over the top, and the receptionist/front desk staff could and should have should have addressed.
I arrived 10 minutes early, was told to take the paperwork to my car to complete (I assumed for reasons of COVID19). So 30 minutes later I call to ask when

I no longer go to this office due to a change in insurance but I had a wonderful experience when I was a patient here. The staff was always courteous, professional and knowledgeable at what they do. I came in for fillings after being told I would need a root canal for a tooth that was giving me a lot of pain. Dr. Victor put in a temporary medicated filling which settled the nerve and totally remedied the problem. I haven't had any pain whatsoever and the filling has since been replaced with a permanent filling. What really won me over was the care they showed my son who was only 4 at the time

I've finally found my dentist! From check in to finish the service I received here was first class!! Check in was smooth and I didn't have to wait long to be seen. I didn't feel rushed and all my concerns were addressed. Supporting an environmentally friendly black owned business is also a plus. I recommend checking your expected fees prior to visiting and also giving yourself time for parking. Great energy! Amazing experience! Thanks, Dr. Victor!

I met Dr. Victor at either the 2015 or 2016 Green Festival. He was very personable in his presentation and offered a raffle drawing for free consultation. A friend and I won the raffle and scheduled our appointments. We were satisfied with the visit. Soon after I scheduled a follow-up and have been a patient ever since.

I've waited an entire year to leave a review as dental work is less frequent than most business visits. I've had several basic exams and extensive procedures performed by Dr. Victor, Dr. Daniel and his associates/hygienists.
I've only had 3 dentists in my lifetime. My childhood dentist retired after I went college and the second dentist I had once I relocated to this area. The DC Dentist makes 3...they took great care of my mom. They are holistic in every way and understand the mouth's pathways and connections to the rest of the body. I have been coming to this dentist for years and love the experience as a whole. They use easy to find organic products, are friendly and knowledgeable, they show genuine concern for each patient and listen to my concerns attentively. Dental work is never cheap and for the price I believe they provide an amazing experience.

A lot of you guys are giving 5 stars because he uses the word "holistic" and the staff smiles at you a lot. Please don't walk but RUN from this place. I came in for a routine check up and was told I needed 4,000 dollars of work done!
I had two back to back pregnancies and had a condition called hyperemesis that causes non stop vomiting for months! I knew I needed work done because HG can cause damage to teeth.
His tech was so passively aggressive and keep taking about fees as I'm sobbing in the chair trying to figure out where I'm getting 4,000 dollars from for this

I gave Dr. Victor 3 years of chances and the experience never improved. At first I liked the eco-friendly vibe, but it does not make up for the unprofessional practices. Each appointment felt like a first time because neither he nor his staff review charts before meeting with patients! I have to re-explain my dental concerns at every appointment. In an instance I mentioned to a tech that we were watching a specific tooth (because they obviously didn't read my chart), but my concern was disregarded.

I've being going to Dr. Victor for about a year and a half now, and every visit is just as pleasant and welcoming as the first. The entire staff is absolutely amazing and Dr. Victor exhibits genuine care for his patient's best interest, rather than seeking opportunities to extract higher costs. I would recommend The DC Dentist to anyone looking for a great dentist and dental office.

I came to this office after going to three other dentist office due to an overlooked bacteria infection that was threatening my life. I didn't like the energy or the tone of the other practices so I decided to find a holistic practice hoping to be treated with kindness while also receiving proper treatment. When I walked in I instantly felt the warmth of the people that work in the office and I knew I made the right decision. Dr. Terry was so informative without being threatening and he put all my worries at ease. I would definitely recommend this dentist office if you don't like dealing

He is one money hungry individual who does not care about his patients , also his so called team members are not knowledgeable, I have more pain on my tooth than I did before I went to his office . And he refuses to fix it. Loser !

I was unsold for an extra cleaning that the office told me would be free through my insurance. I would not have accepted if it would have cost additional money. Months later I received a bill. The billing specialist was extremely unprofessional and blamed me as they only provide "estimates". Just kept asking how I would pay. I will not be returning and would caution those not to trust their quotes and to push back on the upselling that this dentist tries to force on you.

Update: Let me respond to the office here. I did contact the office - 4 times via email. Most emails weren't replied to.
When I asked for documentation regarding the surprise bill amount I was resent my invoice via email. I was also sent another patient's information. I responded to resolve it and to let the office know they sent me another patients info, as I believe that could be a privacy or hipaa violation - however I never heard back.
6 months go by and I receive the same invoice in the mail...which I simply paid to move on. As far as the treatment - It was as frustrating
