Immediately after a drunk driving arrest, police officers will place a temporary hold on your driving privileges. This means you will only have up to 10 days to request an administrative per se hearing with the DMV. Failure to request this hearing could result in the suspension or revocation of your driver's license.
Upon arrest for a suspected DUI, California law allows the DMV to suspend your license. This can be incredibly inconvenient because it hinders your ability to get to work, shuttle your children, and conduct your daily routine. Under the 10-Day Rule, you may be able to stop the suspension of your drivers' license.
Adding more stress and anxiety to an already hard time can only hurt your case. It is also important to remember that you do have rights. Even though an arrest can be scary, it does not mean that your life it totally ruined. When you've been pulled over, make sure you comply with an officer's requests, but know that the law provides you with protection against unsound or illegal arrests.

When you are detained, you may be asked to undergo an alcohol screening test. In many cases, it is best to submit to the Breathalyzer as refusing to do so results in an immediate suspension of your license for a specific amount of time.

A family member was trying to fight for his son’s custody and his ex partner was accusing him of very serious charges to get the kid’s custody and a visa u (she thought that it was going to be easier lie and get away with what she wanted) Sam showed up two times in court and she ended up dropping the charges because she got intimidated by him.
