Spicy shrimp roll, salmon tempura roll and avoc cucumber roll served with Miso Soup, Salad. 1 Yellow tail, scallion hand roll, 1 shrimp tempura hand roll, 1 spicy salmon asparagus hand roll, 1 tuna avocado shiso hand roll. Served with Miso Soup, Salad. Sharp, dry and light bodied, From start to finish all ingredients and processes are USDA certified organic.

We decided to compare our usual sushi place which is My Tokyo in Tarrytown to Mike’s sushi. There is no doubt that My Tokyo in Tarrytown is much much better in every way. Mike’s sushi has no personal space to eat your food you’re on top of the next person the service is questionably unreliable we didn’t get served wine until we were more than halfway through the dinner. The price is for more expensive and in every comparison My Tokyo in Tarrytown blows this place away bye bye Mike’s we won’t be back.

Still wondering why I haven't found out about this place until now... The service was quick and polite, the food was hot and fresh, and they took care when I girlfriend told them about her fish allergy. (Who goes to a sushi spot with a fish allergy???) The Kamikaze Rolls for awesome! Crunchy and spicy! And they Pork Gyoza was so good that I ordered 2 servings of it. I am definitely coming back to try more of the menu items.

The pork dumplings and the spicy Tuna and spicy shrimp sushi was great. We especially recommend the tempura ice cream and the tempura green tea cheesecake!

Our cravings striked today and we got this review response on the way to the restaurant! We decided to get the pork Dumplings, spicy Tuna, salmon skin, sweet potato, salmon tempura, and S&S roll which were all delicious. And we're about to order the tempura chocolate ice cream and the tempura green tea cheesecake! This Friday night couldn't be better! Can't wait to try the omakase one day!

I tried this place when I first moved to Dobbs.... It wasn't good. I recently decided to give it another chance. What I don't understand is that it always seems to be packed out front and with pickup orders. In my opinion it is comparable to super market sushi. My spicy tuna roll was basically tuna mush stuffed into a roll... gross. I had also ordered garlic broccoli on the side and they literally served me steamed broccoli with some minced garlic thrown on top. I wish it was good.

Mike never disappoints. He is creative, personable, and a master at his art. I got the Omakase again and here's how it lined up:
1) it started with smoky Oysters, shucked and plump
2) Horse mackerel with fresh wasabi in a dipping sauce
3) Japanese amberjack with truffle and caviar
4) Garlic lobster with sprinkles of edamame where the roe would be
5) Crispy Horse mackerel with green tea salt
6) Foie gras sushi
7) Uni, scallop and ossetra caviar
8) A sushi medley of toro, shrimp, salmon, uni, red snapper, lobster, and an eel roll with a clam soup to cleanse the palate between each piece.

I had such a yummy happy experience at Sushi Mike's with my husband. We were greeted so warmly by a gentleman who I believe must have been the owner.
We initially sat outside for dinner but asked to be reseated when the mosquitos started to bite. This request was swiftly accommodated.
When the food came out we were overjoyed. Everything was so tasty and our bellies were so full.
Portion size was healthy and the food tasted fresh.
Can't wait to return!

This place used to be awesome, I don’t know what happened. But for starters they got the order completely wrong. I asked for extra soy sauce and spicy mayo (I’m happy to pay for it), and they did not add it in. When I went to pick it up I literally had to fight for extra soy sauce and spicy mayo. And on top of everything else, the rolls were so sloppily made they fell apart. They are really dropping the ball in this place now a days, and it’s such a shame because they used to be one of my favorite sushi places. I hope they turn it around.

What can I say about sushi Mike's that already hasn't been said in the past. This place has served constant great sushi and Japanese dishes for 25 years. I come here a few times a year every year. I've never had a bad meal here yet. The people who run this place are very efficient and the portions are very fresh and the heats are higher quality than you get another places. I tried sushi mikes for the second time, and WOWZA!! Everything was amazing. I got the spicy tuna with crispy rice, and this time the rice was cooked/crispy in a much better way- SO yummy. I tried the dumpling soup, delicious, and the mushrooms were a great addition. They included extra soy sauce per my request, which made my meal complete perfection. I'm obsessed, and currently placing my order for another round tonight. So excited!

Sushi Mike's always has the most appetizing, fresh sushi. I have been coming here for years and it is always on my list of places to eat. I recommend their "Out of Control Roll", "Rainbow Roll", and the bento boxes. The staff are warm and welcoming, especially Mike and his wife. They make it a point to remember your name. There is an option for outdoor seating on the sidewalk outside the restaurant and all staff are very cautious about Covid-19 regulations.

Tried to order delivery through Seamless / Grubhub. Waited an hour and a half and called the restaurant. They did nothing but lie to me and blame Seamless about them missing the order. If you make a mistake own up to it and get it fixed. I can't eat excuses. Shameful customer service.

Finally, today, we were nearby, hungry and decided to try this highly popular sushi place in the parts. (We are from Yonkers)
My wife and I appreciated the precautions they took like hand sanitizer station the plexiglass and the social distancing that was enforced while we placed an order to go.
Wait time was minimal - 10 minutes or so.
We ordered the kamikaze roll -Sushi Mikes Special Roll - a Shrimp Tempura

Sushi Mike’s is my favorite sushi restaurant in Westchester and of its kind anywhere. It’s the perfect spot for creative rolls that stick primarily to traditional Japanese ingredients—think multiple types of fish, seaweed, and tobiko, but no strawberry in your roll. The fish quality is great, the complimentary green tea is delicious, and the odd sea themed mural will make you smile. I’ve been coming here for more than a decade and try to stop by every time I am in Westchester!
