It's the second time I have a bad experience at this place. This place came highly recommended from a friend and I was looking forward to going, specially as a first time dog owner. The Vet (female) was very rude and scolded me about not giving my puppy all the necessary shots. She even blamed me for "declining" a Corono shot I wasn't even offered in the first place when I first went (I have the paper to prove I didnt decline it). I told her I couldn't afford all my dogs shots just yet, but I was eventually going back to get the rest. She made me feel bad about not being able to afford them all

Very bad customer service, over book themselves and don’t get back to you with test results until you call and complain. Then you get a rude “Vet” arguing with you instead of finding a solution to make a pet parent satisfied with their service . And then call your dog old after they take your money when they are old themselves . Will never return or suggest this poorly run Vet office . Only suggest if you are desperate and no other Vet is available. Good luck

I helped my neighbors out by taking their pregnant dog there because she wasn't feeling so well.
I waited outside until they had a room ready (this was their Covid protocol.) When they were ready they called me and we went in.
I found the staff to be very warm and endearing. They took my doggie friend to the back, did an exam, and an xray.
I waited in the dog waiting room. She returned with my doggie friend and the verdict. She was expecting 5 pups and her symptoms were consistent with pregnancy.
The fee was pretty much what I thought it would be. We were on our way within 45 minutes.

Couldn't be more grateful to these amazing veterinary professionals. The compassionate, helpful, considerate staff went above and beyond to help my dog and I through an unfortunate situation. The trustworthy and knowledgeable DVM performed delicate surgery on my pup and only hours later he's eating and on the mend. Thank you all a million times over 🙏

We brought our cat Chico in with a very badly ingrown dew claw. We were very anxious going in because we’ve never had very good experiences with vets due to our cat being very aggressive.
Our anxiety was immediately eased once we met our vet technician. She was very comforting and positive about the whole procedure going well. Our cat did have to be sedated which we fully anticipated. The claw was removed and Chico woke up with no issues. My cat is already moving 100 times better than before. We are so thankful to the great staff at Alum Rock Pet hospital.

I adopted a couple of senior/geriatric cats a little over a year ago, and started coming to Alum Rock Animal Hospital after being pretty unimpressed by the folks at Story Road. The service here is excellent and the entire staff is very friendly and accommodating. The vets are thorough and informative and happy to answer all of my questions. I… brought my 14 year old cat, Floyd, here on a Sunday after he was very ill early in the morning. The young lady that was at the front desk to helped me register my doggy and get her shot was very sweet and very helpful! they took very good care of us and prices we're not expensive. Good quality service is very rare considering I got all my dogs shots for less than $100. They definitely have a lifelong client

No one should have to go through a vet refusing to assist a little dog in labor that needs help this Vet wants $1600.00 to help this poor little dog with it life in jeopardy ...Wont even take money down and payments. Will Not work with you in a time of need....No child should have to witness a vet deny her puppy help unless you pay such a large impossible amount of money!!
