Despite the construction, the Dearborn Street Halloween Safe Walk continues its 20+ year history. Reservations highly recommended. Head to Vino Loco for our Special Menu of fresh dishes prepared to order. Take out or sit safely on our front or rear garden patio. Our staff has selected lots of Domestic and Imported Cheeses and other goodies in the retail shop.

Been coming to this place for ages, one of the absolute best restaurants i can recommend in all of florida. If you have ever tried tapas be prepared to try them again, but far better. The wine selection is amazing and all the waiters have a great pallet and will help you find your perfect wine. I know this sounds like I am employee but i am not, i simply love good food, wine, and great service.

Very nice evening sitting outside on their patio as the sun went down. We had a great server who helped us choose our wine (we tasted 2 before choosing) and then gave us all the specials of the day. The tapas are amazing and you can tell the chef loves combining flavors to make something a little bit different. Yes, the serving sizes are small but their food is organic and it's not just something simple on a plate. The place was hopping with many regulars who received hugs from the servers. It was a sweet night here for us.

Really 4.5 stars. What a delightful little gem. Mainly a Tapas bar with a small wine shop in the rear. Had two of the specials of the day, seared scallop, fried calamari, and three of the menu items, Morroccan chicken , smoked salmon, and fresh baked brie. All delicious, flavors well matched. Chef really knows what he/she is doing. Chicken was a tad overcooked, somewhat dry, but not unpallateable. Scallops and calamari perfectly cooked. Light sauces on each perfect. Guest had a "house red wine", which is really one of their odd (in a good way), can't find anywhere else wines that they also have

We had a wonderful dinner here! One of our best culinary experiences while staying in Englewood. The food was perfectly prepared and thought out to the very last detail. The atmosphere is friendly and laid back & we loved perusing the wine shop after dinner for a few bottles to take home. Thank you!

I made reservations for my wife and I at Vino Loco Gourmet Restaurant for Valentine’s Day. When we arrived we received a very warm welcome by Val and we were promptly seated. She explained to us that the Owner (Joyce, who we had the pleasure of meeting at the end of our visit) and the Executive Chef (Katrina) decided to open 3 special bottles of wine from the wine shop to pair with the evening’s entrees. Very nice tapas and wine cafe on the hip and busy Dearborn Street area of Englewood. We were the only ones there when we walked in at noon on a Saturday in February, but they filled up fast. $5 Wine specials, and a Tapas menu with many options tO share. We had pate & Brie. The meatballs, and spicy shrimp. Plenty for 2 of us. Left there for under $69! We will certainly be back, may be a new favorite spot for us!

Wine tasting get a reservation! It's very small and every seat was reserved, inside and out. We saw multiple people turned away. Arrive early to have your choice of seats. Order an extra glass or two of wine, they had several specials. They provide a bit of bread and cheese to clense your palate between wines. But go ahead and order something as your $10 tasting fee is waived with a purchase. Plan to take your time. She visits each table with a small pour and info about the wine so it's a relaxed pace. We look forward to returning next time we are in town!

Our annual stop at one of my favorite places. Had to have my pan seared scallops also tried the Pears Tuscany and they did not disappoint. This is a must try place for anyone who has not been here. Not only do they have a fabulous wine selection the quality is top notch and the staff is phenomenal. We highly recommend

We tried a number of dishes (as is usual with tapas), and all were outstanding. This was our first time here.....
It was some of the Best Food for all our 2015 restaurants. This is definitely in my top 5 of our Best for 2015.
We had Spanish Meatballs, Smoked Salmon Bruchetta and Shrimp in a Sherry sauce. Also a a Spanish Angel
Food Cheese Cake (wow!).... Their wine selection was also wonderful. ....

What a great little place. We stopped in here for Sunday brunch. My wife had the Soup & 1/2 Sandwich - both were excellent. I had the Huevos Y Salmon and it, too, really hit the spot. To top it off, we each had a glass of their house wine. Necessary since this is a wine joint, right?
It was a delightful experience all around and we'd stop in here more often if we lived closer to Englewood.
