Temporary fillings are different from permanent amalgam or composite fillings because they are "sedative" fillings. Dr. G and Lauren are AWESOME. I happened to be looking for a great dental office in brier creek so I wouldn't have to travel far, and I found this office. From the first phone call with Jennifer to my first office visit, I felt like I mattered! Every thing was explained to me using words I knew, Lauren was so professional I thought she was the dentist and not a hygienist! Dr. G is such a patient sweet individual making me feel like he is just a great human, nothing was rushed with him while he was working on my teeth. I am giving 2 stars only because the hygienist was very sweet. I took my family to the knightdale location for the 2nd time. Unfortunately, I don’t recall the dentist’s name and he is not on the meet the doctor page. First issue-there were no gloves that fit him, so he didn’t actually touch anything in my mouth or my children’s mouths. He just took a quick peek with the eye only. He never used the metal scraper/poker tool. Although unpleasant, I’ve never had a dentist not grab my tongue with gauze to look around until now either. He then tells me that I have 2 cavities. I've been to this office twice. Both times have been very pleasant. Courtney is a sweetheart, I explained to her my fears due to previous dental experiences, she took time to explain what would take place and what I should expect throughout the procedures. They make an effort to get you in sooner if there are cancellations. And so far there have been no issues with billing! Staff from front to back are awesome!

Haven’t been to a Dentist in quite a long time (shame on me) had I known about Stansell Dentistry I would have been at their door sooner.
Everyone was very nice. Although I was very nervous and probably stumbled on some of words, they were all very professional. And that meant a lot. It was a Good Day!

This office was fantastic. I felt like I was well taken care of, everyone was so lovely, and everything was broken down and explained very well. I’m not one who typically enjoys going to the dentist and I feel like I had one of the most pleasant and relaxing experiences. I would recommend this office to all of my friends.

I've been going to Stansell Dentistry for about a year now and have had wonderful experiences with them. I had some significant work that needed to be done, as well as routine care. I've seen Dr. Lu and Dr. Stansell and found them both to be patient, caring, and excellent at their jobs. Everyone on staff has been friendly and helpful throughout each appointment. I would highly recommend them if you're looking for a dentist office that is filled with highly skilled personnel and fair prices, even for those without dental insurance.

Dr. Stansell and her staff are wonderful! I have very high dental anxiety, and they go out of their way to make me feel at ease during every visit. Their staff is friendly and very communicative about the process. All of the dentists are very patient and let you know about their progress during a procedure. They also offer Netflix and Pandora during your visit. After visit care instructions are clear and short. They even offer advice on adjusting daily habits that are not cost prohibitive. I 100% recommend them. They clearly put the patient first.

My kids and I been going to Stansell Dentistry for 5 years and I LOVE this experience. So professional, fast, and nice staff. I never have to wait more than 2-3 minutes after I check-in to start my visit. They even provide Netflix during your cleaning which is a good distraction for me and even better for my kids. I would highly recommend it!

Courtney, at the Brier Creek office, has been my professional hygienist for 2 years. She has knowledgeable skills, is professionally personable and gentle. I also get checked by Dr. Lu each visit. She conducts a thorough examination, offers advice and doesn't pressure you to proceed with dental work. This office is following all COVID-19 safety protocols and I have felt 100% safe in their care. I highly recommend Stansell Dentistry-Brier Creek!

I've been going here for years and it used to be absolutely amazing. Over the past couple of years it's gotten very crowded to the point where patients are rushed in and out and I have to leave multiple messages to get a response. Everyone there is nice and courteous but it just seems they are accepting more patients than they can handle, and they aren't valuing their loyal customers.

I was a previous client here and had to leave due to a change in insurance which they didn't accept at the time. Since then, I've had to switch dentists 3 times. The reason... the bar was high coming out of Stansell and was hard to find the same level of service. I finally have switched to insurance that is accepted by Stansell so of course I came back. Upon calling the front desk on Wednesday for an issue I wanted to get looked at for a 2nd opinion, I was given an appointment with Dr Kat the following Monday.

They were efficient but prior to making my appointment I asked if they took my dental insurance. They said they did but at the time of my appointment they said I was "out of network." I wish I knew this. I submitted all my paperwork including insurance details weeks prior to my appointment just to avoid this. I went forward with my dental check up but had to change dentists knowing that I had to have fillings. I was not willing to pay more for services when I could go to an in network dentist. It was a disappointment because I liked the office

This was, quite easily, the best dental experience I've ever had in my life. From the very first to the last exchange, my expectations were exceeded. I initially reached a while before my appointment and talked to Ashlyn, who verifies insurance and likely way more. She forwarded all the new patient forms I'd need to reduce the wait time once I arrived. I had difficulty receiving my X-rays from my previous dental office and Ashlyn offered to step in to help.
