Services
We have been offering the foundation to a lifetime of compassionate pet care for more than 45 years. We provide a wide spectrum of services across all our locations, which are available to any of our patients. Pet owners appreciate this full-health-service, progressive facility, which offers the latest technologies in veterinary care.
We develop individualized anesthetic plans based on breed, age, and medical status. Our full range of anesthetic services is formulated by our veterinarians based on each individual pet's needs. Balanced anesthesia provides the best selection of sedatives, pain medications, local and regional treatments, and inject-able or inhaled general anesthetics.
Radiographs, electrocardiograms, and Doppler are among our tools that promote heart health. Cardiology entails many areas of diagnosis and treatment of heart problems. We typically provide cardiac services spanning a physical exam, thoracic radiographs, an electrocardiogram, laboratory blood analyses, an echocardiogram, and Doppler.
By preventing oral disease through early involvement in healthcare, the overall burden is both less costly and ultimately more effective than waiting until your pet has oral deficiencies. Three of our facilities provide extensive dental services for patients of any SVA location.
These include prophylaxis, examination of teeth and gums, polish and fluoride, sub-gingival curettage, root planning, therapeutic periodontal treatments, dental radiology, root canals (Northwest Veterinary Hospital only), and dental extractions.

All our radiographs are evaluated in-house and then sent to radiologists for further review. Radiographs are images produced by x-rays. Radiology is a quick and easy imaging modality that provides details on internal organs and structures. We provide skeletal and soft tissue studies as well as specialized contrast studies.

All of the staff at Ravenna Animal Hospital have been helpful and welcoming. They share a love of animals that is apparent in their kind and competent handling of our dog. I would recommend this practice to anyone seeking veterinary services for their pets.

I came in with my pup, Lucy, for a quick check on a drippy eye. Everyone was super nice and very quick to get us into a room. Lucy is a very very timid pup, especially with men. When Dr. Thompson came in, he immediately sat down on the floor and Lucy went right over to him and let him pet her. That's huge! The exam was quick and easy, we got a treat on our way out, and the staff at the front desk were lovely as well. All in all, a really really nice experience. Thank you!

They are professional and very thorough in their exanimations. During the July 4th holiday weekend, my Frenchie had hives and they were very responsive and scheduled us in right away. Due to our appointment being a few days out, they even requested me to send pictures in prior to see if we needed to come in sooner. They genuinely care and I would highly recommend to anyone!

To Whom It May Concern
I have been a "patient" at the Ravenna Animal Hospital for the last 50 years, taking in my dog, and then my cats. I have always found the staff and the doctors very caring, responsive, and patient in explaining the various pet maladies to me. Also, when communicating with people at the desk, I have had very kind and patient people to talk with. Thank you very much for all the services you provide for me and for the various pet owners in this area, not to forget the animals you care for.
Warmly, Huda Giddens (currently Dali, the cat's, "mother")

This is a hospital in a network of hospitals that honestly have very lackluster operations. When you need service the most you are constantly being slingshotted to different voicemails. Today my puppy threw up worms, I called this hospital and redirected my emergency to the green lake hospitals voicemail because the entire office was in a meeting. The Vets I’ve worked with have all been exceptional but if the reliability and the human aspect isn’t there what’s the point? I’d highly discourage anyone from using this or the network of animal hospitals and look for something else.

I trust Ravenna Animal Hospital above all vets in Seattle for the care of my animals! I have used several other vets in my area for general, uncomplicated care of our dog and cats, but I always come back to Ravenna. The vets are very knowledgeable, and treat your animal gently. I always feel like they view my pet as their important patient.

We have been bringing our adult and senior cats over several years. Our vet is Dr. Neal. She is great! Gentle with our pets and very thorough in gathering information for a diagnosis. She also responds quickly. We saw a substitute vet there once when Dr. Neal was on vacation. He was very competent as well. Referrals to specialists when needed has also been successful. The vet assistants are gentle, patient and caring. The front desk people are efficient and responsive. The animal hospital’s Covid protocols insure safety for all.
