Good to my boy saved his life! There great at removing stitches didn't need sedation like the vet at Lacey animal hospital wanted to do! Fresno pet ER removed them in like 10 min tops awesome place! If your pet needs emergency surgery this is the place there a bit pricey but worth it if they can save your fur baby like they did mine!

Took my dog there after 12 years I had no choice but to put her down I don't remember the ladies name it help me but she made us feel so good about what we're doing I definitely recommend this place so comforting and so caring I cannot describe the words also got a card from them in the mail with my dogs paw prints on it seen how sorry they were unbelievable recommend them 100%

My experience here ended up being a sad one.
My 14 year old died here and I'm worried he was surrounded by negative people.
He passed away September 26th, and I have been waiting to hear about his ashes. I was told I should call them, and I did finally. The girl who answered was EXTREMELY rude. Didn't even want to check to see for me, until I told her I was told to call.
She quickly shut me up and hung up.
Hire nicer people who have to deal with the negative news. Because they're really bad with attitude here

This place is ridiculous, my cat was referred here by our regular vet. He was have urinary issues so our regular vet put a catheter in him to drain his bladder and sutured it in place. He then told me to go to pet er to be monitored. So I went. From the beginning I had a bad feeling. The staff was kinda rude. You can't go in with pet to see the vet cause of Covid so a nurse comes out to get ur pet and they call you after dropping them off. I tried explaining to nurse about his suture and catheter and she response with, we know what we are doing, we deal with this every day. Wow! Ok then they

This place has horrible customer service. The employees are rude and not customer friendly. I hate doing business with businesses like this. Please use them as last resort.

Absolutely horrible refused to help my dog!!! He about ripped his nail off his paw pad and they said it wasn't an emergency!! Your job is to help animals why be in business if you refuse to do so!!!!

This place is evil don't ever take your animal here! All they wanted from me was to know how much money I have in my wallet. They don't care about your animal they care about your financial ability to take advantage of while your animal dies!

There are not enough nice things I can say about this place. I lost my cat very suddenly and didn't know what to do, so I immediately called the Fresno Pet ER and I was inconsolable. I was frantic and sobbing on the phone and they were very calm with me and told me to come down and they would do everything they could to help my baby. I got there and he was already long gone. The tech who came out to help me was the absolute sweetest. She stayed with me and made sure I was okay. They let me say one final goodbye to my baby inside the office, and even let me wait so my husband could say goodbye

We unfortunately had the sad task of euthanizng our 17 year old Lhasa Apso
"Sophie" as she was having neurological problems and could not see or hear very well. I called a number of places to find out procedures and prices for the procedure. I called our regular Vet Service (Bullard and Marks) who has been treating our pet for years. $150 to put her to sleep, another $150 for the cremation (no ashes) and this is who treated her for years. I also called the Emergency Vet on Blackstone $150+150 +94 for a Dr. exam.

Bumping this place up to three stars . It's been a year since my visit and last review and so much has changed. I know I mentioned in my last review that my pup wouldn't need surgery for her injury and had I been in a more calm state, I might've decided on getting a second or even third opinion. Turns out my dog (now a little over a year) will need surgery on her leg that has since developed arthritis. I wish I would've listened to the woman at this Pet ER who suggested I take her to a specialist ASAP and that might've saved my pup from what she's dealing with now

Took one of my dogs in this week during the evening. Checked in came and they came and got my aggressive dog like it was no big deal. Was very grateful for that. They have great customer service, very friendly staff. I was hysterical they were very calm and should empathy. You are not allowed to go in with ur dog or at least I wasn't but they called me from time to time to let me know how my dog was doing . I've brought my fur babies here so many times. The staff is wonderful and so caring. I wouldn't go anywhere else. My two dogs and cat have been fixed, treated for ear infections to having major surgery and each time was wonderful. i Especially love getting their Christmas card in the mail each year. Thank you MVC for your care over the years.

I brought my dog in for an ear infection. They cleaned the wrong ear and sent me home with allergy meds. When I brought her back they charged me again and canceled the allergy meds. They also tried to lie and tell me both ears were cleaned the first time when I clearly had pictures proving that they messed up.The doctor was rude and cut me off in the middle of talking multiple times. They are despicable people. They took zero responsibility for their mistakes. Your pet is not safe coming here.

Given the prior reviews, I was skeptic, like others might be, and everyone has their own situation, so, I can only tell you mine. Hopefully, my visit will be the first and last not because of the service (quite the opposite), but because of the occasion. After months of watching, my fur-baby went succumbed pretty fast to her disease, and the time had come to say goodbye . Fresno Pet ER was recommended by my normal vet because I was unsure my furry-friend would survive the night, let alone in agony, so the decision was made. This was my first furry-friend, so, you can imagine the distress!

Would not recommend Pet ER unless you have a lot of extra money to spend. We took our cat here for what we believed was a broken leg. Our regular vet (Waterhouse) was booked for the day. We dropped him off at 9:45 in the morning and they said they'd take a look... but wanted us to orally agree to a 500 dollar charge just for looking. Three hours later they had done nothing but give him pain meds and handed us a long list of charges ($1000) for procedures including unnecessary blood tests and checking for internal injuries. There was no way! We picked him up and paid ER fee and for pain

My experience here, was by far the best. From the first initial contact on the phone to Dr.Manbrinder Sidhu treating my little one. He was very patient in explaining the treatments and meds needed for her condition. I felt as if, he treated her, as his own.

This place took my dog in at 3:30am when no else could help us. Our dog had a major seizure and it was our first time experiencing this, so we didn't know what to do. They took care of our girl and stabilized her, kept her overnight and watched her. They handled her with care and took all of our calls, which were many. We are very grateful and thankful to ALL the staff and given the situation we can't complain about any costs. The estimate was straightforward and we knew what to expect. I think people get overly critical about costs and treatment, but we can't forget this is an emergency

The Vets at Fresno Pet ER were able to diagnose my dog after taking her to another vet who was only treating her symptoms. They explained any questions I had about the estimate, and let me know that I could hold off on any procedures until absolutely necessary. I received calls from the Vet explaining everything all results and what treatments my dog would need. My dog was sent home stable with the correct medications. She is doing much better. I am grateful I chose to take my dog here!

So thankful for everyone here! The techs are the real winners here. They are the most kind, understanding, and thorough vet techs I've ever encountered.
There's usually no wait, they'll pick up your animal in the parking lot. They call you back promptly and explains things well.
Another thing- they give you options for treatment and don't make you feel like you have to do the most expensive things!

I cannot say enough good things about the staff at Fresno Pet ER. I felt my baby boxer was apart of their family, not another animal in a cage. Alex and Chris went far beyond my expectations of service. The staff was great providing updates over the 5 day stay. I would highly recommend Fresno Pet ER to anyone looking for an emergency vet.
