The staff was patient and kind to my bird who bites. I got my health check and my bird was able to fly with me.

Staff is very friend. Kind to pets :) my mom has been going here for her parrot forever.

Thank you to Wildwood Veterinary Hospital for taking care of my precious bird. She broke the tip of her beak and was bleeding. I called all night to various vet places and to no avail was I able to get help for her until this morning. I had to bandage her beak with some flour on wound last night so that she didn’t continue bleeding. Thank you specially to Dr Azevedo! And, to her team!

Absolutely incredible vet clinic for exotic animals! They are reasonably priced compared to other clinics and more skilled. Dr. Tina Peak has been excellent with my Guinea Pigs. She is very down-to-earth, knowledgeable, talented, and honest. She recently treated my Guinea Romaine when she stopped eating, and by the next day she was back to her old self eating and pooping all day :-)

The bird vet saved my parrots life from somthing she ate. She is very well informed and generous with answering questions

I was blown away by my experience at this clinic. I’m writing this review 2+ years after my visit as I’m still extremely thankful for my experience. One of my rabbits, Robin had an eye abscess and needed emergency surgery. The dr. Made sure to remind me the risk of surgery for rabbits especially since mine was an old man but he did great and pulled through and I got updates throughout the surgery. Unfortunately other health issues which were unrelated arose a while later but the dr. Helped give me comfort in knowing I did everything I could to save him. We've been working with Dr. Sanders for many years and absolutely recommend him for his reptile and amphibian knowledge -- he's successfully treated many frogs, snakes, and lizards for us! I trust him to do the right thing for my pets.

My experience with this facility is limited (yea, healthy parrots!), but I will always be grateful for the expertise of Dr. Sanders & Dr. Peak each time I sought trusted treatment. Just yesterday, I discovered a swollen area near my 35+ yr. old Blue Fronted Amazon parrot's tail and deduced that it was an ingrown feather; however, when I was unable to remove the twisted feather and feared excess bleeding if I persisted, I called Wildwood in the evening & left a message. First thing this morn, I received a call but was distressed to learn that first available appt. was about 2 weeks

Our bird was almost dying but not even taking an appointment. I took her in for check up & nail clippings she walked out limping I asked them what happened they said nothing happened & I can tell she was in so much pain I kept calling them they said their fully booked the next a day later she died. We are so so sad and can't believe this.

When my regular vet stopped taking g appointments and the hospital could not see my cockatiel with an eye injury, a friend recommended Wildwood. They got me in the same day and my bird's injury was treated right away. Let's just say...I have a new, more responsive veterinarian. Thank you Wildwood.

Dr Sanders took care of my feathered friends years ago. I was very impressed with his hand/eye coordination when handling my budgie.

You guys... if my first review didn't emphasize how much this vet office truly cares I hope this does. Dr Chris Sanders, went as far as to make a contribution to an organization working to better our planet. Delilah passed away back in October and Dr Sanders is still thinking about her and it definitely put a smile on my face. I can't say enough how appreciative I am of this vet office. I will forever bring my small pets here.

Dr. Peak performed a spay on my female guinea pig. We were having such a hard time finding good care with Covid shut downs, but we were able to get into Wildwood within a reasonable time, and Dr. Peak had been recommended by a few folks we know. I am so glad we moved care.

A month ago my beardie started violently coughing. I called Wildwood right after they closed and spoke with Susan. I explained to her what was going on and she could hear the desperation in my voice. Even though they were booked up for the next few weeks, she asked me to bring him in first thing the next morning and the doctor would fit us in between her other appointments . I was so relieved that I cried. I could tell she was a true animal lover and wanted to get my little guy help.

I just got a cockatiel 2 weeks ago and really needed to find an avian vet in San Jose or nearby. Unfortunately it seems like the closest avian vets are in San Francisco and Berkeley so I had to find a good general vet who sees lots of parrots and knows their birds.
I was looking at Mickaboo Parrot Rescue website and they have a list of vets they recommend for bird owners in the Bay Area. I saw Wildwood on the list and they recommended Dr. Sanders. Great office with caring vets. I take my chicks and chickens here and have always received great service and kind office staff.

This place is a disappointment. From the time I called to the time I followed up about what to do with my animal, they were rude. They also tried to charge an emergency fee which was at an astronomical price. When I tried to discuss symptoms and options, the woman I spoke with cut me off several times and said she didn't have time. They clearly also don't care about the animals well being. It's more about the money to them. Go to Adobe. They care about your animals and their owners and have an amazing bedside manner.

We've been talking our pets here dog and reptiles, for over 16 years. Very trustworthy vet and staff, who really care about the animals.

Dr. Peak is the very best avian vet I have ever taken my parrot to.
We have had him for 23 years and have seen a few different vets for him over the years.
Dr. Peak patiently gave me much information I had never been told about before. She was so gentle and sweet with my little guy.
She is by far the best avian vet we have ever seen.

Love this place! The staff really cares about pets and they do not rush the appointments. I feel very comfortable bringing my two birds there. I appreciate the education I receive regarding proper care of my birds. Highly recommend!

I love this animal hospital. Dr. Sanders is a wonderful, knowledgeable, and compassionate vet. When one of my bearded dragons contracted yellow fungus, I visited several vets in an attempt to figure out what was wrong. He was the one who was able to figure it out. Unfortunately, it was too late for my Thug Firecracker Knievel. He didn't make it. But, now I'm taking my second beardie to Dr. Chris. She has also been very ill, but, is currently in great hands. I have vets who are closer to my home, but the drive is worth it. These people are the best!

When our loving parrot Johnny got sick I found this Hospital in line. The doctors here along with the rest of the staff we're just wonderful. Although our Johnny didn't make it I was very happy to have found this place

This is an awesome place to take your exotic bird. They are very qualified and extremely hospitable.
My elderly mother and I brought her African grey for a yearly checkup and grooming. I was very happy with the service. They even went as far as filling 24 injection so that it was easy for my elderly mother to administer. I would highly recommend this place!
