For over 35 years, we have been a stable part of the Fresno community. With a recent re-branding in 2018, you will notice new Doctors as well as additional services to compliment the wonderful staff you all know and love. We try to remain a small family practice, with a close knit nursing team that is focused and engaged with each client and pet that enters the hospital.
Doctor Brandt DVM was a member of the faculty of the Veterinary Collage at Kansas State University for 30 years. He practiced equine and small animal medicine in California for 15 years and is Board Certified in Veterinary Theriogenology. Presently he is specializing in small animal reproduction and has a strong interest in small animal medicine.
There is no substitute to regular visits to your veterinarian to detect disease in its early stages as well as to implement vaccination protocols, parasite prevention, dental hygiene and other problems that safeguard your pet from costly and sometime fatal diseases. Your doctor will do a thorough examination from head to toe and discuss nutrition, behavior, care, management, along with any medical needs your animal may have.
We offer several types of dentals procedures, however we are unable to know which one is right for your pet without an oral exam of your pets mouth. We are the only hospital in Fresno to provide a detailed chart of your pets mouth during your consultation, aswell as an estimate of exactly what needs to be done.
Your Puppy should receive a total of 3 or 4-DAPP vaccines (Distemper, Adenovirus, Parainfluenza, and Parvo) 2-Lepto for outdoor dogs that could be exposed to leptospirosis, 2-Bordettela, & 1-Rabies during their first few months starting as early as 8 weeks. Also recently recommended is 2 doses of CIV (Canine Influenza Vaccine) These are considered your puppies core vaccines.

This was Logans first time visiting this animal hospital. The doctor was professional and direct while communicating. The nurses were spectacular, very quick. Both the Dr. and nurse were very nice and let me take a picture of them with Logan.
Prices were affordable. The place looked very clean. Nothing dirty on the walls, or floors, and the place did not smell bad.

$199 for non Anesthesia dental cleaning…. Took 15 minutes, that’s $796/hr… not even a vet doing the cleaning. Not even a phone call to let me know how her teeth looked. No pictures like on their web page. Report paper stated grade 2 for plaque and Tartar. I co operate fully at my dentist and it takes a lot longer to clean my teeth. Don’t expect the paper they give you to provide much information. When I booked I was told they gave a healthcare discount then still charged me full price. I’ll stick with my own Vet clinic, my 2 year old Yorkie came home timid and fearful. I guess you have

Dr. Shahbazi saw our elderly Italian greyhound for the first time for an abscessed tooth. We had extremely good care and we are very satisfied with the results. The whole staff is very friendly and very professional. I would highly recommend their services to anyone.

I have never been so pleased with a veterinarian office as I was with Animal House. The staff was amazing, very helpful very caring. The doctor was amazing, call me at home a couple times to check on my dog see how things were going after having her teeth pulled. And when I walked into that vet office, it did not smell like a veterinarians office at all. The cleanest place I’ve ever been in. Not one smell of animals. The best example of a veterinary office that cares about their patients and fur parents. My Brody was very sick. Dr. Brandt and his assistant (sorry I forget your name) were so attentive.l, empathetic and sympathetic. The connected with me and my situation. They put together a treatment plan that accommodated my financial situation but that would help me help my baby. They were amazing. All the staff is amazing and so caring. They understand and feel the fur baby as well as fur parents. I will never go anywhere else.
